I had a wonderful experience at Latroupe Prado. The location is unbeatable, perfectly situated for exploring the museums, Parque El Prado, and the heart of Madrid. The design of the hotel is modern and welcoming, striking a great balance between a social atmosphere and a quality hotel stay. On arrival, we were not greeted despite us talking to the person. Apparently she was in training but it was very unwelcoming. She didn’t reply when we said hello or gracias. She just sat there. The other guy was showing her how to enter our check in details and it was incredibly slow check in. She was unfriendly and seemed useless.

Great location and price for our Madrid stay. Missing a few amenities of a traditional hotel, so be prepared for no microwave or fridge or facial tissue. The breakfast was ok, no hot options, but a decent selection of cold food items, bread, ham, cheese, cereal, pastries, juice, coffee, milk, yogurt, and probably a few other things I'm forgetting.

Overall, an okay hotel. However, I strongly doubt that the room and building were originally designed to function as a hotel. There is no peephole in the door, which feels unsafe, and many details throughout the property are not very convenient. Such as no cups in the room, no refrigerators or good size table, very limited towel provided, etc. It may be suitable for young travelers, but it is not very convenient for families or comparable to more established hotel services.

this is a great option, even for a family of 4. it is relative cheap - it is a hostel anyway, but it is clean, well maintained and amazingly quite considering it is in a business area. the door, wall and window are super-well insulated so we did not hear anything over 2 nights stay over here. it is conveniently located and walking distance to petro musem and other sight-seeing places.

This was the first time we stayed in a Hostel and it was great! We ended up staying in a room that was originally for 4, but we had it for ourselves, a couple. It was ample and even better than the previous hotel room that we had stayed at in Madrid. We grabbed a bite in the restaurant in the first floor and the food was delicious. It was quiet. We had a balcony view and it was great. This hostel is right next to the train station so it was super easy to catch our train to Seville. We recommend it!

I really liked most everything about Latroupe Prado! The facilities were very clean, the staff very accommodating and helpful, and my room very comfortable. It would be nice to have paper towels next to en-suite sink to clean around sink area when finished. I will be returning to stay at Latroupe Prado within next 6 weeks!

Hostel 比預期中好，職員有禮，房跟訂房時相片是一樣，只時清潔房間職員忘了每天幫我們清潔垃圾，跟前臺職員說後，職員立即幫我們解決了。另外，如果有張大一點的桌子更好。酒店超級方便，去火車站，坐機場巴士或 Metro 最多只是 10分鐘路程。下次一定會再來住。

Just needed a safe, clean, convenient bed for the night before flying out. This location was a very easy walk from Atocha with luggage. There is a locker under the bed but you should bring your own lock if you want to. I used a 4 bed female only. We shared a shower/toilet/sink. There are paid lockers onsite if you need them outside of sleeping hours. I slept fine because I brought earplugs and a face masks. My bunkmates were polite and quiet. But there were loud guys in the hall after 11pm for. awhile. The nature of a hosel!

The basics were OK: the room is clean, there is no noise from the street or other rooms, the room is not cramped, the toilet and shower work, and the door locks well. Please note that we had the most expensive room in the whole hotel. On the negative side, multiple points: the room is spartan, no tv(!!!!), no hair dryer, no safe, no fridge or mini bar, no Kleenex, no glasses (even in the washroom - zero glass). that's for the room. Long and gray corridors. The two elevators: functional but blatantly insufficient for the number of rooms. But the worst clearly is the SERVICE, or rather the absence of it. In four days of entering and leaving the hotel at various times, we received the sum total of one hello and one smile (by the same person at the same time). Otherwise, clearly no one among the staff feigns the least interest in our presence. Same \"customer approach\" for the breakfast room where clearly we clients were an annoyance. Lastly, the breakfast itself had a depressing selection and so-so quality. In other words, not only won't we ever return but we'll actively deter friends and family as well. When paying more than $450 a night, one expects some minimal consideration and perks.

A very basic room. Quiet, but spartan- no chair, no TV, no kleenex, no bar soap, no telephone. Husband found rat hair in his breakfast croissant. Good place for travelers in their 20s and 30s to meet- they have a Meet and Greet nightly which was well attended. Close to major museums and the train station.

I’m an art historian that studies Dutch art, so it was very important for me to be close by to both the Reina Sofia and the Prado- this hotel was literally perfect! Of course it’s great to be close to both museums, but it’s also close to all of the transit I needed to access. Rooms are cute and clean, laundry works great, and the restaurant was wonderful as well. I strongly recommend the patatas bravas and the cheesecake!

The place is very nice, incredibly well located, rooms are confortable, clean and with a attractive design. Windows and balconies have a great view to the streets. The main gate to enter the hostel is very small and narrow and have stairs which makes it complicated for baby cars or wheelchairs. Some of the persons working for the Hostel are very kind, other persons not very kind or helpful at all

Fabulous location… regional train and bus to airport walking distance and sights close by! All the amenities you could want too!
We had the attic private room with private bathroom which was small but beautiful and definitely nothing like a backpackers!

Loved how nice the staff is and the beds are comfortable. Buffet breakfast offered at 10 euros is worth it and delicious. The only thing that was a bit annoying was when one showered water would leak on to flore. The design is not the best but that’s not the staff fault. I would def book again.

Definitely will stay here again super convenient for those taking the train the next morning. Nice coffee shop downstairs next-door for breakfast . Definitely would recommend.

My family had a great stay. Very clean and tidy room. Clean, comfy beds. Spacious room for a family of 4 with bunk beds. Reception and cafe was very lively and had a lovely atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and accommodating especially Christine who took care of our requests.
