Our bedroom smoke detector kept beeping because of low battery power. Desk staff promised both days they would send a maintenance person. They never sent someone. Hard to sleep with a beep every two minutes two days straight above our bed.

We were welcomed in by a friendly member of staff who spoke good english. The check in process could have been a little more efficient, but overall it was easy. There were extra taxes to pay on arrival which were unexpected but nothing too expensive.

The apartment we rented was perfect size for our family of 5 with 3 separate sleeping places. Each room was well equipped and spacious and clean. The location was great for walking around the city.

Everything was just fantastic! I highly suggest you stay here. The location is exceptionally convenient and extremely clean, and the staff is invaluable and kind. It is just one block away to the left of the Monaco boundaries, and the Grand Casino and Mall are a very few blocks away!

Great location just a 10 min walk from the Casino area. Roof top pool is superb. If coming by car, it can be tricky to find a spot to pull in to check in, so be ready for one person to jump out while you go round the block. The hotel has linked parking deal at a discounted rate once you check in, but this is 1.9m height limit so no good if you have a roof box. There is parking at Saint Charles which can take roof box and is literally 5 min walk away.

We have visited this aparthotel every year for the last 13 years (except during covid) and have never had a problem with anything. This year the air conditioning was not working properly in half of the hotel, or so we were told after several days. We asked to have it looked at/repaired or to be moved to another room, as my fiancé has a heart condition and was actually struggling to breathe in the heat/humidity inside, we were told nothing could be done. We doubted this and felt we were being 'fobbed off' however, as even the corridor was cooler!! We are exceptionally disappointed and will not be recommending this property anymore.

room with NO air conditioning, most likely infected with molds, management pretending to be friendly BUT TOTALY uncooperative, ignoring repeat request to change room , when in the one we stayed temperature reached 27 degrees Celsius. overall the experience were terrible, even though, all refusal done with the smile... one thing working for this hotel is location and maybe price, beside, do no go there especially if the days are hot...

Good customer service but hotel not as expected

We arrived expecting one bed and one sofa bed, we were two adults two small kids.

The first room we were given the sofa bed mattress was really dirty, I assume just a housekeeping mistake but it was gross. They promptly moved our room and gave us a bigger room. But the AC was broken in the whole hotel it was extremely hot and the only way to sleep was with the windows wide open which was loud and made it really difficult to sleep. We wanted to leave as it just wasn't a good experience and the kids could either not sleep as they were too hot or there was too much road noise.

At first they were a little difficult but once the manager understood the situation properly they were really quick refunded us the nights we didnt end up staying so we could go somewhere else.

Although the trip wasnt as hoped and the place had quite a few problems the team at the hotel handled the situation well.

We generally enjoyed our stay. We had a couple of issues - check in was very slow as noone was on reception on arrival. The room was lovely and clean and a good size. The pool shut quite early so we could only use it for 30 minutes before it was due to close and the water was not very clean or clear. A dog had been left in the apartment next to ours from 7pm to 1am - which barked constantly. The staff were lovely and let us have a very late check out.

While the room itself was fine, I received a phone call the morning that I was checking in saying I had been \"upgraded,\" but they failed to mention that my upgrade was in a different, older building that was farther from the where I wanted to be. This hotel was not good at all. If I could give 0 stars I would. Starting off with the staff, they were rude the whole time. They charged us for breakfast when we very clearly asked the worker if it costs money and she said no! 60€ for a below average breakfast was not it. Everywhere in the hotel smelled weird, the halls and elevator always had a nasty smell and even our towels didn’t smell clean. The ac barely works. And the pool also is not what it looks like in the pictures. It’s very dirty and seems like it is not cleaned correctly. I would highly recommend you to avoid staying here!!!!

I booked this hotel over six months ago. After training into Monaco from Nice we realized it was very difficult to find taxis and Ubers to get us to our hotel. We walked 30 minutes along the narrow and steep streets of Monaco with our suitcases. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff informed us they did not have any room for us. They asked if we received the email they sent only an hour ago with the information regarding room availability. The staff said we will have to stay at their other location all the way back next to the train station we just came from. After asking for a taxi over to the other hotel, staff refused to call one. Long story short, we arrived at the other hotel dripping in sweat with hurting bodies and feet from the wall. The staff at Aparthotel didn’t do anything to help this very poorly handled situation. Me and my family are very disappointed and disgusted with what happened to us. Due to not getting any help nor compensation, I will not being staying at any Aparthotel location and will let everyone I know what happened to me.

The YOUNG gentleman who checked me in on 5/29 at 8pm was not helpful. I drove there so I had to park in the public parking garage. He gave me no instructions at all. He did not offer for me to leave my bags, so I had to lug my bags from the car. When I came back to the hotel, I had found that due to his lack of instruction. I parked in the wrong area. There’s specific parking for the hotel, and he did not tell me that. It was obvious he could not care less because he was just getting off his shift and wanted to rush. The next gentleman was much more helpful an older late 40s early 50s gentlemen.

This hotel was in a good location. It was ~5 minutes to walk to the Monte Carlo. There is a nice bakery and market just a minute walk.

Room was surprisingly spacious with a sitting/kitchen area.

Instructions for check out are to (1) take your trash out to the receptacle on the street, (2) put all towels in the bathroom, and (3) open the windows. I think there were a few flies in the room due to (3).

Overall would recommend the hotel for those looking to be close to the Monte Carlo.

Hotel moved us to cheaper sister hotel last minute

My family of 4 and I were really excited to stay at the Aparthotel Adagio Monaco Palais Josephine however we were contacted the morning of our check in date by the hotel reception saying that there had been some technical issues, and that we would need to instead stay at their sister hotel, the Aparthotel Adagio Monte Cristo. We agreed (considering there wasn't much else we could do) however we pointed out the main reason we had booked the Palais Josephine was for the rooftop pool, which the Monte Cristo alternate hotel did not have. We were assured we could still use the pool at the Josephine, although it was a 15-minute walk away. We checked in later that day at the Monte Cristo, which was fine however located in a very residential area far from the restaurants and the marina that we had wanted to be closer to. The next day, we did visit the Josephine in order to visit their pool, and we saw the hotel was located in precisely the area we had wanted, with bars, cafes, and a bakery and street market right at the ground floor. Very disappointing considering we had no say in being moved to the 2nd rate Monte Cristo location. What was also very upsetting about this experience was that we had paid more for our room at the Josephine (I reviewed the Monte Cristo during the booking process, which was about EUR 40 cheaper per night than the Josephine) however we were not offered any kind of compensation for the reduction in value of our booking, which I will now be requesting.

Mould and mildew (moisissures) infested throughout, this property should be closed for Health and Safety reasons. They must be closed by any Health inspection. The air in corridors is unbreathable for children and the asthma sufferers, the smell of mould is suffocating. The rooms closer to the lifts have better air but are infested with flies that multiply. They bite and cause large painful swelling bites all over. Children suffer the worst. The rooms are very dirty. The toilets flush so hard that you must close them before you flush, then you reopen and clean the seat and lid. Black mould surrounds air conditioning vents. Dirt on the floor and between floor tiles looks years old. The coffee machine is in the photographs, but there is no electric plug in the kitchen.

We liked this hotel and would stay here again. Location was great, quiet on Sundays and in the evenings. Not many tourists around in August which was great. WiFi was a bit slow in the room, it was fast in the lobby however. Cleaning is once a week which worked well for us as we stayed in the room some mornings to get on with work. Reception is not 24 hour but that isn’t an issue as it’s easy to get in at night (but still safe). Tip for travelling in the area, if you want to use Uber, it’s banned in Monaco. However, if you walk into France a little bit (Beausoleil area), you can order an Uber from the main road. We did this to get to the airport on the way back. A taxi is around €100 and an Uber cost us €54.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment for a family of 4. We found the staff very helpful at all times. We were allowed to check in early, and to leave cases there on our last day.
The apartment was fairly well equipped and the microwave and hob fine for basic food preparation.
There is an artisan baker just below the hotel, and a reasonably priced small supermarket a few metres away.
In these days of electrical gadgets we often had to sacrifice light to unplug lamps to charge phones.
The double bedroom was partitioned off the lounge. Once the obscure glass sliding doors were closed there was only borrowed light, and the bedroom had to be as light or dark as the lounge. It was ok for us but the apartment states it can cater for 6, which I think would be uncomfortable, especially as there is only comfortable seating for 3.
The bathroom was large, the hot water was plentiful, the shower changed temperature without warning sometimes. The WC was separate.
The major downside to the place was noise.
It is in a central location, with benefits of shops etc nearby, and we didn’t expect it to be quiet. Unfortunately our room was at a corner of the hotel and had a busy road, with a hill and a pedestrian crossing (many scooters) one side and a street market and MAJOR building works the other. It was warm but impossible to open the windows. Even with them closed were were woken before 6 every morning, and sometimes after 11.00pm by bin lorries. Ask for a room away from the market side!

Convenient central location. Daily market as well as grocery store, restaurants, bakery just downstairs. Ten minute walk to train station that connects to Nice, Cannes, Italy, etc...At Monaco border and five minutes walk to the famous Casino. We had a nice outdoor balcony facing the daily market but it can get noisy 4am onwards when the market gets set up and comes alive. The only mar to this stay was we had the front desk prebook a taxi to take us from hotel to Nice airport on our last day but the taxi never showed up.

The aparthotel is conveniently located about 10 minutes from the Monte Carlo casino. There are plenty of lovely patisseries and boulangeries close by and a flower/fruit/vegetable market next door. The rooms are quite basic, but with ample supplies. We upgraded to a larger room with a double bedroom and bunkbeds, which was spacious enough. The swimming pool area on the roof is quite large with lovely views across the Monaco skyline. The cost of the rooms was very reasonable compared to some of the properties in the area.

This was a great value. Very clean and spacious studio with everything I needed - even a small kitchenette. The receptionist, Charlotte, was really helpful. I appreciated the early check in and her assistance with directions/travel information for the town I wanted to visit. The breakfast was a nice addition. The room did not have air-conditioning (not a problem for this time of year) and the mattress, although it appeared to be in good condition, was uncomfortable and too hard for my liking. The studio is very basic but good value. The breakfast was also good value for the price paid and items received. Quite a lot of noise from the street during the day but okay at night.

Avoid all Aparthotels if you can!!

Initially booked 2 apartments at Aparthotel Adagio Monte Cristo, they cancelled our booking without telling anyone (reason being unable to charge our card, but its a fully flexible booking, why they trying to charge the card for?! And our card is chip n pin of course it will decline! Dumb!) I found out 3days before our trip as I called for local travel info and told both apartments been cancelled!! Now they are fully booked and refuse to honour our booking! Rang Expedia they took on the responsibility and rebooked us at this Aparthotel Monaco Josephine at double the price, but Experia agreed to refund the difference (fair enough). Guess what, upon arrival our nightmare starts, I was told ONLY 1 apartment is booked for us, NOT 2. The young poor receptionist bless him trying to sort it out, the only option is to give us another apartment at their sister hotel Aparthotel Monte Cristo! Aren't they fully booked?? OMG, these guys have no idea what they are doing. So my family was split up to 2 different location during our entire stay in Monte Carlo. It was the worst ever holiday I have ever been. To top it up, when we arrived in Monte Cristo, the apartment given to us, it was absolutely stinks of sewage or damp, and that is the last one left so either take it or leave it! Bear in mind by this time it was late at night, I was forced to stay. If for any reason you ever need to book an apartment, please please please DO NOT book Aparthotels!!!!

Nice place. Great views from rooftop. Convenient to everything. Unfortunately, some guests need to control their children in pool area.

Monaco a City of great Class, a must see !!!

Great Location in a beautiful city. Parking very convenient as well. Lot of activity close by, great vibe.
We love the city, the pool a little bit windy and cold but great view.

Great stay. Friendly staff, really good location for Monaco. Would be great for a family stay for GP week. Well equipped room with comfortable bed. Easy to find from Monte Carlo train station. Can't fault anything.

The bonus of my stay at this hotel was that the staff we're very friendly and helpful, can't thank them enough! . Not a plush hotel basic clean and comfortable! I would stay there again !!

Location good but hotel not

Couldn't get room til gone 5pm, despite arriving before 12. Smell not good outside room (like sick) and inside room not great. Tables sticky. Very very basic, not as pictured on website.
Very very very disappointed with apartment Only plus side is that it was close to Monaco Center.
