Only problem was the elevator only worked for me going up (not down) which meant getting my suitcase down from the top floor was a challenge. But ... She persisted and she could.

Property was in a fantastic location. Was a small amount of night time noise but to be expected for the location. Property was clean and well furnished, the facilities and welcome pack were great. Stayed with two young kids and they loved it and was the ideal base to explore into Barcelona and towards the Beach. Having Born district on the door step was great for eating and ice cream treats. The staff could not have been more helpful even helping to carry bag to our rooms as well as coming to find me when I was on the wrong floor trying to get into the wrong apartment on arrival. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again in future.

Overall, good as the property is close to most attractions and shops and eateries. Commuting by bus or train is easy. It’s a walkable city.

The property is plain and simple. Has narrow staircases though, going up/down with carry on or big luggage can be challenging but there is an elevator but just as narrow as the stairs. Kitchen equipped with necessities, washroom is small esp the shower section. Bedrooms are okay size.

The property is clean and located in the El Born district which is quite vibrant with plenty to do in the immediate area. The apartment (2 bed) was very small for a family of 4 and it is a walk to the subway.

Taxi drivers are puzzled to get you close as the streets at the apartment are too narrow - easy fix we discovered is use the Pla de Palau as your taxi and transportation hub. For beaches hail taxi at opposite side of Pla and for train station direction hail taxi at near side. Drivers are a bit fussy with this.
This is a very good location for nearby shops and eatery choices. Familia Sagrada is walkable - but a stretch in the heat @ 2.3km. Beaches are closer - best choices are Mar Bella and Bogatell. Well maintained, clean and comfortable apartment. Management is located in same building and prompt to respond to your needs. Fabulous choice.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 3. Our 10 yr old had his own space and it was in such a beautiful part of El Born. We really couldn’t have been happier here! A couple downsides (as entitled
American's so take it as you will…)… WiFi didn’t connect well in the common space and bathroom was very small (and we relatively small ppl).

The whole stay was perfect. Location is ideal and the apartment was easily the most comfortable I've ever stayed in. Decent sized rooms with everything you'd need.

I like the apartment. It was even better that I expected. Spacious, clean, and located at the great area. We walked to the beach about 15 min. The subway is very close. A lot of places to eat (La Luna is great restaurant), souvenir shops, supermarkets; Arco de Triunfo only 9 min walking. If you need to get to the airport, I would say you can risk it and take a train as they have recommend it, but only if you have a lot of time. I would take a bus next time. I like this place, the employees was very nice, I would stay here again.

The apartment was great and in an incredible location. One of the best neighborhoods in Barcelona with easy access to any part of the city. The only negative was work being done on the building during our stay and it could get quite noisy at times as sounds travels easily through the walls. But that is to be expected in a historic neighborhood like El Born with mostly older buildings. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this apartment.

Nicely situated apartment in La Ribera

We enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. The apartment was in an excellent location for accessing the \"old city\" and was within a 5 minute walk to the metro to access other parts of the city. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, one bathroom for 3 people. It was located on the 3rd floor and there was an elevator. The building was secured and was close to the rental office. The office staff were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. We were close to many bars, restaurants and shops and within steps of the Santa Maria del Mar church and placa and within minutes to the Picasso Museum, Passeig del Born and la Barcelonita harbor.

The apartment was clean and had all of the basics needed for our stay. There were large windows and French doors for natural light. It could use some updating but even without those, it was absolutely fine for what we needed. I would stay there again for sure!

The location was fantastic and the staff were very helpful. These are unserviced apartments (although cleaning, towel changes are available for an extra fee). We stayed with our two teenage children. The common area and 2nd bedroom were smaller than we expected from the pictures. The bathroom layout was good/spacious, but the tile in the shower was old and hadn’t been scrubbed in a while. There was a lot of mildew/mold in the grout. The furniture in the common area was a bit tired- the sofa was worn out and needs to be replaced. As the company states, the lift is very small
and the stairs are narrow
and steep. We stayed on the 4th floor and generally took the stairs with no problem, but if you have trouble with stairs you may not be happy on the higher floors.I would stay there again because the location was fabulous.

Overall we loved the apartment in Barcelona - it used space really well and allowed us to have an extremely comfortable spot to land and siesta. Amenities were great including a well stocked kitchen and laundry facility in room that was free.

Highlights:
- Locations was phenomenal, just a few blocks from the Picasso museum with a ton of amazing restaurants and shops near by
- The entire apartment was well furnished and comfortable with a lot of great light including both a private as well as a shared balcony near the elevator
- The building and neighborhood felt safe and included a PED entry to the building for added safety

There were only a few things that stood out that could be improved:
- We needed to be very precise about when we would arrive. The lobby is not staffed 24 hours and when our flight was delayed coming in, the woman that checked us in made a few comments about how we were lucky she was still there
- Directions they provided didn't help us find it. Even when close to the location, locals had no idea where it was and we wound up getting a pedi cab to get us there. Even with his GPS, still took a few circles to find it
- Our apartment was on the top floor and one of the things we discovered is that if the elevator isn't run, it goes into a dormant state that means it \"resets\" it self. The noise, which is a loud clang, didn't bother me, but did keep my partner up one night. So, may not be the best for light sleepers.

This is a very well equipped and well run self-catering apartment in a central location in Barcelona. The bells from Santa Maria del Mar chime from 7 a.m until 11 p.m. and there can be a bit of street noise at night, but this is a small price to pay for such a central and atmospheric location. We thoroughly enjoyed our ten night stay there.

Studio apartment right in the heart of El Born. Location is excellent with everything you need on your doorstep. Explore all the narrow streets with lovely shops, bars & restaurants. Very lively in the evenings. All main attractions and beach are within walking distance. The office for the apartments is located in the same building and the team were very helpful. Andrea especially when she emailed us details of metro times & routes when our plans changed at short notice.

Spacious apartment in the best location

The staff at Inside Barcelona were so great - incredibly helpful with check-in, walk-through, and any other needs we had. The location of the apartment was perfect - next to the Gothic Quarter and within (short) walking distance of most major attractions, including shopping, amazing restaurants, and the beach, in the city. The apt was super comfortable and clean. The noise in the Gothic Quarter was high throughout most of the night - but that's to be expected in the areas of any city where people come to eat and drink. We could not have had a more authentic or amazing experience.

The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful. They emailed us with information on how to arrive from the airport. We took their advice and were very happy that we did. We took a cab from the airport. The cost was approximately 32 euros. (reasonable as we were 4 adults with lots of luggage). The staff was extremely helpful. They showed us the room and offered any help that was required. The only drawback to this hotel was the horrible smell in the streets. Our room smelled like sewage. Some days were worse than others so the smell depended on the day. We would not return to this hotel for this reason only.

Absolutely perfect location. City and beach

We had an amazing 7 day stay in Barcelona. This appartement is centrally located in the old city part \"EL BORN\", small typical Spanish streets and surrounded by great restaurants, bars, shops. El Born is an up and coming area with a very creative, urban vibe. We were 10/15 minutes away walking from the beautiful beaches of Barceloneta, and a metro ride away from the Llevant beaches. We also could access any other neighbourhood by foot all within 30 minutes. If you love walking Barcelona is a great city to discover walking around. As well the local train station El Franca is 5 minutes from there and if you wish you can hop on a train to get to Montserrat or Stijes for the day.End of August is a good time to visit this city as it's less busy, and although some shops close down for their annual holidays there is no shortage of anything you may wish for. Each neighbourhood has a market, ours was Sant Catrina with lots of fresh fruits, veggies amazing Spanish cured hams, and if you love fresh seafood this is the pace to go and get it. We would love to go back as it's an easy, safe and so vibrant city to explore.

An OK Apartment with Good Location

The staff who showed us the apartment was very friendly. The staff helped us with metro to Sagrada Família and Segway information didn't have correct knowledge and direct us in the wrong way. The room was overall clean with some moldy spots on the shower wall. Not enough toilet paper and shampoo for four night stay.

The location was very good in the old town with many good restaurants and close to the water front, Picasso Museum and Jaume l Metro station . Unfortunately, two of the top recommended restaurants closed for August holiday.

Great location, comfortable apartment!

This apartment was everything we were looking for, very clean, spacious and felt like home. The location was perfect with the tourist buses a 3 minute walk from the building and a range of restaurants all in different directions to suit all needs. Close to the beach, the Olympic port in walking distance which also had great nightlife of bars and beautiful restaurants, as well as La Ramblas being a walkable distance away. Would definitely stay here again!

Lovely apartment in great location.

This is a fantastic apartment I would recommend it if you want to be in a nice area close to everything. The staff could not be more helpful, we arrived early, our apartment was ready, we were shown around it and told how everything worked etc. This apartment has everything you need it has air con and heating, balcony from lounge and bedroom looking onto a quaint quiet street, loved it. We were not leaving until 3 and had to be out of the apartment by 12 which is a very reasonable time, we could leave our cases in the office downstairs while we carried on sight seeing, no hassle at all. The directions we were given to and from the apartment were very easy to follow, we found it no problem. Would stay here again.

I really can't fault the company or the accommodation. We stayed in Esparteria in a 2 bedroom apartment. When I contacted the company by phone before travelling they were so helpful with information and sent me further details by email. On arrival the welcome was very warm and we were helped with luggage. The apartment was fully introduced to us and we were given information about the local area and attractions further afield. The apartment was very well equipped and it was amazing to stay in an old building in the heart of the gothic quarter in Barcelona but with such a modern interior and in air conditioned comfort. The local area was amazing and the whole family enjoyed the narrow streets and views from our balconies as well as the local bakery and proximity to the beaches and public transport. I would truly like to thank all the staff for making our stay so easy and for looking after us so well. Inside Barcelona is the only company I will use when staying in Barcelona in future. A very personal touch.

We were very happy with our stay at Inside Barcelona Esparteria. Our one bedroom apartment was clean, modern and spacious in a lovely old part of town. Everything we needed (groceries, restaurants, metro stations) were nearby and the staff were friendly, spoke English well and were always more than willing to help us with any questions we had. I would definitely stay here again if/when we return to Barcelona.
The only improvement I would suggest is that when you stay for longer than 3 or so days, they provide you with a clean set of towels without a 10 Euro charge.

We were met by Helena who showed us the apartment and explained how everything worked. She was also very informative about places to eat and visit. On the first evening I lost the hotel key in a restaurant.
I called Helena who kindly came to the rescue and reprogrammed two new sets of keys so that we could gain access to the apartment. Would highly recommend this apartment as it is in an ideal location and walking distance to most places of interest.

Perfect Girls Getaway

Myself and three other girls stayed for four nights in this wonderful apartment.

The location was fantastic - right in the heart of the El born area which was full of tapas, bars and independent shopping. Walking distance to anywhere worth visiting - Cuitadella Parc, Port Vell and the train station for access to anywhere else!

The apartment - this was the first time we had stayed in an apartment rather than a hotel as a group and found the experience perfect for our needs. The apartment was well equipped kitchen wise - we even found a jug for our sangria! Beds were incredibly comfortable and the three (yes THREE!) balconies that surrounded us opened up the space even more.

We had the perfect holiday, everything made 100% by our apartment and the team at Inside BCN. Especially Laura, who helped us plan our trip with such ease.

Most definitely will be returning to this apartment! Already looking at later this month!

The Apartement was very nice. It was in 2 Minute walking distance of the famous cathedral St Maria del Mar in the center of the medieval old town. There are a lot of Tappas- and Winebars, Restaurants and Boutiques.
The personal (office in the same house) was very helpful and always very friendly.

Great apartment in Barcelona!

Loved this place! The location was excellent and in the cool neighborhood of Born, loads of great places to eat that weren't too \"touristy\". The staff in the office (around the corner from the apartment) were amazing and great for giving us recommendations and super helpful.

The apartment was very spacious, large living room with kitchen attached, decent bedroom, lovely bathroom. Only niggle is that there is a 80 litre capacity to the hot water (=15 min shower or one moderately filled bath) so if there are a few of your staying there could be a problem. They said it takes about 1.5 hours to refill/reheat the water tank. This didn't bother us though.

Don't expect cleaning services, etc. as this is not a hotel, just like if you were renting an apartment. I actually preferred this to a hotel.

All in all a great stay!

Die Wohnung war sehr gut. Die Lage in der Altstadt ist toll. Im Viertel sind viele kleine Läden, Bars, Restaurants. Auch diverse Museen sind fußläufig erreichbar. Genauso wie der Strand.
Allerdings hört man auch Abends/Nachts bei geschlossenen Fenstern alles von den nahen Bars und Restaurants und dem Leben.
Wir fanden das aber nicht negativ.

Best Choice

If you choose an apartment instead of a hotel in Barcelona, this is a good choice.
It is very close to the city center and the beach (bus stop, metro).
There are many restaurants and attractions nearby.
The building is old, but the interior is clean.
The office is on the first floor, so it is easier to get help than other apartments.
The staff is friendly, but I forgot to ask for their names.

Overordnet set var det et super fint sted at bo, men skulle vi havde været der i mere end 4 nætter havde vi valgt noget andet. Badeværelset kunne godt trænge til en lille opgradering. Nogle af listerne havde løftet sig fra vægen. Sengene var helt fine og rene og det var skønt med altanerne.

Great recommendation

I’ve already stayed in a few places in Barcelona but this was definitely one of the best: super clean (they even had new sponges & cleaning towels for the dishes prepared, something I appreciated a lot!!), all dishes & glasses were super clean, it was spacious for four people, had a perfect location for which everything was walk able, supermarkets, bars & restaurants were close and very nice, easy & quick communication and check-in. Even could have left my luggage after check-out in the office which is just located below the apartment.
I slept very well but my friend had some issues due to the street noise (weekend) but I think it depends how sensitive you are. I can definitely recommend this place and will be back. Thank you to the helpful team!

Fin lille lejlighed

Det er en dejlig mindre lejlighed, hvor placeringen midt i El Born ikke kan være meget bedre.
Lejligheden har hvad der skal være. Dog er stolene på altanen umulige at sidde på, så vi byttede dem ud med to indefra.
Servicen på kontoret er perfekt; de er utroligt behjælpelige.
En beboer overfor holdt nogle nat-arrangementer på sin tagterrasse. Ellers stille og roligt kvarter.
Det eneste vi manglede var en opvaskemaskine, men det gik uden.

The staff is always very welcoming and helpfull. Some noise must be anticipatet, since it is within the city center (really not a lot). Never the less, it is an amazing location. Close to shopping, close to the beach and amazing bars/restaurants in the area. and the communication is great, from arriving to depature.

Entre Harry Potter y Jack el Destripador

Excelente ubicación, en todo el corazón de El Born, rodeado de mágicos callejones con creativas y oníricas tiendas suspendidas entre arcadas y arcos góticos donde no sabes si te saldrá algún personaje de Harry Potter o Jack el Destripador. Bares de autor cada 20 metros con pócimas y brebajes de insondables procedencias, coto de caza de bohemios, artistas, diletantes, estudiantes, coleccionistas y renacentistas, todos embrujados por igual y amparados bajo la magnificencia de la hiper hermosa Basílica de Santa María del Mar que reposa a escasos metros. Los apartamentos guardan una acogedora personalidad, decorados con calidez y con vistas a destartalados y acaso sugestivos balcones que presumen de cierta atemporalidad. Un diminuto ascensor los llevará a vuestros aposentos, o podrán escoger una muy histriónica y estrecha escalera donde el marmol de los inverosímiles escalones se ha rendido al paso de sus moradores y desde luego al paso del tiempo, adoptando gastadas sinuosidades: cuidado al descender, aquí no habitan dos escalones iguales...El personal de acogida super amable, la chica que nos atendió y condujo al apartamento fué toda sonrisa, luz y amabilidad, divisa tristemente cada vez mas ausente y extranjera de los rostros de los habitantes de la ciudad Condal. Apenas a un par de minutos a pie de la Plaza Palau, cerca de abastos donde apertrecharse de cualquier antojo y desde luego, algún buen tinto para que surja la poesía, lo recomendamos ampliamente.

Bodde här under en kompisresa till Barcelona. Vi är mycket nöjda med hotellet! Bra läge med bra restauranger ett stenkast bort och inga problem att utgå härifrån när ni vill upptäcka staden. Köket hade det som behövdes för att kunna laga lättare mellanmål och frukost. Fräsch toa och bra rum dock något korta sängar i ena rummet.

Mycket trevlig personal som gav bra bemötande och svarade på alla ev. frågor!

Zeer goede ligging in een van de leukste gebieden van Barcelona. Welkom en hulp vanuit de denk was prima. Het appartement voldeed helaas niet aan de verwachtingen. Het was heel leuk qua opzet maar de bedden waren slecht en de badkamer was klein en vuil. Schimmel op kitnaden en voegen tegels. Dit was een afknapper.

Fantastiskt boende!

Rekommenderar verkligen detta boende!! Mysigt läge i lugnt äldre kvarter. Trevlig personal och fin lägenhet med franska balkonger åt flera håll. Bra standard och rent och snyggt! Kommer återvända till denna lägenhet nästa gång vi besöker Barcelona!

Smooth and easy stay

Great three night stay in the one bedroom apartment. Kitchen well equipped for two and the general state of the apartment was ok. Location is simply awesome, so was the level of service.
The Inside BCN office is right beneath the apartment.

L'appartement est situé dans le quartier El Born à quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs attraits touristiques: le zoo, le parc de Ciutadella, le musée Picasso, la mer et ses plages... On trouve également plusieurs boutiques d'artisan et de très bons petits restos à proximité. Le personnel de Inside Barcelona est dévoué et très professionnel. Nous avons loué l'appartement Attico 2. Bien que nous ayons bien apprécié le confort et la terrasse de l'appartement, nous avons été un peu surpris à prime abord par le décor qui était différent des décors qu'on voit dans les photographies vues sur le site Expédia.

Hyggelig personale og god service fra bestiling til hjemreise. De bidro med veibeskrivelser, tips til aktiviteter og spisesteder. Henting av nøkkel og innsjekk, samt komtakt med personalet var i et komtor på gateplan like ved og var åpent på dagtid. Rent og pent i leiligheten da vi kom. Daglig vask og bytte av håndkle var ikke innkludert i ordinær pris. Flott område med barn, da det var relativt nært strandområdet og lite trafikk i gatene. Også sentralt i forhold til zoo, akvarie og spisesteder/butikker.

Nice stay!

Ett perfekt boende i El Born, nära Gotiska kvarteren. Dessutom promenadavstånd till Barceloneta med ca 15 minuters promenad till strand. Vår lägenhet hade allt vi kunde önska, det enda vi saknade i så fall var en liten diskmaskin och det hade rymts på den gedigna diskbänken. Mycket serviceminded personal och Inside Apartments huvudkontor finns i byggnaden till lägenhetshotellet. Lite dålig doft från gatubrunnar i gatan, men inget som störde oss nämnvärt. Vi är mycket nöjda.

BUEN ESPACIO PERO IDEAL SERÍA UNA MEJOR UBICACION

El lugar es bonito y cómodo, la atención muy buena pero la ubicación genera un poco de temor si es que uno quiere trasladarse hasta altas horas de la noche por eso llegábamos con mi esposa e hijos antes de que oscurezca.
