The hotel is beautiful, and the junior suite was amazing, but unfortunately most of the hotel felt off limits to guests. There is car noise from outside for our sea view room. The breakfast is a long winding walk to a far corner of the hotel in a makeshift greenhouse. The lobby bar and coffee shop is in the corridors of the lobby. Probably the best parts of this beautiful building are only open to the Michelin star restaurants.

The staff and level of attention to detail was excellent. The room we were assigned to (#770) had problems with the bathroom electrical short circuiting. Immediately we were moved to a room #768, which was a better and larger room. Additionally, we were sent a hand written note and along with a fruit bowl and gifts apologizing for the inconvenience.
This, coupled with outstanding service, made our stay at Hotel Hermitage a memorable one.

I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was beautiful. My room had a view of the harbor from both balconies. I want to thank Marcel at the front desk for giving me a tour of the property when I checked in. The restaurant Pavyllion was amazing. The only improvement that can be made is the bathrooms need a little renovation/upgrade. Housekeeping was the best, discreet and quiet. No commotion in the hallway, which is excellent.

Opulence and Comfort in Monte Carlo
We weren't sure where to stay in Monaco as we had never been to the area, but after looking into options and reading the great reviews we opted for Hotel Hermitage. We could not have been more pleased. The hotel is absolutely stunning - with its breathtaking architecture and opulent decor. Our room was spacious, comfortable, elegant, and remarkably quiet. The bathroom was beautiful, clean, and well-appointed. The lovely patio was a wonderful place to relax on chaise lounges. The location is perfect as we were steps away from the famous Monte Carlo casino, tons of shopping and eating options, and the beautiful marina with all of the yachts. I used the spa, which was quite busy but beautiful and modern. We also ate at the Michelin-starred restaurant Pavyllon and had one of the best meals we have had in recent years with perhaps the best views we have ever had at a restaurant. I highly recommend the hotel!

Very helpful staff like Alicia at the front desk and a person with eyeglasses at the bell captain desk across from the registration desk (did not get the name). Both went above and beyond and all were polite. The front doormen were not always helpful when we asked for a cab or missed the shuttle- it wasn’t their problem.
The room was nicely adorned and updated and was very clean. Cleaning staff were pleasant and meticulous. Breakfast in the room was not what was expected eg fruit platter consisted of a unripe big nectarine and a ripe kiwi, both whole on a bread plate! Overall a nice hotel, nice staff for the most part. At the outside sitting area we were given literally an ultimatum to go inside because they need the table for VIP guests. Rest of the guests at the moment were given substitute table or left to stay. The hotel was great, right in the centre of the action for the Monaco Historic Grand Prix.
Fantastic room overlooking part of the circuit.
Rooms were clean but are probably getting close to needing a refurbishment. Carpets a little grubby looking.

The building was amazing. Cleanliness throughout fantastic and pool area was fab. Disappointed there wasn't a kettle or coffee maker in the room. This is our 5th stay but will wait for the building work in Monaco to be completed before we return as far too many cranes and scaffolding everwhere we went.

Still a beautiful hotel to stay, we had a great time. They have to improve their WiFi and charging station in the rooms and also the drapes in our room were old and looked dirty and dated. They will text me once the room is ready. Waited till 2pm, but didnt receive a call. Asked the front desk if the room is ready, and the key was already prepared at the front desk. I told them that I was supposed to be notified once the room got ready, but they did not provide me with any explanation.
Room: room was great except that the towel mat in the restroom was extremely smelly. I paid $700+ on this room, and this is not what I deserve.
Check out: I needed a cab to catch my train at 1:50pm. I asked for the cab at 1pm. Waited for 15 minutes. Cab wasn’t there. I asked the reception again, and they said there is a traffic. I waited for another 5 mins, but cab wasn’t there. I found it bizarre that there is a traffic because according to my experience for past few days in Monte Carlo, there seemed to be zero traffic. I told the bellboy again if the cab is coming in 5 mins, because if not, I cannot afford to lose any more time. I said “when is the cab arriving? If it doesnt come in 5 minutes, I need to leave now”. He said “it usually arrives now.” I waited for another 5 mins, but the cab wasn’t there. At 1:30, i was upset by the attitude of the staff members’ not giving any attention to me, I said “I will just walk.” I was shocked when all they said was “are you sure?”. What do you mean? I waited 30+mins on the cab and I am not okay. But I have no other choice because you did not care about me making it to the station on time.
