It's a great hitel to stay at when in Barcelona.

First, the location is great. Minutes from the metro, seconds from the harbour, not far from the beach, and about 10 min walk to the gothic quarter. The area is safe and clean. It also has a lot of restaurants nearby.

The hotel itself is very good. It has a range of useful services. The staff is always there to help no matter the hour. There is always someone around.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. All the staff, from reception to cleaning service, to restaurant.


The breakfast is lovely. With a range of healthy and local options. Real fresh juice.

The rooms are great. Spacious. Well equipped. And they have high quality products for shampoo, hand wash, and body wash.

I loved the fact that the hotel is only powered by renewable energy. (Or so they say - let's hope the claim is true).

My only gripe:
The rooms are not very soundproof. I could hear the street quite a bit. And the neighbours has a young child, when they screamed (which they have the right to do), you could hear them quite clearly.

Overall, I recommend and would stay there again.

H10 Port Vell was a perfect location for my 5 day Barcelona trip! You are walking distance to El Born, Barceloneta and can easily rent a bike right outside the hotel! The rooftop pool was beautiful and the food and drink options were great. Would highly recommend!

My friend and I stayed at H10 Port Vell during our visit to Barcelona for the Primavera Sound festival. I have previously stayed with my sister for a short trip and, once again, it did not disappoint.

The rooms are lovely, well-appointed, and clean. The free water and Rituals toiletries are a nice touch.

Our breakfast was brilliant, with both a la carte and buffet options.

The highlight was definitely the rooftop plunge pool with views over the Port.

The hotel is in a brilliant location, only a short stroll to the Gothic Quarter and very close to the metro and bus stops for those who wish to venture further afield.

Danni and the entire front desk staff provided an excellent customer service. We came in early coming back from a cruise and we were able to get into one of our room early without additional charge. This hotel is highly recommended and would definitely my hotel that would consider staying again if we happen to go back to Barcelona.

Lovely harbour view room on the fourth floor. The hotel is in an excellent location with all attractions, eateries and the beach within easy walking distance.

You are close to the main roads so some degree of traffic noise is to be expected but that wasn’t an issue from our perspective.

The room was a perfect size with good on-suite facilities. The two ladies on reception who greeted us on arrival were extremely helpful.

We didn’t try the hotel breakfast which looked okay but I would say there are far better alternatives awaiting you outside!

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

It was just ok

The hotel rooms facing the front of the building were very loud on a Sunday night. Could hear numerous people talking or yelling throughout the night. Air conditioning was not able to be turned on, so opening the windows made it even louder. Room was hot and stuffy.

Enjoy the weather in the harbor!

We absolutely loved coming down to the harbor. The people working in the front desk were professional and helpful and we signed up for the H100 club. We’re looking forward to other days. Make sure you go up and have a beverage at the roof rooftop pool. The layout chairs are great.

Lovely hotel but requests not met

Lovely hotel but I did request two single beds well in advance but didn’t get them.
We did however receive a complimentary bottle of cava which was a nice touch. The room was nice but we had no balcony or view which was also requested. I thought we would have had our requests met seeing as we travelled in November and I had pre contacted the hotel to inform them of a 50th birthday celebration. If we would have had a balcony with a view and the single beds, it would have been perfect.

A handicapped room had a bathtub over a foot entry. No shower seat or stool. No closure door.
Lower Bar was on Left side of tub when most people are right handed. Handicapped rooms on first floor but DIRECTLY across from two bathrooms. Not quite especially with phone users! Not at all handicapped friendly or safe!

This was the 3rd hotel we stayed at and the most expensive, yet our worst experience.

Ladies, if you’re trying to get ready in front of a decent or actual mirror, be aware. The mirrors had a dark effect and it was really hard to tell what we were looking at sometimes.

There’s no where to hang towels or tolietry bags, except the hooks that were by the front door, which is unpleasant to see towels etc as soon as you walk in.

Super dim lights in the bathrooms, safe were annoying, etc. Few other small things that we didn't realize made a big difference.

Also, we left a key card in (to allow the AC to continue while we stepped out for coffee. House keeping took it. Thank God we changed our key cards entirely because she tried to return at 6. We had to report it.

Otherwise room had a beautiful balcony and views. It's a modern property with lots to do. Do what you will with this info. Hope it helps someone.

We absolutely loved our stay here. From the minute we arrived everyone was kind and caring and helpful. We were able to leave our bags and the room was ready a bit early for us. The room was delightful. The staff found out it was our last day of an incredible Honeymoon trip and sent us chocolates and champagne to celebrate! We enjoyed lounging by the rooftop pool taking in the view of Barcelona and visiting with fellow travelers. We highly recommend this spot. A & B!!
