The room was fine and the location is convenient to public transportation. Unfortunately, the night front-desk staff were rude and unhelpful. As international travelers, we felt unwelcome and treated like an inconvenience. When I asked for a small amount of salt to gargle for a severe sore throat—during winter holidays with no pharmacies open—the response was dismissive and begrudging. A vending machine also took my money without dispensing the item; I was told I would be refunded, which never happened. Also, our room felt super cold. The temperature felt off.

The room was good. Since we had stayed at the same hotel chain in Barcelona, the room here was almost exactly the same as the one in Barcelona. The room size for four people was a bit small, but it was acceptable.

The hotel offered free parking, which was a big advantage. However, the breakfast was not as good as the Barcelona branch’s. It was very crowded, somewhat disorganized, and had less variety. Other than that, everything else was good.

The property was in a great location near two malls that make ones in the US look old. Due to the extreme heat during our stay, the A/C wasn’t up to the task so the room was always very hot, but they provided a fan so that helped. The room was small so with three people it was a bit tight. Overall it served its intended purpose. The provided breakfasts were great.

Very clean, excellent customer service but kind of far from downtown, if you plan to use the metro, the station is about 7 minutes walking. If you have a car they have plenty of parking and is a safe area, we explore the city of Alcorcón, we had a nice run at the park and enjoyed some of the local and traditional food and tapas!

You could not ask for better staff at a hotel. The ladies working the front counter were brilliant and deserve a raise. The hotel however is very old and rundown. Signs have faded on the highways so bad, you don’t know if it is a holiday inn. The floor boards are falling apart, bathroom fixtures are broke. I would suggest new ownership or remodel the hotel.

If I could give no stars, I would. This property is a 45 minute train ride (2 separate fares needed) and a 10 minute walk from the train station. Broken glass on sidewalks, streets littered with trash. To reach the hotel, you walk through a BMW dealership driveway to arrive at the Holiday Inn Alcorcon-Madrid. Horrible, nowhere in the description does it state this.

Staying here was fine. It was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. There were several small maintenance issues we came across, none of them terrible but it cheapened the experience. Things like loose screws in towel rods, lifting vinyl tiling in bathrooms, etc. The continental breakfast was sufficient but nothing special. The location was a little difficult to navigate but on foot, there is a large shopping mall within 5 minutes with restaurants and shopping/theater. Overall, not a bad experience but certainly nothing to write home about. I would stay here again if I needed something quick and inexpensive, but if I wanted to spend quality time in my hotel I would need someone else.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location outside the city center with the ease of parking, but 5 minutes walking to the train and less than 25 minutes train ride to the city center Atocha. From Atocha, it is then easy access to most of the interesting spots of visiting. Very nice and helpful staff, nice breakfast included. Clean and quiet room. about 8 minutes of walking to a shopping mall. To summarize, very good value for money. highly recommended. The only draw back is bad wifi connection and not repaired even after two tries.

Everything was excellent but so so breakfast

Everything was as expected, except for breakfast. We were there for 3 nights and everyday we saw eggs in the breakfast sign but none of those mornings we got to see the eggs. I’m still waiting for them

Overall i thought that thenproperty was good. However, the room that I was given was definately NOT for 4 people. It is too small and we were on top of one another. The room lacked proper air conditioning and with 4 people we were cramped in. If it was only 2 people it would have been comfortable. The breakfast was VERY good and very comfortable setting. The parking was very tight during one of the mights due to a wedding reception next door and rhe parking stall are really small. This needs to be consider if fu our driving a car. Overall, it was worth it, but it should not be sold as rooms for more than 2 people.

Good, but not great.

The service was good, but the attendants' English speaking wasn't great. The bathrooms have this strange half glass swinging door-thing. It seems to replace a shower curtain, but it doesn't hold the water in that well.
The couch was uncomfortable too, but we didn't spend much time on it anyways.

Good hotel to stay at. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Breakfast was good but basic, eggs were not available everyday. Close to underground and the train So it’s easy to get to Madrid. Easy on and off the highway. Would stay here again.

Great service and clean hotel!!

The service was amazing! Very friendly staff and clean hotel. We had breakfast included and it was good! The only thing that could be improved is the quality of the pillows and the mattresses. They were very hard, even though the staff tried to give us softer pillows, it was still uncomfortable.

Great stay!

Really good stay. The colleagues were very helpful and accommodating - spoke english well so that was helpful - my spanish is sketchy!

Room was clean, functional. Bathroom fully equipped, all consumables full and good quality. Towels changed every day. Was a little surprised the bathroom had a frosted glass that you could make out if someone was in there - bit odd in a twin room. But no biggie.

Bed was comfortable. Made up every day by very polite cleaners. Changed my sheets once after I accidentally spilt my coffee over it. Iron was available when I used my bank card as a deposit. Worked well, ironing board was a bit small thought so I improvised!

Breakfast was plenty - we didn’t have a cooked one so can’t comment.

We were visiting for a gathering in the restaurant next door so didn’t really get out and about.

Located just outside of Zone B, this hotel is pretty far away from everything a typical tourist woould want to see, so unless you have a car, transportation into the city can be a pain. However, if you're looking for an American mall experience, there is a rather large one located within walking distance.
