Staff are very professional and accommodating they are polite and kind.
The room are very clean and the surrounding area are well kept, garden are well manicured . Breakfast was amazing but it’s always the same for the last 5 days when we stayed and they only offered cold cuts. It will be nice if there is a toast bread or hot meal. The resort is a bit of a walk downhill/uphill if you don’t have a car. Overall we really enjoyed our holiday in Elea resort.

The only thing to be mindful of is that you will have to walk up a very very steep hill to go anywhere outside of the hotel. And when I say steep...I mean take your breath away steep. That being said....it was worth the sweat!!!😂

Really lovely place to stay. We had a great holiday. We had the superior executive suite and it had a really nice view of the amazing sunset from the terrace which also had a hot tub. Despite reading other reviews where people had said the hot tubs weren’t hot enough, ours really was. The staff are lovely and there’s always someone in reception to help or there to answer the phone to bring you anything you need. The included breakfast is brought to your room each morning and is really nice. There’s food and drinks to buy by the pool too and the food is really good. The main pool and infinity pool were really cold. The hotel is just 9 mins walk into the centre of Oia so located well. However I will say walking up and down the hill each day is not for the faint hearted but there is a car rental place at the top of the hill and I’d advise renting one if you can just for the hill. Definitely got our steps in this holiday. I brought sandals with me but had to wear trainers every day. I would recommend this place to others as we were very satisfied with everything.

A truly wonderful stay for our family group of 12. We travel often, and this is easily one of the most beautiful properties we’ve experienced.

From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless, our room was spotless and ready, with thoughtful touches like complimentary tea, coffee, towels, and even wine and fruit waiting for us after an evening out. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, offering great restaurant recommendations and even providing directions with a map, which made exploring so easy.

The hot tub and pool were a real bonus and added to the overall relaxation. Breakfast was a highlight too, a generous spread of fresh fruit, pastries, cheese, tea, coffee, juices… the list goes on!

The only small thing to note is to watch your head on the curved ceiling, but it certainly didn’t take away from an otherwise perfect stay.

We’d happily return and highly recommend it.

We arrived early and it was explained our room wouldn’t be available for a while. Shown to an area to get fresh clothing out of case and then left luggage at reception.

Some really good “must visit” advice from Magherita in reception as well as the transfer at the end of stay booked to airport. Also breakfast booked for delivery to suite each morning. I am Gluten Free and this wouldn’t be an issue.

Headed into Fira, the capital city, by bus and then returned to our room later in afternoon, which was ready.

We had an early start so stayed in hotel for dinner and met the star of the resort - George. Such a busy yet courteous guy. Always friendly and welcoming.

As mentioned I am gluten free so always a concern when ordering dinner. We managed our way through this and I had the beef, prawn and chicken skewers.

Suite was really nice, well finished with a TV, minibar and safe. Also a good sized shower room as well as a bright sleeping / living area. We also had our own hot tub in our patio area and outside loungers with table, and dining table and chairs.

Breakfast was delivered by George to our room. Wow - such a spread and so tasty.

The hotel had only “opened” a couple of days previously, and whilst there was still some snagging ongoing, it didn’t take away from the quiet atmosphere that surrounded it. There are 2 pool areas, one larger one and one infinity pool. Plenty of beds. Staff superb.

The property and staff were great. The walk to and from the sights, restaurants, etc could be for some a challenge. I read in other reviews room size was an issue for my wife and I the room size was great. Ask, the staff if the jacuzzi is cold because ours was hot. The views from the hotel are beautiful. Overall a pleasant stay
***rent a car in Santorini and if you stay here they have parking. It can be a challenge the first time seeing the road so drive slow and when you see the small cannon it’s the next road to the right***

I didn't have a hot tub, but I had a heated pool, that was the perfect wnding to my evenings.
The room was spacious and very clean, a powerful shower and I appreciated the safe too.
I could watch the sunset from my terrace, which was amazing.
Staff was friendly and at disposal.

I would probably have liked a bit more privacy, as half of the people going to their room would have passed outside mine, but I would definitely stay again in the same room or in a couple of others I have seen.

My Gucci sneakers and my friends sneakers got stolen from the room 17 where I was staying in Elea, their stuff got in the room to clean the it which wasn’t even clean by the time we came back, they literally came in to just changed the towels and take our belongings… Their excuse was that they thought the shopping bag was garbage. As we talk with the from desks, they were been rude, mean, avoidant, disrespectful and they didn’t provide any solution to the issue eventho they accepted the bag was taken by their stuff, they still didn’t let us know their names, they didn’t let us use their phones, they refuse to give us a report of the incident.

1/5 – Completely Misled by Ella Resorts and Let Down by Expedia

We are extremely disappointed with our stay at Ella Resorts, specifically the Plunge Pool or Plunge Home accommodation. The booking was completely misleading. The photos on the listing clearly showed a modern, usable kitchen — which was one of the main reasons we booked this particular room. So we came fully prepared with food and supplies, expecting to cook and enjoy meals during our stay.

To our shock and frustration, none of the kitchen facilities worked. The oven, stove, and microwave were all non-functional, and there were no kitchen utensils or appliances available to use. It was essentially a decorative kitchen — and completely useless. This was never made clear in the listing, and we believe we were misled by the marketing and imagery used.

When we raised the issue with Expedia, all they offered was a £50 refund — which honestly felt like a slap in the face considering how much this impacted our trip. Between the false advertising from Ella Resorts and the inadequate response from Expedia, we felt completely let down. This experience ruined a significant part of our holiday.

Future guests should be warned: do not trust the photos alone. If you’re expecting a usable kitchen, double and triple check in writing because the listing is not clear and the resort takes no accountability.

This was our first time booking with Ella Resorts — and it will absolutely be our last.

Resort is clean and staff are very friendly. Don’t let the size of this resort stop you from ordering food. We were not sure what we were going to get as we didn’t see anyone eating but we ordered and it was outstanding! Over the top delicious! Only noted things would be breakfast is not made to order like it says in Expedia. But it was a fantastic spread of fresh continental breakfast. Hotel was also advertised as non smoking but that was not the case as people were smoking cigarettes and cigars around pool deck. YUK! Our stay was still spectacular! Highly recommend this resort for a relaxing stay. With restaurants and nightlife just a hike away up in town of Oia.

A beautiful property and very well kept. It’s a serene place to stay despite being centrally located in Oia. The reception team are very engaging and can arrange anything you require, taxi transfers, trips, best restaurants for sunset views in town and so on. You get the best of both worlds here. You could happily spend the day by the two pools (or your own of course) and eat from the limited but extremely good hotel menu and end the day watching the sunset from the infinity pool sun Loungers with a cocktail in hand having not left the property at all!

Those with fitness/mobility issues should note it's quite a steep 10 minute walk to Oia, but it's quieter this side of the island and still very convenient.

We had a beautiful open 2 story studio with 2 terraces one with a beautiful ocean view. Second had a individual pool/jacuzzi. Breakfast served every morning on terrace. Very comfortable bed, although watch your head when upstairs low clearance. Overall everything was beautiful. Eva and Margarita both very helpful, booked ATV and coordinated pickup and dropoff and suggested several restaurant.

Amazing place to relax and enjoy the view, their pool and some quiet time! After a 2 week adventure around Greece, this was a perfect way to relax. Our stay here was terrible and ruined our experience in Santorini as the air conditioning to our unit was broken. These buildings get incredibly hot - we were given a fan and told that’s all they could do after working with the hotel to fix it until nearly 1am. We weren’t able to get any quality rest. The hotel did nothing to reimburse us or compensate for this issue. In addition the bathrooms are incredibly small and leave a lot to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The miniature hygiene product bottles were clearly used and only halfway full that were left for us.

First off - Ana and Nick were terrific! The in-suite breakfast delivered to our villa each morning was amazing. Delicious and beautifully presented. The bed was very comfy however, the bathroom was small and humidity was a bit of an issue. Having our own hot tub was a absolute plus. If you want peace and quiet with the option of a 7 minute walk to town (shopping, dinning and the scenic blue domes) this is the place to be. If you’re coming from the US remember to bring a converter as various ones the hotel lent us did not work for our devices.

It was a steep walk to get to the central area so not ideal for those with mobility issues unless you have a car. Would definitely visit again! Highly recommend

Customer service was amazing. Pool had dirt in it because Santorini is a dusty area. Hotel overall was amazing. Downside had no wifi or reception in our room. And there appears to be some form of a rubbish dumb behind the neighbours hotel(not sure if its illegal dumping).

Elea Resort was beautiful and in great walking distance to everything wonderful in Oia. The staff really made our stay exceptional, especially Nick our bartender/server. He served our breakfast outside of our room each morning with a smile and everyone was just lovely. The Breakfast was similar each day but plentiful and filling to start our day. Highly recommend
