This is hardly two-star hotel, pictures posted are misleading.
You can hear each and every car on the street as well as guest taking shower in nearby rooms. On top of all beds are extremely uncomfortable and very old.

Hotel front desk staff are very nice and professional. They are helpful, friendly and always provide their goods service. Very friendly. I have several nights at here and stayed in two different rooms. Hotel rooms are lack of maintenance. Wash basin and shower tank are clogged, electric sockets broke, cupboard under sink is broke. Carpet in corridors are broke in some parts too. Lights in public area are weak, almost like no lights. I think overall hotel lack of good management in facilities. Not really agree it is 4 stars hotel. Good things are spacious rooms, beds are comfortable, towels are clean. There are supermarkets and some restaurants are nearby within walking distance, about 7 mins walk.

Cost approx 20 euros to get to centre of Madrid by uber.

There was a drawer missing in the bathroom cabinet. The safe was impossible to open (also no directions and it seem like one of the key was missing). The shower doesn’t indicate which side is the hot or cold water and the water floods from under the metal ring. The bed sheet and pillows had huge yellow stain right in the middle of the bed. Lastly the floors make this awful sound when you stepped on them as if the tile were loose underneath. And let’s not forget the hallways were almost pitch dark. The only good thing we’re the maids (cleaners). Also there’s nobody to neither open the door nor assist you with your luggage.

An oriental taste of luxury for a budget price
Arriving at the hotel I was greeted by a friendly English Speaking member of staff and his Spanish Speaking colleague. Very professional. Check in was smooth, room extremely spacious and very opulent in the Eastern Sense (Hotel has Chinese owners so everything is over the top but nice). i stayed in three rooms in total over a few nights - there is a choice of firm or luxury soft bed, and everythinng is very new, although some minor maintenance matters were pointed out such as a loose tile in my first room and two rooms with fridges that did not work, however both were fixed immediately, as well as a loose shower head and everything was perfect. Its actually incredible value for money and if you are fussy and want something fixed the staff are more than abiding and get the job done very professionally. They even lent me an iphone charger and accommodated a very late return checkin after midnight as the reception is open 24/7. Id have to say Im looking forward to staying there again in the future. Parking was free as was the internet also.

FRIENDLY HOTEL
WE CHECKED INTO HOTEL ON 14TH OCTOBER 2017 TILL 18TH. STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL WHEN WE CHECKED IN. ROOM WAS VERY NICE, CLEAN AND SPACIOUS. OPENED THE CURTAINS ONLY TO SEE SCAFFOLDING ALL AROUND. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THAT AS NOWHERE DID IT MENTION THAT THE HOTEL WAS A BUILDING SITE OTHERWISE WE WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED HERE.
THE STAFF NEED TO BE MADE AWARE OF THE SURROUNDING AREAS AS THEY WERE NOT VERY CLEAR ABOUT THE TAXI FARE OR HOW FAR ANYTHING WAS.

THE POOR STAFF BROUGHT A BUCKET AND MOP BUT TO NO AVAIL. AFTER AN HOUR OR SO, SOMEONE IN MANAGEMENT CAME TO ASSESS THE SITUATION AND OFFERED US ANOTHER ROOM TO SLEEP IN. WE WERE MEANT TO CHECK OUT AT 12PM THAT DAY BUT LUCKY FOR US, MANAGEMENT ALLOWED US TO STAY TILL 3PM.
THE BREAKFAST WAS OK, NEVER MUCH OF A CHOICE BUT THE COFFEE WAS GOOD.
OVERALL, THE HOTEL WOULD REALLY BE NICE IF IT WAS MAINTAINED WELL. HOPEFULLY WITH THE WORK UNDERWAY THINGS WILL IMPROVE. I WOULD CHECK TO SEE HOW MUCH IT HAS IMPROVED IF I WAS TO BOOK AGAIN.

THE FIRST TIME WE USED THE SHOWER IT FLOODED BUT WAS OK AFTER.
ON TUESDAY NIGHT EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING IT RAINED HEAVILY AND I WOKE UP VERY EARLY AT WHAT I THOUGHT WAS THE SHOWER RUNNING. BUT IT WAS WATER COMING INTO OUR ROOM FROM THE CEILING BY THE DOOR. THE POOR STAFF BROUGHT A BUCKET AND MOP BUT TO NO AVAIL. AFTER AN HOUR OR SO, SOMEONE IN MANAGEMENT CAME TO ASSESS THE SITUATION AND OFFERED US ANOTHER ROOM TO SLEEP IN. WE WERE MEANT TO CHECK OUT AT 12PM THAT DAY BUT LUCKY FOR US, MANAGEMENT ALLOWED US TO STAY TILL 3PM.
THE BREAKFAST WAS OK, NEVER MUCH OF A CHOICE BUT THE COFFEE WAS GOOD.
OVERALL, THE HOTEL WOULD REALLY BE NICE IF IT WAS MAINTAINED WELL. HOPEFULLY WITH THE WORK UNDERWAY THINGS WILL IMPROVE. I WOULD CHECK TO SEE HOW MUCH IT HAS IMPROVED IF I WAS TO BOOK AGAIN.
IF THE IMPROVEMENTS WERE OF A HIGH STANDARD THEN I WOULD DEFINITELY COME BACK AGAIN

Era increíblemente malo, se suponía que era un hotel de 4 estrellas y os puedo decir que he estado mejor en un Riad(hotel) de marruecos por 16 eur la noche no había agua caliente había que esperar 10 min a qué saliera, malos olores, no había detalles de te, café o algo así como si lo hay en la mayoría y más un 4 estrellas hacia mucho frío en la habitación aunque se supone que la podías poner tú mismo el termómetro marcaba 30 grados pero hacia frío, no repetiré en ese hotel y menos en la app de hoteles.com en general a sido una muy mala experiencia con deciros que era más cómodo dormir en el suelo que en la cama.

Solicite en el apartado de peticiones un cambio de una cama doble por dos individuales al reservar la habitacion, y cuando llegué el cambio estaba hecho asi que muy eficientes, el personal muy amable y la habitación cómoda.
El personal de la cafeteria muy agradable tambien. Lo único que me chocó es que en la descripción del hotel aparecía que tenía parking y no fue asi, aunque hay sitio de sobra donde aparcar en la calle.

El hotel en si esta bien lo unico que por la noche muche gente hasta la 1 de la noche gente hablando i jugando. Ademas toda la noche hasta las 6 de la mañana se oye la musica de una discoteca que debe estar cerca y no hemos podido dormir en toda la noche. I al comentarlo en recepcion por la mañana nos comentan que ya lo saben que en toda la planta baja se oye la musica y que si el dia que llegamos el chico de recepcion si no nos lo dijo.
