I found the breakfast to be very satisfying with ample options for everyone. The room was in great condition considering the age of the original structure. The only thing that didn’t rate outstanding to me was the comfort of the sheets, they were rougher than I prefer.

Breakfast was fabulous. I had room 7 with balcony view, only 8 rooms on property. Be aware that Old Town Chania is pedestrian only, so must carry your own luggage for about 10 minutes on cobblestones. There is no elevator, upon checkin there is staff to carry luggage upstairs, but no one to assist upon checkout.

So let me start by saying we communicated with this hotel a handful of times and it’s a little bit frustrating that there wasn’t anyone there to assist us upon check-in with our luggage. The hotel is in old town and so we had walk our large bags through the narrow streets and down and upstairs. Upon arriving to the hotel, they do not have an elevator and a small young lady working at the front desk so once again, being on the third floor, you have to walk your luggage up three flights of stairs to your room. Upon checking out, we asked if someone could help us in. They informed us that they only have one person that does that and they have six properties they manage so they did not know if he’d be able to help us bring our luggage down. obviously there’s nothing they can do about the rules in old town and not being able to have a car and that portion of it, but then to also not have an elevator and not have someone there to help people when they’re checking in to get their luggage in their rooms and upstairs is odd to me. They even have a winding staircase that makes it very difficult and to meet dangerous to be caring luggage up. We also did not realize how challenging it would be to find parking the hotel made it seem like it would be very easy. It was not. And once again, having to get your luggage from your vehicle to the hotel was also very challenging. I will say thatAC works extremely well though, and that was the absolute best part.

I had a really nice stay. The room itself had the most amazing view and lovely balcony and was a good size. The only downside was the thin walls - but I just slept with earplugs in. Bed was a bit softer than what I like, but that’s just personal preference. Location was perfect for exploring the old town and so many great places to eat nearby. Breakfast was a really good selection and all the staff were really friendly. I would stay again for the view alone as I am sure all the old buildings struggle noise wise.

Our stay at Elia Zampeliou Hotel in Chania's Venetian Harbor was a delight! Our room was clean, well-appointed and comfortable, with a picture-perfect view of the Harbor. The staff were friendly and professional and the price was extremely reasonable considering it also included a delicious and abundant breakfast of Greek pastries, breads and yogurts. We enjoyed exploring the narrow and colorful alleyways in this ancient part of town. The only down side was that we weren't able to stay longer. We would definitely return to Elia Zampeliou Hotel and recommend it highly.

Getting to the hotel with our bags was a little challenging since this hotel is in the harbour where cars are not allowed; but if you find parking near one of the options they send, you will just walk like 5-7 minutes. But, I will say it was totally worth it. The Venetian Harbour is so unique, you have to stay in it and explore every little street. We enjoyed our stay!

So lovely, best breakfast we had on the trip. Rooms were wonderful, very convenient for walking. Only downside was parking as that is a difficult thing in Chania but to be able to wake up so close to the harbor and grab pictures first thing in the morning before all the people got there was perfect.

Located right on the water in the old port and in the heart of the old city, this hotel is in perfect walking distance to many, many shops and restaurants. The closest organized beach was a 10 minute walk away. (Beach towel provided upon request at hotel) The staff were really fantastic. They were all very friendly and attentive which made the whole experience wonderful. My room did not have a sea view but there is a sweet little terrace on the third floor overlooking the harbour with view of the lighthouse. If you are renting a car, the parking is a little challenging as you cannot park in the old city. But if you’re patient you’ll find a spot. It’s about a 10 minute walk from any of the parking areas to the hotel. Overall was extremely happy with choosing to stay at this hotel. Highly recommend.

Hotel was great. We had a sea view with balcony and it was fabulous. Staff were really helpful. Breakfast is in another Aria hotel which is a 1 minute walk away. Hotel location is great - right on the harbor front and near all the lovely restaurants. Room was big, nice bed, air con, coffee machine. Bathroom quite small, but that was OK. Highly recommend Chania and this hotel. For the price paid. it's a much better option than some of the other sea front boutique hotels!

Amazing character, modern conveniences, great pric
This is a very cute hotel right in the heart of Chania. Room is like a redone apartment from 100 years ago. Character and charm off the charts with the old sink and cooking area with exposed and plastered stone walls. The bath is totally current, granite, glass shower, rainforest shower. I would recommend these rooms vs. the ones with views, much more character. You can go top to the roof if you want a view! Although the room is above the busy shopping area the quality windows and shutters close out all light and noise. Both of the young men that were at the front desk were kind and helpful with beach and restaurant recommendations. Five stars, wish I had their names.

I would DEFINITELY stay here again!!! This hotel is located right in the middle of EVERYTHING in Old Town, shopping, dining, drinks, scenic views etc. All the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was a great selection and was located in one of the sister hotels less than a block away. Just know there are no cars allowed to drive through old town, so you can get dropped as close as they can and I had to walk about 10 minutes with all my luggage and thank god my room was on the 1st floor. No elevators. Again, loved my stay and would recommend this place for sure.

I really like this hotel. I was in room one which does not have a port view- but the room was beautiful with elements of the Venetian architecture still intact. Even though I didn't have the water view, there was a roof top area that has a beautiful view of the port and I was able to spend some time there. The included breakfast was great and the staff at the breakfast location were very friendly as was the staff at the hotel- they were very helpful without exception. I may try to get a port-view room next time. My only suggestion is having USB ports in the room for charging.
