The properties was awful. Not clean there were smell. In breakfast the plate was dirty the food not fresh. The room was cold and too much sound from outside because the windows was not double. I am not recommending it at all.

I don't recommend staying at this hotel based on my recent experience: I originally booked for 7 nights but prior to going to the hotel I contacted Hotels.com and requested a change to 5 nights. I also called the hotel directly and talked to the reservation manager and he assured me that there would not be any problem and he could change the reservation. However, after I stayed and on my day of check out the resevation manager claimed that he should have received an email from Hotels.com. That was first time I heard that since when I had called him before arrival he never mentioned that. He basically lied to me and when I tried to explain to him that I had talked to him on the phone he became mean and disrespectful, dismissing me. I don't recommend staying at this hotel

The location of the hotel is excellent, overlooking the Bosphorus and close to the old city ,also has easy accessibility to public transport. The staff members were friendly and helped secure a taxi to the airport. The room was clean ,although sometimes there was an unpleasant odour(sewage smell ) from the bathroom. The overall stay was pleasing and would definitely stay in that hotel again

My elderly parents have stayed in at least 10 different hotels during their visits to Istanbul. This has been their favorite hotel so far. They loved the location, and it was easy for them to walk around the block for food and shopping. They also enjoyed the city and sea views.

booked a room with sea view for 2 days. At the check-in they did not know about the reservation. I had to wait 30 min then they gave me a room with no view and a nasty smell of sewage coming from the shower drain. I asked to fix it or to change my room, but nothing happened. In order to balance the price I paid they told me to change room the morning after between 9 and 12 to move to a suite. I packed and left my room at 10 but they told me to come back at 12. at 12 they told me the room was not ready yet and I had to wait until 13. The shower in the suite had a problem of draining, so big lake in the bathroom.

Great hotel close to all the historic sites

Fabulous hotel. The Manager Aydin is great. Speaks good English and has a really good knowledge of everything in Istanbul. We spent 14 nights there with a good size room. Close to all the palaces, museums and mosques. Surrounded by great little restaurants this hotel is around 15 to 20 minutes walk from the Ayasofya Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque. Or walk across the road to the light rail to travel up to them. Also close to the water. Walk for a few minutes to all the ferries at Eminonu and Karakoy. Suggest you take ferry trips up the Golden horn, around the Bosphorus and across to the Prince's Islands. If you're going to other mosques, palaces, museums, shopping centres or any other sites most of them can be accessed walking, by ferries or light rail.

Broken toilet seat. Room was rated as sea view suite. Didn't match that description. English was limited by staff. The one good thing was location. Very close to Grand Bazaar and spice market. I'd give this hotel 2 stars

Beautiful, small hotel

Great hotel. Stayed in a junior suite, which had floor to ceiling windows with an incredible view of the water and city. Complimentary breakfast was great. Front desk staff were very friendly once we got to know them. Felt very safe and walking distance to many of the best tourist sites in the city. Only downsides at all were slightly broken blinds in the room and some damage to the counter top. Overall, if we went back to Istanbul I would certainly stay here again.

Okay basically its 2 mins to eminonu port(12tl for short bosphorus cruise), 1 min walk to sirkeci station. In short, spize bazaar and sultanahmet area are within a stone's throw. If need to go taksim, take the tram, about 20 mins.

Staff is excellent and always cheerful. They wil try their best to understand you.

And the best part, all rooms are facing the sea! I was on honeymoon and we really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended

Don't let them take you to their restaurant Kat4..

The hotel itself is decent quality for the money and the staff are very helpful however they must get paid a commission to take you to their overpriced restaurant Kat4. We paid 3 times the price in this restaurant and the quality was just not there. Instead....there is a excellent restaurant right down the street (in opposite direction) that has excellent food and excellent prices!!! You will notice it because it is always full (but no waiting) and the locals are eating here. Also, we could barely see out our windows because they needed cleaning so bad.

Pleasant hotel amazing location

Very pleasant hotel located in possibly the best and most ideal part of Istanbul. Although small the hotel had modern facilities and very clean rooms. The rooms had full and wonderful views of the Bosphorus as promoted. The staff very extremely friendly and helpful. although the Restuarant was small the open buffet breakfast was one of the better hotel breakfasts with custom made omelettes and eggs cooked with sucuk on offer for those for guests who wanted it together with complimentary Turkish coffee.

Bumped to a cheaper hotel

Arriving at this hotel we were told that 'due to a problem' we had been moved to another Manesol hotel in Istanbul. The Manesol Galata was visually inferior, in a back street up a steep hill and our expected Bosphorus view was replaced by that overlooking a building site. The agreed free transfer to the airport, offered by the first hotel, caused much discussion and phone calls before it was finally accepted that it had been offered and was then honoured. It is my belief that the Manesol Old City Bosphorus has a deliberate policy of bumping 'cheap' booking to other hotels in order to take advantage of better priced stays. I will be pursuing the matter with a view to compensation for a ruined Istanbul stay, which with notice could have been booked in an alternative hotel, on which there are many many that are better that the Manesol Galata and probably the Manesol Old City. I will never use another Manesol Hotel.

At arrival there was some issues with maintenance therefore they ask to relocate our stay to thier Manesol Karakoy just across the the golden horn in the way to Taksim. We accept and they provide free transportation to the hotel. The hotel of Manesol Karakoy is little lower views than old city one but with half price too and that was very good for us since we are not staying long time at the hotel.
In general good staff and clean hotel with very reasonable price at central location.

Poor Hotel Management

After returning from our 5 days tour outside Istanbul, we arrived at the hotel at about 10.30pm and was told that there is no room for us (4 of us booked 2 rooms), the hotel staff told us that we do not have a choice and that he will hv to send us to Manesol Hotel Galata, there will arrange a room for us the next day onwards.....We were told that the GM will see us in Manesol Galata the next day at 9am, but we waited till about 12pm+ and didn't managed to see him, the hotel transferred us back to Manesol Old City only at about 2pm.....

Best Hotel Stay in Istanbul

I am from originally Istanbul and visit the city often. I stayed most of big names (Hilton, Swiss,The Marmara, Conrad etc) to a lot of budget hotels in Old city region. This hotel by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in Istanbul and I would highly recommend to all of my friends.

The receptions crew was super helpful and cheerful. The breakfast is very good and even better if you order to your room where you can enjoy the view. We stayed at the top floor and the view was spectacular.

It is right next to Sirkeci train station where you can watch whirling dervishes and tram stop and ferry. It could not be more central than that.

I will stay over and over in this hotel!

Fantastic!

We were looking for a nice and affordable b&b hotel for our sightseeing trip, and this hotel was one of the best choice we have ever made. The location was perfect at the historical downtown, all the important locations were very near and we had a nice view from our room to the Bospurus.
The hotel is also very new and clean. The staff of the hotel was very kind and helpful during the whole stay. As an example at the end of the trip, we actually forgot my car keys in the room and they called me at the airport and organised a taxi to carry it out for us. Thank you and big thumbs up!:)

I stayed at the manesol for 10 days. My stay was wonderful. The staff was awesome, very helpful and very caring. Yunus, Osman and Khalil at the front desk were amazing. Adnan and chef Shahin made our daily breakfast a blast. Other than a couple of minor cleaning issues, I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. I would definitely stay there again. The location is perfect. Walking distance to all the major historical sites and easy access to public transportation.

Nice hotel but not clean!! Rottened bread!

The rooms are dirty specially the floor it was black from the dirts! Also there was a disgusting smell from the bathroom.
While we were having the breakfast we found rottened bread so we stopped having our breakfast at the hotel!
The staff were helpful and friendly specially the concierges.

Bra läge men hotell i dåligt skick

Personalen var hjälpsamma. De bytte rum åt oss varje gång vi hittade något som inte var bra. Rengöring och städning varje dag. Utsikten var jättebra. Frukosten var bra och varierande. Bra läge.

Men hotellet är i gammalt skick. Toaletten luktade illa. Mycket trafikljus. Internet är svag i många rum. Bara ett av rummen vi bytte till hade bra internet. Vår vistelse var 4 dagar, vi bytte rum 3 gånger.

Hotellets ägare var aggressiv mot oss när andra gäster som vi umgicks med och bodde på samma hotell hade skrivit dåligt omdöme om hotellet. Han tog ut sin aggression på oss.

Die optimale Lage für den Istanbulurlaub. Sofort vor dem Hotel ist die Straßenbahn, Regionalbahn etc., mit der man überall hinkommt. Gegenüber der Straße sind sofort die Schiffe zum rüberkommen. Alle Hotspots sind zügig zu erreichen.

Wir waren 3 nächte im 6 Stock mit eingeschränktem Meerblick....einfach Toll mitten im Sirkeci so ein Tollen Ausblick zu haben. Die Fenster sind Bodenbündig,deshalb ist der Ausblick nochmal schöner....auch aus dem Bett heraus. Nachts einfach Traumhaft....
Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr Professionell und Hilfsbereit....ja auch sehr Nett. Nochmals Danke.;) Frühstück war auch in Ordnung....

-Das Personal sehr freundlich ist und hilfsbereit
-Das du gehen und kommen kannst wann du willst keiner belästigt dich mit fragen oder sonstiges .
Und das Hotel ist sehr Zentralnah zum Einkaufen ,Kultur kennen lernen ,Sehenswürdigkeiten erkundigen usw

Nur das einzige was man noch verbessern könnte ist das Frühstück Buffet

Hotellet var bra och servicen var bra. Frukosten var jättedålig så hoppa över den och ät ute i närområdet. Hotellet ligger riktigt bra till och det var nära till det mesta.
Hotellet låg centralt så det var väldigt bullrigt i rummet från vägen och butikerna utanför hotellet.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, wobei die arabischen Touristen deutlich besser behandelt wurden.

Ich finde es schade, dass die Fenster von außen dreckig waren. So konnte mich den Meerblick nicht genießen.

Hygiene mangelhaft,
Heizung wird in kalten Tagen nach fünf mal anfrage nicht eingeschaltet.
Kein eis bzw. .kältebeutel für verletzungen vorhanden.
Beim Frühstück wird man mindestens 2.mal nach der Zimmer Nummer gefragt.
Die zwischen wände ziemlich dünn nicht schwer den nachbar bei jeder bewegung zu erraten.

Bitte nicht stören!!! kennen die putzleute nicht! nach 2 mal leichtem klopfen stehrn die im Zimmer!

Dies gilt für das Nebengebäude!

Sehr gute Lage, man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen, sehr gute Verkehrs Verbindungen. Sehr viel fähltige Frühstück, große Bad und große Zimmer, freundliche Personal.....

الفندق مكانه جدا جميل مطل ع البحر ومقابل مترو سيركجي وكل شي قررريب الغرف خصوصا الجناح جنيور انصصصح وبقوه او المطله ع البحر طبعا ماانصح باالغرف الغير مطله اببد فطورهم اقل من العادي لاانصح فيه لاكن بشكل عام الفندق كان افضل قبل سنتين لاكن مازال الغرف والموقع والاطلاله جميييله

Good but a bit disappointing

We chose this hotel last minute. Location and prices were okay. We booked a standard room. We arrived and they proposed us to upgrade in a kings suite room. We did upgrade. The room was really good. Big and comfortable bed. View on sea side. Few problems with shower though as the pressure wasn't strong and not hot water but warm which is a shame specially in winter.
When we did upgrade they spoke about breakfast. Considering price we paid for the room and the fact that they didn't specified it as an extra we thought it was included in the price.
Following day we went for breakfast. Basic one not bad but not the best one either. As we were eating someone from staff came to let us know it would be 30euro for two. So 135 turkish lira . Which is really expensive for what we had.
We checked with reception about it and they answered in a really bad tone that of course it wasn't free.
During check out we said to receptionist that it would have been nice to know what is included in the price. He was also surprised and found it interesting to know that nobody let us know. Tried to put it on website fault as it should have been written. But as we upgraded with them they should have let us know as the room was completely different and price too.
Anyway we had to pay 135 turkish lira for a basic breakfast. A shame. I recommend the place for location but very bad hospitality. (my partner speak Turkish so it wasn't misunderstanding because of language)

Hoteller er rigtig godt placeret i centrum. Personalet var rigtig søde og imødekommende, med altid et smil på læben. Der bliver helt klart et hotel jeg vælger igen hvis jeg skal pp ferie i Istanbul igen.

Schönes Hotel in Zentraler Lage

Wir haben dieses Hotel vom 27.10.2017 - 04.11.2017 gebucht und für das Zimmer mit City View extra 4,11 € pro person mehr bezahlt.
Als wir am Hotel ankamen wurde uns ein anderes Zimmer gegeben.
Ein Zimmer was auch billiger ist als unser Zimmer auch von der Ausstattung her, keine Städteblick sondern ein Blick auf eine Mauer von einem anderen Gebäude, daraufhin habe ich mir beschwert und uns wurde ein neues Zimmer für den nächsten Tag zugesagt, leider war dies auch nicht der Fall und wir bekamen erst 2 Tage später ein anderes Zimmer.
Hintergrund war unser Zimmer haben die einfach jemanden anderen vermietet. Also hatten die anderen Kunden vorrang.
Die Aussage vom Rezeptionist war Sie haben aber komplett für das Hotel wenig bezahlt. Ich habe dem dann ausdrücklich gesagt dass das den nicht interessiere ihn solle nur interessieren welches Zimmer ich gebucht habe.
Es gab weder eine Entschuldigung weder was anderes, nach 2 tagen bekamen wir unser richtiges Zimmer .
Hotel ist zwar gut ausgesattet aber die leute arbeiten nur weil Sie es müssen.
Im Hotel werden die leute bevorzugt die mehr für das Hotelzimmer ausgeben.

الفندق جيد جدا منطقة الفندق جميلة النظافة ممتازة والأقطار كان متنوع لكن اضاءة الغرفة كانت ضعيفه جدا ولا يوجد احد يتحدث اللغة العربية الا شخص واحد بالاستقبال بالليل فقط
