Large room with lake view from hallway (room window overlooks hallway). Small tables outside room in hallway with a lovely view of lake across the street (not part of the property). For the price, the room was dated with older furniture and amenities. Very basic breakfast (extra cost). Pools and whirlpools not crowded which we enjoyed. Overall, well located older hotel in need of special care (for instance touchups here and there, cleaning, as well as basic info in the room to welcome visitor, and explain how run the tv, know breakfast hours, wifi code etc.. Lastly, there are reminders of patrons being filmed while on property are various locations with video stored which we found unusual (not just in parking lot)..

This was a great hotel stay with friendly staff and a clean, well-maintained property.

For anyone looking to disconnect from the city and relax, this is the perfect spot. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers stunning views of the lake.

Its location near Saint-Agathe-des-Monts is also very convenient, with shops, restaurants, and other essentials within close distance.

A peaceful and enjoyable getaway that I would gladly recommend for both solo travelers or groups.

Room was not ready at 3pm. Front desk gave us the key but when we went to the room it was still being cleaned. Better communication would have avoided us going up with our bags and wait front of our room for it to be ready.

No privacy in the room. Unable to open the window curtain (window and the entrance facing the hallway).

Room cleaning is not included. If you request is by leaving the sign on the door, sign will be removed without cleaning the room.

Parking is an issue. Up on the hill is not safe to park and sometimes if you park, you cannot leave due to other cars blocking. Although the reception informed us this is a known issue, they do not track the vehicles (not taking plate numbers).

We enjoyed our stay overall. The rooms were acceptable and the location was excellent, especially for the price we paid. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. There was also a food basket for breakfast that was very convenient.

Unfortunately, our only negative experience was with one cleaning staff member. After my wife asked her for help opening our door while she was cleaning the room next to ours, the interaction was unpleasant. Later, despite leaving a “make up my room” sign on the door, our room was not cleaned. We noticed the sign had been flipped to “do not disturb,” which we are confident was done intentionally so the room wouldn’t be serviced.

This was a disappointing and unnecessary experience, but aside from this incident, the hotel itself met our expectations and was good value for the money.

Not great

Room had weird layout, was old and needed some serious renovations. We were a bit underwhelmed upon our arrival since we had paid for a suite, so we asked for a new room… In this new room, there was such a strong smell (humidity or something) and the noise from neighbours kept us up all night. On our final day, we asked to switch room again so we could sleep. But this new room was filled with lady bugs. I know it’s the season, but how could they get in the room with sealed windows… I tried to find where they came from and emptied out a box of tissue just trying to get as many as I could. They kept coming so we finally gave up and decided to leave. The staff was very comprehensive and agreed to a refund (thanks). Oh and the beach was closed… It was supposed to be open though, so that’s that.

As an American traveling for a night into this part of Canada we were treated terrible for not knowing French. Went to check in and they “couldn’t find our reservation” had papers printed for every reservation and skipped over ours multiple times until mysteriously it was found. After checking in we wanted to check out the beach area across the street and they had given us keycards but we could not find any entrance that used them and they did not explain how to get into it at all. As we turned our keys in the next day we were laughed at for not speaking French by the reception. Other than the people interaction being terrible the room was nice and no issues with the place itself just do not recommend going there as an American especially if you do not speak French.

The potential here is amazing (location) to create an outstanding boutique hotel, but the property is clearly struggling with operations and operational costs. An unexperienced kid (like 15) served us but we overheard that was because they were short staffed. Only 3 outdoor jacuzzis were operational and all were occupied so we didn't get the use them. The amenities are either far past their prime or broken and there were many items out of place in the common areas - like a random filing cabinet by the already-oddly-located indoor jacuzzi, their document storage armoire in the little sitting room, random furniture in open spaces. Nothing bad, just...odd. Some TLC and a handyman would do wonders in this place!
