I don’t often write reviews but when Shinta Mani Angkor requested me to write one , I was more than happy to do so.
My stay here way very satisfying and I feel a little bit of sadness leaving such a beautiful place with beautiful people and great hospitality.
The food was amazing , the rooms and the service flawless . We utilized their gym and spa service and very very happy with both .
The hotel is associated with Shintamani foundation that serves the underprivileged in Cambodia . You can read up about it online. This made the place extra special for me .
The hotel is centrally located . You cannot go wrong picking this place for your stay in Cambodia.

Our lovely 4 day experience at Shinta Mani began with the space itself, which can be described as an immersive retreat. The residence has beautiful water features and local plant life, and always had a calming lemongrass/jasmine scent, with many lotuses. (Just remember bug spray)

On top of the relaxing environment, the amenities were also excellent; especially the food offerings. We looked forward to breakfast everyday- a tasteful blend of modern and traditional cuisines. Their options for lunch and dinner were also well selected.

The hospitality service was outstanding. The staff team was very personable, and passionate about their job. Donny at the front desk, and Chantha at the breakfast buffet especially stood out to us with their service.

The staff is exceptional and they are a hospitality training hotel. Should out to one of the butlers, Grace, who can make things happen.
Bensley Design created an elegant design with the perfect splash of whimsy. Rooms fitted out welll, spacious bathrooms.
Restaurants outstanding. Lovely breakfast buffet, do not miss the banana bread. Kroya fine dining has a most exceptional tasting menu. We went twice!
With 14 years since my last visit and so much change to the city, it was delightful to find these pockets of love.

I have to say this is probably the nicest place I’ve ever stayed in Asia. So clean. So beautiful. The people were 10 out of 10 that worked here. I truly beautiful place to spend your time in between adventuring over such a cool area. I will highly recommend this destination and specifically this resort. The staff was so accommodating and helpful. They treated us like family, happy to see us every day. Truly, a special experience that I recommend anyone looking for a place to see for themselves.

Overall the property was good. The grounds are nice, the pool is relaxing, and we had a godo time. I was traveling with my very pregnant wife and six-year old daughter. We had reserved a room that had an extra room with an additional bed and a sitting area. The hotel has two separate buildings and the room we reserved was on the top floor in the primary building. When they showed us the room, it was very nice, but that building does not have an elevator. They offered to move us to the other building which has an elevator which we thought was very accommodating of them. However, that room did not have the extra bed and sitting area. We felt that we had to stay in the much smaller room due to the stairs/elevator issue, but were overall very disappointed in staying in a much smaller room without any offer of a price discount. Overall, very disappointed and we will look for other accommodations the next time that we visit Siem Reap.

Very centrally located in Siem Reap, close to the market travesed either by foot or tuk tuks. The hotel is very clean, staff very friendly ( special mentions: Kim Hong, Lucky and Franklin) and great breakfast options on both wings of the property on either side of the street

We had the King Pool Suite for 5 night. First night we were on street side which was loud due to the volleyball courts across the street. The mgmt changed us to Villa 9 which was in the back and perfectly situated.

A very positive experience with our butler, Neand, who was there for us at all hours. He seemed to respond to us during our entire stay regardless of time. Excellent job from him and better than any other butler service we have had before.

Actually, the entire staff from serving staff to people in the spa provided top-notch and friendly service.

Wonderful experience

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were luxurious and very comfortable. The staff went over and beyond iin making our stay very memorable. They were caring, very friendly, and responsive to all our needs. The breakfast selection was awesome and the Spa experience was equally fantastic. All in all, we highly recommend Shinta Mani Angkor. What a wonderful property and people! We rented a villa and a 2-bed room. The villa was amazing. Son, our butler, was top notch. The food was delicious. Everyone working was just so pleasurable, amazing and downright lovely. Our saddest day was our check out day. The Shinta will not disappoint! And Cambodia is just wonderful!

A little jewel down town Siem Reap, ideally located walking distance for old market and other shopping area. Perfect relaxing place after a day in the temples, the swimming pool is a relieve. Staff, from réception, restaurant to house keeper are super friendly, very accommodating and proudly represent the beauty of the Khmer Smile. A great place, will be back for sure.

The team running this property were exceptional. My wife and I arrive separately at different times and we were both met separately at the airport by the hotel car. 1 hour journey from the huge empty new airport. WiFi in the car. Very simple check in. Quiet room despite central location. A/C was a lifesaver. Complimentary breakfast. Tip, wait for the menu before loading too much from the excellent buffet.

Trips arranged by front desk were brilliant. Central location really worked and when it was too hot to walk to markets, local bars, restaurants and pub street then we used the “Grab” app to book $1 Tuktuks.

Fantastic stay

We had a wonderful stay in a pool villa at the shinta Mani.
The room was wonderful with inclusive minibar and daily laundry which was so helpful with children (and after hot days seeing the temples). The staff were fantastic and so helpful, arranging excursions, tickets and tuk-tuks for us.
We’d definitely recommend and hope to be back!

My only choice at Siem Reap

I am a fan of Bill Bensley's designs and this place was my only choice to stay at Siem Reap. If we had more time in the country I would have also loved to stay at Shinta Mani Wild. We loved our room, the food, the location, the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. Angkor Wat complex is on its own is wonderful and our stay at Shinta Mani completed it. The only 2 things I can wish is that some stay was not so fluent in English and sometimes caused miscommuication in orders at breakfast but was OK for us to handle and its a shame the huge telecom operator towers next to the hotels beautiful courtyard. I also must add the Outsider bar and shop is also a must visit for hotel guests. We loved the drinks and the live performance. Thank you Shinta Mani team for making our time at Siem Reap unforgettable.0

Shinta Mani is a beautiful property with a boutique tranquil feel. The staff were super courteous, my family enjoyed both pools and the breakfast buffet spread with made to order espresso drinks deserves special mention. I also had the opportunity to have the excellent Khmer tasting menu at Kroya which I would highly recommend. Overall, this would be my go to hotel for future visits!

The Shinta Mani Angkor was a perfect destination for a holiday. The location was perfect - quiet and safe area, yet walking distance to many things you want to visit, like the market and the palace. The staff was beyond fantastic. They were attentive and helpful. They assisted with making any necessary reservations and transport as well as providing suggestions of things around town. The facilities were great and the food was delicious. The Shinta Mani truly made our visit to Siem Reap unforgettable.

All hotels and hospitality businesses could learn a lot from the friendly, efficient, supportive staff at Shinto Mani. They are outstanding! Everyone is friendly and engaging. The private tours and airport rides they arranged were first class. They go the extra mile to ensure your visit is excellent. The property is beautiful and creative in the decor and art. There is a small boutique and bar I would recommend onsite too. And the spa is fantastic. So welcoming and attentive. The restaurants are great too. We loved Siem Reap and felt safe, welcome and supported and highly recommend the hotel. The founder also runs a nonprofit for Cambodians here to learn the hospitality business which is so wonderful to see in action.

super friendly staff, I really feel like home and for sure I will recommend this place. We had a direct access to pool ground floor room. It was excellent. one thing to take a note the shower area is relatively smaller. If big size person might be difficult to turn around freely in shower area. The mattress is not the simmons type which you will feel your partner's movement (most of hotel also like this).

Great Location and Price.

This hotel is in a great neighborhood, close to a mall and many different restaurants and shops. It is also much closer to Angkor Wat than a lot of other similar quality hotels. The pool is great to swim laps and right out side the door for most rooms.

Fabulous staff, friendly service, lovely hotel. Pool water was hot and not at all refreshing. Breakfast was a good variety of foods although not much in the way of Cambodian dishes . Room was spacious . Shower was angled into the corner and unable to adjust so ended up being jammed into the corner when showering. A strange arrangement of servicing the room twice a day.

We stayed four nights. First when we just arrived the staff makes you feel you arrived home with welcome drink and cold refreshing towels. We got rooms near the swimming pool with back door allowing you to go directly to the pool. The food was good with lot's of options the hotel arrange all your trips in Siem Reap and also activities like cooking class and tea cermony that occur in hotel. Bottom line the hotel is simply great and i will recomand anyone considering visit Siem Reap to invest more money per night and get a once in a lifetime experience

If only every hotel was like this!

Wow! What a gem! It is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed in. The service is extraordinary. We were treated like royalty! The wait staff couldn’t do enough to make us happy. The meals were outstanding. It’s hard to believe how much Shinta Mani offers, for such reasonable rates.

Our stay was extremely pleasant and lovely, Jack received us and checked us in. The room was lovely with a balcony facing the lap pool. There are two lovely pools, a lap pool and a bigger pool on the opposite side. The dining area is pleasant with a great selection of dishes. Breakfast was simple with a combination of Cambodian, French and American breakfast.

We were booked for the Shinta Mani Angkor hotel and the reception and check in experiences were great, including cool towels and sparking wine. From what I could see, the hotel looked beautiful and the staff were very professional, helpful and friendly. Fortunately for us, we were upgraded to the Shinta Mani - Bensley Collection private villas just across the street. It was an absolutely amazing experience. We had a private pool with rooftop area and outside bathtub. This hotel is pure luxury. We had a personal butler/concierge, whose name is Long, and his service was impeccable. If I am ever in Siem Reap again, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. It's worth every penny. We were so grateful to have been given the opportunity to stay there. I highly recommend this hotel.
