Perfect stay. Wonderful staff. Excellent location, I walked everywhere! Rooftop bar and restaurant was fantastic. They have remodeled the plunge pool. Also, you can see La Familia Sangrada from the roof! Excellent value, as I paid half of what comparable hotels were charging.

Everything was great except there was no full sized mirror in our room. The only mirror was in the bathroom. Otherwise everything was great, lovely staff, comfortable beds, excellent location. You can’t go wrong with this location. It is so close to all the major attractions, breakfast was nice. We would definitely recommend this one.

The entrance to the hotel is lovely. Their breakfast is magnificent when the best I’ve had for a hotel breakfast. However. The dinner menu left lot to be desired for me because I’m allergic to all seafood and had difficulty choosing options. The service is the best that I’ve ever had and finally they accommodated me by stating that they would cook my food in a separate pan I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is located across the street from the gothic quarters. Excellent location. Walking distance to las Ramblas and south to the Pier. Great restaurants near by. H10 Moncado was the most welcoming of all the H10 hotels we stayed in our strip to Spain. Oriol, at front desk was excellent. He was efficient, and extremely helpful. He asked about us and offered maps to help us in our stay. The lobby offered many sitting areas to enjoy drinks and relax before venturing out to the city. The rooms a little small however they are kept immaculate. They offer daily bottles of drinking water and plenty of coffee pods. We had a bidet in our room. The toiletry bag contained toothbrush/ toothpaste/ shaving blade and cream. We immensely enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Decent Stay with a Rough Start

Overall, my stay was okay, but the beginning of my check-in was a bit rough. I had to change my travel plans and check out earlier than expected, and when I asked the hotel if they could reimburse me for the last two nights I wouldn’t be staying, they unfortunately denied my request.

During check-in, there was also some confusion. The staff member helping me tried to charge me the tax for all the nights of my original booking, but thankfully her coworker corrected it and made sure I was only charged for the nights I would actually be staying.

Once I got past the check-in experience, the rest of my stay was great. The hotel has a rooftop where I could bring my drinks, relax, and enjoy a beautiful view — definitely a highlight!

I’d say it was a mixed experience overall, but I still enjoyed the stay once everything was settled.

The hotel has good amenities, excellent customer service, and their breakfast was more comprehensive than expected. The staff was kind and made accommodations for my handicapped father in law. I liked that the hotel was situated in the middle and between El Born and Gothic Quarter. This provides easy walking distance to various areas and the Metro.

I had only one complaint but I think it may not have been in the hotel’s control. The neighbors on either side of my room were rambunctious. The children were slamming doors, yelling and running back and forth between the two rooms while we were trying to sleep. Parents and their kids were not considerate of others. If the hotel could have made softer or quieter closing doors, that would have been very helpful.

The room was incredible. They surprised us with a bottle of sangria for our anniversary. They also helped us book a reservation for a restaurant in the area(by recommendation from the front desk clerk.) it was incredible and they purchased a glass of sparkling wine for us aswell. Amazing experience. We will be back again.

Very nice hotel. Staff was great, front desk staff was informative, and the cleaning and serving staff was exceptional. Our room faced a busy street but we didn’t notice any overly obnoxious traffic noise. Rooms are small but clean and cozy. The rooftop bar overlooking the city was a highlight:

Wow. We stayed at both the front and back of a cruise from Barcelona. We were so impressed with the hotel. Especially the staff. We arrived early both days with a ton of luggage. They were so helpful with keeping it while we explored the city and even moved it to our room when it was ready. Great suggestions for meals and arrangements for cabs. The room was also great. Nice bed, good shower and for being right downtown very quiet. We will be back.

The H10 Montcada Boutique Hotel in Barcelona is in an awesome location in the center of the city by the Gothic Quarter. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff was very helpful! The only small glitch we had was a power outage for a few hours (not the hotels fault) but we were glad we were not in the small elevators when it happened! We would recommend this hotel and stay there again!

The location is excellent — close to many restaurants and shops. We only stayed one night after arriving from Sevilla before heading home, but it was a very pleasant stay.

The welcome treats are also such a welcome surprise. We had a triple room which was a good size and very clean. Room 104 noisy , couldn’t sleep

Room 104 extremely noisy couldn’t sleep all night. Its directy on a side alley very loud at night the windows are NOT sounds proof. Old bed also was nousy when moving aound during the night.

If they’re offering you any rooms located/facing that street alley, I suggest taking an other room if sleeping at night is important.

We came last year, it was fine! We had a room on an higher floor. This year experience was not great!

Friendly and chic boutique hotel conveniently right on a main street, steps from metro stop and the charming streets of the Gothic Quarter. The updated interior and double windows made it such a peaceful, relaxing, comfortable stay. The lobby was really inviting as a “living room” for hanging out. Loved the delicious Nespresso and Ritual bath products in room, and AC worked well. Small rooftop bar was a nice getaway for evening views. Would highly recommend and hope to return!

Great location, across from the Roman Wall, a couple of blocks to La Rambles. Hotel great for setting up cabs to more distant places like Parc Guell. Friendly staff. My only minor complaints were that they had only one device to convert to US electric devices like phone chargers. Pretty rooftop bar, nice seating but the walls were not glass so while sitting you could not see the fabulous view.

The room was on the smaller side, but the views of the city were absolutely stunning and made up for the space. I really loved the bathroom—it was clean, modern, and well-maintained.
