Hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and well appointed, and food at the restaurants, including breakfast, was excellent. Pool was good size and staff was very nice and accommodating. Most importantly, the concierge booked all of the tours and vehicles at short notice and was just really really nice and helpful. Everyone there was happy to have us and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. This was a trip we had wanted to take for years, the hotel made sure we only had great memories.

Staff are very nice. Need some training for the pool staff if this is a 5 star hotel.
Spa staff need to clear away ALL the used pool towels at the front of the spa entrance, there are 2 girls at the entrance who sit & do nothing ALL day when there is a mountain of used towels
5 feet away. It’s the little details that matter !!when you state 5 STAR.
my wife & I spent a week here & every night we were killing mosquitoes by the dozen. They are breeding in the bathrooms.
I complained daily but to deaf ears !!
Next day put back on my exterminating cloths & went to work.
More mossies than the Florida swamps.
If you are yet to arrive make sure you have a case of mossie spray & a filtered mask & suit.
This hotel should have put me on the payroll !!
The amount I killed was no joke.
Also if you eat bananas bring your own , they never have them for breakfast.
Apart from that the hotel is ok.

I cannot say enough about this resort! The aesthetics of this resort are stunning!

Upon our arrival to Cambodia we were offered a complimentary shuttle to the hotel and we we welcomed by the staff as soon as we arrived. They came out to greet us and welcome us “home”. The check in process was seamless as we were taken to the welcome area and given tea and a Cambodian sweet while we waited. Andy, our concierge got everything together and then personally walked us through the hotel to familiarize us with the layout and then escorted us up to our room which was stunning and very comfortable.

The resort offers several dining options, all of which are delightful and delicious. The buffet breakfast is complimentary and has so much to choose from for every liking. After several hours of touring Angkor Wat Temple Complex and the many other attractions in the area, we spent a lot of our down time at the poolside bar just enjoying the scenery.

It was also our anniversary and Andy was kind enough to make us a reservation for an Asparsa Dinner Show which was also amazing!
We even returned “home” one afternoon to a beautiful Anniversary message displayed on our bed of two swans with rose petals as well as a complimentary Tiramisu cake.

I truly cannot express my gratitude to the wonderful staff at this resort! It was an amazing experience we will never forget!

Great room, amazing breakfast buffet and the hotel is overall well maintained.

However, I had my laundry done and it was a small bag mostly underwear. Not more than 300g and the cost was $54. They give price list and it was my fault not to check but even in the most expensive countries it was not even half of this. I had lunch for $25 for a small plate. Massage is much more expensive with similar service elsewhere. So basically if you do not use extra services, it is a beautiful hotel. I also didnt realize it is 25 min walk to city center. I used their whatsapp service and havent received an answer so do not bother.

Lastly, I saw a cockroach on the wall that freaked me out and I stayed up all night but havent seen anything else for 5 days.

The only reason I am writing this comment is when I booked the hotel I read the reviews and seemed like a wonderful place. It is indeed a wonderful place if you don't use any extras which is not convenient for me to walk 25 mins to get a servive I need.

We had a great stay at Borei Angkor Resort & Spa. Room was good size, clean, comfortable bed. Bathroom was nice with good shower pressure and hot water. Breakfast was amazing with many western and local food choices. Staff were attentive and helpful. Pool area was inviting and clean. Hotel is 10 minutes tuk tuk ride to the Angkor Watt temple, pub street and night market. We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very central. The rooms are spacious, very clean and offer control options that make it easy to adjust temperature and light settings. The pool area is ideal for a relaxation. The breakfast has a very wide selection addressing different dietary preferences and good balance between international and local cuisines. Most importantly, the staff is very friendly, very respectful, very helpful and very attentive. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

I had arrived at the Angkor Borei Hotel for a short stay before starting at a local yoga retreat. One of the reasons I booked the hotel was to have access to the entertainment they advertised outdoors with dinner. However, I was advised that it was booked for a private event and I could not attend.

The room balcony is not useable. There were so may bugs and insects, in the hundreds, rendering it unusable. I thought this may be a local issue and did not make a complaint of it. However, stays in subsequent hotels in Siem Reap made me realise it was just this hotel. Others treat the balconies with repellants or incense which keep the insects away.

Worst of all, I was checked into a room which was next to an air conditioning generator. It got so loud at night, that I woke up to the noise (like being next to an airplane) and changed rooms in the middle of the night just to be able to sleep.

I have traveled the world and this is the most beautiful hotel I have ever seen. It has many interesting architectural features but Its beauty comes from the woodworking. It has a forest of hardwood. Hardwood floors, solid hardwood chairs and doors, hardwood cornices, hardwood wainscoting in the halls, hardwood on the elevator both inside and out. but by far the most striking feature is the hardwood circular stairway. It is a work of art.
The hotel also has an excellent restaurant, a very nice large pool, and excellent landscaping.

Relaxing resort, great breakfast, pool and gym

We stayed at this hotel for four nights during our stay in Siem Reap. Starting from check-in to when we left, everyone was so friendly, kind and welcoming! We went during the off-season, so the hotel was not crowded and we were able to enjoy the amenities (pool, gym) with very few people around. The gym is quite large (one of the biggest we've seen during our Asia travels so far) and the pool is also very nice. The daily morning breakfast is delicious with a variety of different options including made to order omelet, crepe and soup stations.
The hotel is about a 5-7 minute tuk tuk ride from the main tourist area. This wasn't an issue at all since there are so many tuk tuk drivers around it was very easy to find rides whenever we needed them.
Highly recommend this resort! Would stay here again next time we visit.

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at in all of my global travels! I highly recommend staying here.

From the welcome team, a welcome drink and the kindness of all of the staff, you feel well-cared for and a little spoiled!

The hotel is beautifully furnished and set back from the street, which ensures a quiet stay. We took advantage of the pool for a cool evening swim before bed. The pool towels were perfectly placed, so we could see them immediately upon walking into the pool area.

Our hotel room was clean, spacious and perfect! We used the hotel robes to go to the swimming area. We loved the balcony with the swing bed, to enjoy our bottle of wine. A staff person kindly came and opened our bottle of wine for us.

Breakfast was delicious and reminded me of why I travel so frequently to Asia! They provided both Western and Asian options to choose from.

Once the staff heard we were going to a sunrise Angkor Wat tour, they arranged a boxed breakfast to be prepared for us by 4am! We were so grateful to begin out day with a solid breakfast.

I hope you book this gorgeous hotel while in Siem Reap. I’m definitely coming back as soon as possible and bringing my friends!

I had an incredible four-night stay at Borei Angkor Resort & Spa. I have never stayed in a hotel where every single staff member was kind, friendly, and as helpful as these team members were. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety of options. Also, the room was absolutely beautiful and had everything I needed. I loved the fish pond in the lobby and had to visit them every time I walked by! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. As a solo traveler, I never felt out of place or looked at funny like what often happens. Instead, I was treated like I was part of their family. It was hard to leave! Thank you to the entire team at Borei Angkor Resort for your hospitality during my Cambodian Adventure!

My husband and I have just spent 15 wonderful nights at this hotel. Right from the moment we arrived, we felt special and welcomed. The room was pleasant with a lovely outlook over the pool. Good A/C comfortable bed and clean. Bottled water was provided everyday. Then onto the food from the breakfast buffet to the Sunset lounge the food was exceptional. Thank you to all the chefs that work behind the scenes, it was incredible. 4 restaurants to choose from if you wanted to dine in. Every day we were greeted with smiles and asked if we needed help with bookings or transport and at the end of the day greeted with 'welcome home\". If your looking for a relaxing affordable holiday with exceptional accomodation Borei Angkor is highly recommended by us. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

The Borei is a great property and the staff is very accommodating.
Breakfast was excellent, but is mostly the same each day (still many choices).
The facilities are nice (pool, sauna & hot tub, & the wt room).
Everything closes down at 10p, and meals (along with guest services) are a little pricey.
Overall, was a good experience and I would recommend.

The property looked nice in the pictures. However, it is quite old and outdated inside, especially the rooms. I paid a higher rate than my friends who booked through a travel agent, and yet I was given a very basic room compared to the others. Our Cambodian friend also booked on her own through another website paid the lowest price amongst us and yet was given the best room on the top floor of the hotel! The dining room staff were very nice and pleasant! Otherwise. It was not a very enjoyable experience!!

Also, the pool area requires attention as it is a concrete area without much Cambodian beauty. Be careful and take a flashlight to the gym if you’re an early riser. No lite pathway. Beautifully appointed hotel and rooms. Convenient to many locations. We arranged for a tuk tuk with driver and private guide for Angkor Wat with the sunset. Our guide, Pit, was amazing! Highly recommend over group tour. Not badly priced either. The tuk tuk driver for the tour was amazing and we had him transport us all around while we were there. The pool area is great. Afternoon tea was very good as is the lounge on the 4th floor. Our first night we had dinner at the Ox Club and had the steak. Service and food divine.

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed many of the hotel services. Our driver Thomas took us to Angkor Wat along with our guide as well as back to the airport. We highly recommend the special dinner the hotel offers with traditional food and music/dances. Sometimes just being a tourist is worth it. Spa and pool were great as was the breakfast. Staff management was very attentive to any questions as well. We hope to return.

Our group had four rooms for a week in December 2024. The hotel accommodated our requests for 1- or 2-beds depending on the room which was great. The beds were very comfortable, and with A/C and black-out curtains, everyone slept very well.
The hotel was well staffed and the level of service was good. Breakfast was great, lots of options to try. One request would be to make hand sanitizer more accessible at the breakfast buffet. (No one in our group got sick, just a general recommendation for buffets).
The gym facility is beautiful. The spa and hot/cold tubs were a great amenity.
Poolside service was nice to have, but a bit slow, and impossible to get a strong cocktail!
The location was good because you could walk to a couple cafes or small grocery, or grab a $1-2 tuktuk to the busier areas.
Airport transfer provided by the hotel was seamless and so appreciated after 20 hours of travel!
Overall, we were looking for a comfortable reliable hotel with amenities and great service on a budget, and this one totally came through for us.

Location is near from Siem Riep central. (5min by tuk tuk)
Breakfast is tasty, many kind of food. Pool area also nice.
Room is clean. Totally very nice hotel. I will be back.
