You Woukd think that the owners could:
1. Provide coffee cups.
2. Provide two extra pillows per bed.
3. Provide a usable sink. This one is ridiculous.
4. Provide a shelf or counter with the sink in the bathroom.

Cozy stay in Madrid
We stayed here in Madrid for a few nights. It was definitely the smallest room we have stayed in. It felt a bit tight, however we did not pack the lightest and it is as advertised, we just weren’t used to it. We did not spend a lot of time in the room though so it was perfect and served its purpose. The staff was super friendly, the check in was very easy, room was very clean. it’s close to the train station , but not a ton to do in the area. We took early trains so it was a good spot for us. We were happy with the stay and the value , it met our expectations.

This property is too small . The price is much more than what it’s should be. It’s not like hotel it’s more like an apartment. There are about 10 guests rooms in the unit of the building.you feel tight both hallway and inside of the room. But the staff is nice and location is close to the train station.

More advance information on how to get to the front desk - in English - would have been a bit more helpful, although if you follow the step by step posted directions, you get there. This is a good budget option an easy walk from the train station (again, instructions on how to exit atocha station would have helped) and to the R. Sophia museum. Perfect for a one night stay accessing the airport by train.

All in all a very good experience. Close to the train station, and very walkable to center. The receptionist was very nice and helpful. English friendly. Comfortable bed! Small room, bathroom for sure and the shower was a bit finicky but not a deal breaker (super common when traveling) if you have a lot of bags you will be cramped. We didn't so all good.

I don't like the current trend of hostels only being staffed from 0900-1700 and if you arrive outside those times you have to try to check-in online using your phone which is often times impossible.

Loved the hostel. Good location close to the train station. The room was sparkling clean, small but arranged well. Plenty of space for my daughter and me. We loved that it is brand new and modern. Safety: the main door is always closed but the in-room safe didn't work. Soundproofing: terrible--I could hear every single sound in the hostal despite being in the room at the end of the hallway. If the soundproofing were great, then I would have rated this 8.5/10.

The CC Atocha is a good place for a one night stay. We stayed there so we could use the Atocha transportation center to get to the airport the next morning. The rooms are clean but very small and I wouldn't want to stay there for 3 or 4 nights. They don't have restaurant facilities and don't offer breakfast.

I have stayed at the hostel twice and will be returning for a third time in May. It is quiet compared to most hostels. The rooms are a bit dated but are clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great, a couple of minutes walk from Atocha train station, Reina Sofia museum, and Retiro Park with the impressive Palacio de Cristal. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. Good local food is available near the hostel as well as Mcdonalds, KFC, 24hr Burger king and small shops that stay open into the early hours. It doesn't take long to walk into the centre of Madrid or you can take the underground which is close by.
