Beautiful hotel with outstanding staff who go the extra mile to make sure your experience is the best it could be. The room was tastefully done with top notch linens. Every night we found a delicious treat in our room. Breakfast was beautifully presented with lots of variety and Sandra remembered my tea order from the day before. Loved the rooftop bar too. Highly recommend!!!

The room was very comfortable and we slept great! The problem was that it was very small and difficult to “live out of our suitcases“. Not enough closet space to really unpack and didn’t want to for two nights and one and 1/2 days.
Lots of attention to customer service like opening the front door every time you came in, however, small things which were requested did not get done and this is why I cannot give it a five

Main issue was completely absent water pressure on the morning of September 26th. Also, we expressed a preference for ice in the room daily, but instead were told to call the front desk when we needed. A problem, because the phone in our room did not work. Staff at front desks were helpful and courteous in every instance, including check-in.

Serras Barcelona is a WONDERFUL hotel. The lobby and rooms were beautifully appointed. Every night we came home to a small delicious treat from the kitchen. The room was quiet and very well equipped with all the amenities you would expect— even a steamer and flat iron for your hair. The best part was the TERRIFIC staff who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, including making reservations at local restaurants and attractions. Top notch service from all the staff. Front desk, lobby, room staff, and upstairs bar all raised the bar for excellent service. Rooms were thoughtfully supplied with yoga mats, little extras, and the best showerhead ever!

The location is along the waterfront and the Gothic Quarter and it is easy to be anywhere else given the nearby Metro stations. We found this location to be in the middle of things, but also a peaceful place to return when we wanted rest. (Amazing soundproofing with the windows!)

Thank you Hotel Serras for making our last few days in Spain so memorable.

Serras Barcelona is a small gem. The location is a few blocks walk to the gothic area with loads of shops, restaurants and charm. If you cross the street from the hotel you can walk along the water and the small boat harbor surrounded by shops, restaurants and locals enjoying the day. The ports are just a few minutes away by cab. What makes Serras unique however is the staff.
When we arrived early in the morning my husband was not feeling well and Augustina at the front desk did every thing she could to get us to a room as soon as possible.
This is a small boutique hotel with all the advantages that implies. Check in was personal, welcoming and non stressful. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble. The physical hotel is beautiful inside with lovely guest rooms and an inviting rooftop bar, lounge and if weather permits, restaurant. We have been to Barcelona several times and stayed in different hotels. We will look no further. Serras is where we will stay from now on when we visit Barcelona.

The Serras Barcelona Hotel is a very special property. You are treated like royalty from the moment you arrive. The team is incredible. The service level they offer is truly impressive. The hotel is perfectly situated. The valet service you experience upon arriving is unmatched. That service is followed by champagne and a very professional/informative check-in. The rooms are very nice. The restaurant is spectacular. The rooftop deck is an added bonus. The hotel is situated in close proximity to well essentially everything you would want to experience. After many years of trying to stay at Serras Barcelona, we finally succeeded and the hotel is every thing we hoped it would be. Rooms are thoughtfully designed and exceedingly well maintained. The hotel’s waterfront location is ideal especially given the luxe rooftop lounge. The bar and pool area is small but the service and the menu was fantastic.

The gym is tiny - don’t come for a workout though.

The room, although small was so well appointed. All the furnishings and fittings were 5 star.

This is a lovely and quiet hotel in the heart of Barcelona's port area. We walked to several different Metro lines as well as through the lovely narrow streets of old town. The staff was gracious and incredibly helpful and welcoming. Our room was delightful with every amenity we could need. We had a nice meal at the roof deck restaurant, which has views out over the port. Definitely a great find in Barcelona!

The best hotel experience in my life!
Perfect location, perfect staff, perfect amenities, super clean and quiet rooms, exceptional service!

We stayed for three nights with my girlfriend for the New Year’s Eve, and unfortunately, on the first day we got food poisoned. But the staff was so compassionate and thoughtful about everything we need and every necessary things we need to be provided. From kitchen staff to front desk, everybody handled our sensitive situation meticulously. Can’t be thankful more!

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, with clean, modern rooms. Incredible breakfast buffet, walking distance to everything in Old Town, Born, Barceloneta, and more. Also, just lovely and attentive service all around, from the desk staff to the daily turndown service.

Serras is a welcoming, warm small hotel with a level of service and attention to detail far surpassing your wildest dreams. We were cared for by kind and friendly staff, assisted in all manner of requests. The beds are luxurious, linens beautiful, the roof top bar is heaven. Located right on the east of the Gothic quarter there is ample opportunity to wander and explore. I look forward to returning to Serras!

The staff was very accommodating from check-in, to allowing us to clean up and relax before our rooms were ready, to giving us a tour of their lovely hotel. A great place to stay so close to the Gothic Quarter. Would definitely book this hotel again and would highly recommend it to anyone.

We greatly enjoyed our first 2 nights visiting Spain at the Serras Barcelona and they exceeded all expectations. Fantastic service from everyone, comfortable and very clean well appointed room with superb bed and super soft sheets. Loved they still do turndown service. They acknowledged our anniversary and we also enjoyed dinner on the rooftop at Informal which was delicious. We will definitely return if in the area!

the staff were the best. we travel 5 months out of the year all over the world and the staff here is among the best i.e. smiles and happy to help all the time. very convenient location since it is in the center to most all great places to walk to. we walk an average of 8 miles each day just enjoying all the beauty of the city. resturant had great food and drink but very limited menu. no person and nothing is perfect but this hotel is close to that.
