La habitacion estaba bien, lo unico es que te dan 2 codigos para accesar a 2 puertas y otro codigo para la habitacion. Aceptable el dormitorio sin servicio de limpieza la tarifa. Es un hostal en el cual alguien ingreso y extrajo una compra del sitio oficial del Real Madrid. No volveria a hospedarme aqui, por tema de seguridad.

Walking distance to museum Prada. Walking distance from Atocha train station. Walking distance to eateries and easy pick up and drop off by taxis. Safe, secure and nice views from the terrace. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean. Appreciated the coffee station on the level below. Would stay here again.

Very clean and secure. Somewhat difficult to find. Only found it by accident as we were walking up and down streets. There was no staff to interact with, strictly done via iPhone and the sending of codes to open the doors. Could have used a bigger bed, 6’7” and 6’ couple. Liked its closeness to the main train station in Madrid.

Two friends and I booked rooms at the same time, and the prices were about the same, but my room was particularly small. There were several steps outside the bathroom door, and I almost fell when I went out after showering the first night.

Great stay! The room was very comfortable, spacious, and clean, with all the necessary amenities. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was superb, I don't think you can find a better spot for the quality and price. It is close to museums, El Retiro Park, and tons of bars and restaurants. There are metro and bus stations very close by, but you can pretty much walk anywhere.

The only downside is that the walls are a little thin, so you can hear other guests from your room, but it’s nothing to complain about. The thick double-glazed windows work wonders, so there was no street noise at all. Slept like a rock during my stay.

We got a room at the back which is quiet and it's clean. Also, we arrived before the check-in time and luckily our room is ready. The room is not very big and we need to go down 2 steps from the bathroom to the bedroom, which I don't like. I always have to pay attention in order not to miss those steps especially at night. Otherwise, we have no complain about the room.

We don’t usually book B&B type guesthouses. However UMA was very good for this type of accommodation. Room was relatively spacious as far as Madrid goes. Bathroom was clean and well organized. Beds were comfortable. The area is busy and noisy into the night, but it did not bother me.

Sadly I don't think we will stay at this property again solely because the room had no ventilation and as a result we couldn't use the air conditioning.

When we arrived the rug under the air con was sopping wet, and during the night so much water dripped onto the sofa bed from the unit that it soaked through the duvet and woke us up. We asked for this to be fixed but were told that it was 'just condensation'. While this might have been true, it was an excessive amount of water so we could not use the aircon on the second night. This led to our room smelling musty and made it difficult to sleep on the second night even though the weather was relatively cool.

On the plus side, these suites are in a great location close to Atocha train station and the museum quarter. There are loads of great places to eat and drink nearby and the area felt safe. The rooms are attractively decorated and well equipped, with free tea and coffee and a fridge. The staff are friendly. They have convenient lockers for luggage storage, thought this would have been better if it had been available before check in as well as after check out.

In summary, then, we would have liked to come again, but because we always visit Madrid in summer I don't think we could take the risk of faulty air con again. In a city as hot as Madrid in August, a well ventilated room with working air con was really non-negotiable for us.

Everything about our stay at Uma Suites Atocha was excellent. The accommodation was fresh and clean located in a convenient part of the city, 10 mins away from the train station, restaurants, cafes and souvenirs shops, and 15 mins from the main square! Perfect!

Well located near botanical Gardens and Atocha station and metro. Plenty of eating options. Safe, if you walk back a couple of streets, has more quiet neighbourhood areas and cafes. Interesting system of codes to access hotel and rooms, without key or key card. Lift from street level to each floor. For my room had to climb 3 steps up from lift level then as sunken bedroom had to descend 3 steps when walk in to my hotel room. Kettle and small fridge in room handy. Great water pressure and very comfortable bed. Air con worked well. Can open windows for air if preferred. Double glazing present so noise from outside wasn't bothersome.

The elevator did not work we must carry our luggages by stairs from 4th floor to zero floor. This is a terrible experience. And did not have any staff help you and without any notification. It absolutely should be deleted from your list.

The only thing we were disappointed with was during our 7 night stay there was no towel changing ( unable to wash them as there was no facility to do so). - don’t think this was good enough - ok there was no housekeeping but surely clean towels should have been offered at least every 2 or 3 days

Overall it was good. However the stairs in my room post a hazardous condition. You don't expect the stairs built so close to the entrance of the bath room. I almost fell three times in the first night. My wife actually fell on the floor. Luckily, she was OK. Otherwise, our whole vacation would be ruined. I would not recommend this property for seniors at all.

This is not a hotel. It should be marketed as an Airbnb. If you're ok with no front desk, no one to call with questions / problems, last minute emailed instructions for building entry, digital code room access, isolated hallways, confusing entry areas, etc - then this is the place for you. The room itself is small (like most of European hotel rooms), but clean. No maid service.

We have stayed in guesthouse before, but they were never part of an apartment complex. You had to enter three codes just to enter your room. There is no space in the room for lugguage and clothing. They offer a few hangers, that are paper and absolutly aweful to use. The place to hand your few items is right above the tea kettle, which makes no sense! The bathroom was spacious and well lit, but you would run out of hot water if showing around 7 - 9 pm. They did not offer any clean towels during a 5 day stay. They also say they offer coffee/tea in the room. There was only enough for 1 day. If you know your guests are there for 5 days, give them ample supplies. I had to go and buy toilet paper to get us through our stay.

We appreciated our stay. The bed was large (king sz) and comfortable. The shutters darkened the room perfectly. The double glass doors blocked out all of the street noise. The bathroom was very functional.
Suggest that a night-light in the bathroom might be useful. Thank you.

It's a great place, excellent location and the staff is friendly. They contact you by email and WhatsApp, sometimes the link doesn't work but it's ok, at the property they fix it for you. It's close to everything, they have coffee, tea, lockers if you need to safe your baggage while they are cleaning the room. The price is acceptable. I'll come back for sure and I will share with friends and family their information.

Based in a block of apartments, the common areas are well-kept if traditional looking, but once you get into the suites themselves, it's like stepping forward in time, in terms of decor.

The location is great for the main train station, most places are walkable and if you don't fancy that, the metro is nearby.

For the price, the room is a little small but has decent shower space, kettle and fridge. No place to sit though except for some stairs. Limited place to hang clothes too. Very clean and quiet. A bit far from the main attractions but very close to the main train station.
