The good thing is that it’s away from the market area and Pub Street. Those are certainly areas that you’ll want to spend time in for restaurants and nightlife, but those areas come with noise long into the night. This hotel is a short and inexpensive Tuk Tuk ride away from all that and very quiet. I really enjoyed the swimming pool here to.

Overall a good stay!

Wonderful stay. The employees were extremely nice. The morning breakfast was good and there are plenty of options. The rooms were clean and the AC worked great. The hotel wasn’t too far from the market and there were plenty of places to eat that are walking distance.

The only real issue was the insects that surrounding the hotel. We had one craw into our room one night and we weren’t able to get it out. Overall it was a great stay.

I fully satisfied at the hotel service during stayed 5 days, and all the staffs were friendly and very helpful. Especially I thank Kevin's warm welcoming for our couple. Regarding Breakfast, was not many items but taste very good, hotel location was good and was able to use easy Tuk-tuk at the front of the hotel if you need to move other place. The size of room was big enough and you will satisfy Spa service in Hotel. Also if have enough travel time, I propose you to use Hotel's pool.

This is an amazing hotel located just across the river from the center of Siem Reap so it has the advantage of being quiet and serene while still being close to most everything. The entrance to the hotel is through pools with lotus flowers and a replica of Angkor Wat into a lovely reception area where I was greeted with a welcome cool towel and drink. My room was beautiful, overlooking an infinity salt-water pool with lounge chairs, umbrella, and a bar with food service. The breakfast (included) was amazing buffet with Asian dishes, fruits and cereals, and a “noodle” and egg station where they made fresh orders. Incredible croissants! The staff was so helpful and gracious, and took good care of me when I had some special needs.

Excellent hotel located in a quiet area, a short walk (or tuk-tuk) ride from the city center. I spent three nights in this hotel in July 2018. My room was very spacious and modern, yet comfortable, with a good size balcony and good view. I didn't have time to take advantage of it, but the pool also looked great.

The hotel staff was amazing - they truly catered to all of my needs. They helped me arrange my visits to the temples in the morning and made reservations for me at night, provided free tuk-tuks anywhere in central Siem Reap, and were overall very personable.

I had a great time staying at this hotel and would highly recommend it!

In our room's shower area, the upper wall area appeared to lack tiles and showed bare cement. There also were a few ants and a couple crickets running around. We did enjoy the friendly, efficient and helpful staff. The price for our room was so reasonable that we could overlook any deficiencies or complaints I have mentioned.

THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE !

This hotel exceeded all our expectations ! We were a group of 16 arriving at different times and we were all picked up with no issues, they were very consistent with communication months prior to the trip, the hotel staff was INCREDIBLE ! They remembered me by name, had everything we needed a phone call away....just everything about this place is PERFECT ! It’s close to town and also away from the business of Siem Reap for some serenity , the restaurant’s food is AMAZINGLY great ! We would wake up early to make sure we don’t miss the great breakfast. The rooms are incredibly spacious , great water pressure in the bathrooms, just nothing to criticize at all really.

Warm and Welcoming

After our cruise we arrived in Siem Reap at the Damrie Angkor Hotel. From the cool drink to the warm welcome we knew we had made the right choice of accomodation. The staff were just charming and there to help us. We hadn't pre arranged any tours so we were happy to look at what they were offering. Both my cousin and I have health issues so we needed to find tours that we could handle , so we booked a car with driver and guide. We are forever thankful for the assistance we received, we would never have seen so much without there help. There's also a tutt tutt at hand for any town and market trips.

Very nice and comfy hotel

The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good with variety and with live music. I particular like the egg and noddle station. The swimming pool is well maintained and clean. We feel safe and relax at the hotel. The only downside i think is the location of the hotel to the main city area, which is abt 10mins walk. We dont mind the walk as the weather wasnt too bad (or you can get a tuk tuk if it is too hot)

Hotel located in a small street, it is a bit far from centre (night market, pub street) which is great for people who look for quietness. Around 15 mins from airport by car. Breakfast is great with different variety at budget price, soup noodles is the best.
Avoid to stay room at groundfloor, too many frogs during our stay. Overall, it is great for budget stay.

Amazing boutique hotel

We were made to feel so very welcome from the free airport pick up to our welcome drink and then being shown to our room.
The guy who checked us in and showed us around, also was there on our last day and he couldn't have been more helpful and attentive.
I believe his name was Cheng Huy - such a credit to a beautiful hotel.
The staff were all so very friendly and really made us feel so very welcome, from holding doors open and knowing us by n are each time, asking how we were and offering help and advice about things to see and do.

I really can NOT recommend this hotel enough, it was an amazing stay and we WILL be back!!

I did read the reviews on trip advisor reading the neighbouring crocodile farm, I have to say, this didn't cause us any issues at all, no noise or smell issues as some people have commented.

The breakfast selection was perfect and the room was lovely to a very high standard.

Book this place and don't worry, it is A grade 5 star service.
Thank you so much for making our first trip to Cambodia a very memorable one, we will be back!!

A great stay in Siem Reap

This hotel is very good value. We were upgraded to a very large garden suite, with separate bath, shower, WC. The restaurant is also well priced and quality food. The hotel is an easy 15 minute walk to Pub Street, the Angkor Museum and most amenities. There are other good bars closer than Pub Street, with roof top terraces, close by. Service was first rate and the staff were both welcoming and helpful. With a free breakfast as well, we recommend a stay, especially at these rates. PS. My camera needed to be repaired, there was a good camera repair shop 5 mins away. John and Dawene

Fantastic Hotel in the heart of Siem Reap

I stayed for my first 3 nights in Damrei Angkor and it was fantastic. The free airport pick up was great after a long flight. The hotel staff are extremely attentive and helpful, anything you need they will organise it for you. The daily breakfast is delicious. It's a great place to relax after a day in town or visiting local sights. Good location too, walking distance to Pub Street, central market and night market. Definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Amazing Stay! Would book AGAIN!

What a welcoming place to kick back at after spending 7 days on a small riverboat on the Mekong. The room is spacious, well appointed & the bathroom is luxurious! Perfect after a long day at the temples. The staff is so hospital & friendly. The breakfast buffet is delish! One day for sunrise at Angkor they even packed a breakfast at no extra charge (though the monkeys ate it).

If you like smaller hotels with a bit more personalized attention - this is the place for you! I would defintely stay here again!

Nice hotel overall, but should not be charged for having a girl stay when the room you book is for 2 people anyway. I understand the policy and why the try and do it but when you have a local girl you know come over and you're charged extra that is not right.

Not terrible, but better options in Siem Reap

This was our third trip to Siem Reap in two years, and our usual hotel was booked, so we decided to try this one. I was pleased when the hotel reached out prior to our stay to arrange pickup from the airport. Unfortunately, the follow-through on their service was quite poor. No driver met us at the airport, and after connecting to wifi to call the hotel via skype they insisted that they had no record of our transport request. They continued to insist this even after we took a taxi to the property, and showed them the e-mails they had written to us! It was a little baffling: they were looking at an e-mail from themselves to us confirming our flight numbers and transportation, and still insisting that we had never arranged transport.

Unfortunately the service didn't get better. We arranged a breakfast for the next morning to take away for our earlier departure. Maybe we shouldn't have been surprised when the breakfast never appeared.

The room was nice and clean. The property is fine. It's a little far from the center. After our experience, we wouldn't stay there again.

Lovely stay, room was great, big and clean - we received a surprise complimentary upgrade upon arrival which was a nice start to our holiday! Staff are polite, attentive and helpful. Location was great - only a few minutes to Pub Street (USD$2) and 20 minutes to Angkor Wat.
I haven't give a 5/5 overall as the WIFI connection in our room was terrible and we had trouble communicating to staff answering the phones as they didn't understand English. I appreciate that not all staff members can speak English well, however would be good to have English speaking staff on the phone to allow communication with guests.
Overall would recommend this hotel - good value for money.

They will try their best to resolve issues professionally even if some guests acted rudely due to the mix ups and over booking.

We were pleasantly surprised that the rooms, in this boutique hotel, were so modern and comfortable. Pub Street and the river are easily within walking distance of the hotel or a very inexpensive, short tuk-tuk ride. The manager of the hotel was extremely friendly and made sure our stay was comfortable. All the staff were so accommodating and helpful. A beautiful, heated infinity pool, to relax in at the end of the day. Happy hour every day where you could have 2 for 1 drinks. Would highly recommend this hotel for any stay in Siem Reap.

The BEST HOTEL in Siem Reap!!!

Words cannot describe how amazing the staff at this hotel are!! My uncle fell extremely ill to a stomach virus on our first day (NOT due to hotel food). The manager \"Sophanna\" came to his room along with a housekeeper at 5am to attend to his needs. He called to check on my uncle the next day and offered to have some rice porridge brought to his room. Where else do you get this type of genuine care and service?? Nowhere. When we decided to change our plans to go to Phnom Penh, he also assisted tremendously with this going way above the \"call of duty.\" The whole staff always greeted us with a warm smile, the restaurant had great food at unbelievably cheap prices. Breakfast was nice with fresh eggs made to order and a different selection of Western and Asian food daily. Overall, the staff - from management, bellman, housekeeping, reception were so warm and simply amazing. The ONLY minor complaints we had about the property: WIFI signal was pretty bad. The distance to Pub Street seemed to be a bit more than shown on the web-site map so we took tuk tuks (only $2 ea. way). We had to ask housekeeping to change our sheets when they cleaned our room, even after a few days. No tip box for the staff - they really should have one as their service is so good we felt it was absolutely appropriate but it's difficult to tip out each staff member individually. Overall this is the best place I've stayed in Cambodia and I've stayed at some good ones. My new \"Go-to\" place in Siem Reap!!

Our family just had a fabulous stay at Damrei Hotel - the Manager was extremely kind and offered us a free upgrade to the family suite as there were no interconnecting rooms available during our stay and our children are all under 8 years of age. We really enjoyed our stay, the pool is a lovely respite after a dust day out at the temples and discovering the culture and beautiful Siem Reap. The restaurant is simple but convenient especially with kids in tow. The staff are very friendly though their english could be improved as a few requests seemed a little difficult for them to understand and settling the bill took quite a while, though it was rather late so perhaps the staff were fatigued. Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend to families and couples as the service, location and quality of hotel is great.

Think I was just unlucky

I think I just had a bad experience, and doubt it is the same for everyone. My room service was ice cold, my checkin and checkout were dramas and had different staff telling me different information about things.
At night, there was continuous noise and the aid conditioning was so bright I had to turn it off.
Besides those things, the hotel is lovely with good facilities, comfy rooms and staff who are helpful. The hotel is new and I think my experience was down to this - staff were not yet on the same page, processes are not yet sorted, etc.

scared for my life!!!

room smelled of urine upon check in but i think it's due to the ac. i contacted hotel for pick up at the airport and they had one of the bagging staff at the airport take us in the hotel in a moped. the airport staff drove around for quiet sometime and was very lost. finally stop at the intersection to meet the hotel staff. i had my 14 year old son with me and the 2 of us along with the driver drove around in the city on his moped. i was worried for my son as a mom. not doing that again, ever. the airport staff told me he had a tuktuk. no tuktuk afterall. just glad we made it in one piece out of there.

Our enjoyable stay at the Damrei

We enjoyed staying at the Damrei. When we arrived, our luggage did not make it with us. But, our room had everything that we needed; robes and slippers, toothbrushes and tooth paste, shower supplies and fresh fruit daily. We completely enjoyed the restaurant breakfast buffet and lunch by the pool after a day of sightseeing. The location was very convenient to everything.

Hidden gem worth finding

Clean, comfortable room. Very good for the price, except that the patio door did not lock properly (a problem often found in economy Cambodian hotels) but the patio was secure on the third floor. Nice pool, good restaurant with complete buffet breakfast included in price. Attentive staff that spoke English. Map location is misleading: Road #20 is on the opposite side of the river from Bokambor & Road #2. Hotel is set back from guesthouse-lined street about a half block from Apsara Market. Limited off-street parking.

This place has thought of everything. Your greeted by a warm smile and cold drink, along with a refreshing towel for your face and hands. Because they are only about 9 months open, some drivers are not as familiar with the location. But it is close to everything you want and need. My room had a balcony (nice size) over looking the pool area. The bed was big and comfortable. Everything was clean. Water pressure and temperature was great. Also had a fruit platter waiting for you upon arrival. Also has a tut-tut dedicated to the hotel. The staff was smiling and always helpful. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Siem Reap area. As it was raining when i left, they escorted me out with umbrellas, just a class act i will never forget. Also in the showers they have full size liquid soap, shampoo, and conditioner. Literally all you need is your clothes, they have the rest wsiting for you. ⛤⛤⛤⛤⛤ service. My only regret I did not have breakfast (free) because I had left for Angkor Wat to catch the sunrise.

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and my sister in law got her room upgraded as we requested for a room next to ours... staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is decent.... very new hotel but a little far from club street for walking but tuk tuks are in abundance so never a problem to get around.

Wow I would really recommend this place, the staff were awesome and so friendly. The rooms were so comfortable and large. The pool is fantastic. Gosh I really don't think I can fault this place.

Nice, new modern hotel. Very friendly staff.

The hotel opened in October '15. The hotel is really nice and the bathroom was super modern with a great rainfall shower. The pool was great and a good size. The morning breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff was very courteous. The hotel manager would call me by name and always check in with me. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the night market area.

This hotel probably was really great back in the days, but it is worn down and the staff seems highly untrained. The wifi hardly works. While the room was generally clean it has suffered from wear and tear. There is little hot water in the shower, and when I told the staff they said they’ll look into it, but then forgot.

They also failed to inform us about a 9 dollar shared shuttle to the airport as an alternative to the 40 dollar private car.

All in all it is an ok place to stay, and not very expensive. But I would give it 3 stars not 4

Consider other options

We were more or less the only guests at the hotel - a bit spooky, as everything was dark.

We had two bedrooms and a living room with kitchen. Lots of space - but not cozy at all. The fridge was not cleaned and smelled awful.

The beds are very hard - but you sleep well on the couch in the living room…..

Breakfast is very local and not much to choose from.

Primero tengo que decir que le doy un 10 a todos los trabajadores del hotel, han sido todos maravillosos.
Pero tambien tengo que decir cosas que no son tan buenas, me explico.
Antes de reservar el hotel mire las criticas y ahora me acuerdo de un par de ellas, las cuales decian la verdad.
Las fotos de la habitacion estan realizadas de tal manera que parecen mejor de lo que son, este hotel es nuevo, pero cuando entras en la habitacion te das cuenta que las calidades no son buenas...nosotros no nos sentimos a gusto, mas bien parecia una habitacion de tres estrellas, remates malos...y aun encima calefactor en la ducha....en resumen no nos volveriamos ospedar. Pero vuelvo recordar, todo los trabajadores de 10, pero las habitaciones no cumplne las expectativas.

전반적으로 다른 호텔들에 비해 최근에 지어져 비교적 깨끗하여 가족여행시 마다 매번 방문하는 호텔입니다.

제가 숙박했던 패밀리룸의 경우 두 객실을 연결해놓은 형태기 때문에 출입구가 2개라서 많이 편했습니다. 일행 중 개인이 호텔 스파에 다녀오거나 개인용무를 보고올 때 양쪽 문 출입이 가능하여 용이하게 사용가능합니다.

조식은 전반적으로 아침에 먹기에 부담스럽지 않은 메뉴들로 구성되어있으며,
국수는 3가지 종류의 면/고기(돼지고기 닭고기 선택) 으로 기호에 맞게 주문이 가능합니다.
다른 호텔들의 경우 다양한 면들이 항상 구비되어있지만, 제가 방문했던 시기가 비성수기라서 그런지 일부 일정에는 한가지 종류의 면만 선택가능했습니다.

가족 혹은 친구 방문시 정말 추천하는 호텔입니다.

We stayed 5 nights in Damrei Angkor hotel.
I booked it very early so the price is very unbeatable!
Breakfast is very good, they change some meals everyday. I think the best one is the attitude of all staffs, always can’t wait to open door and welcome you with a big smile! It’s definitely worth to book Damrei for my stays in Angkor.
