The room was clean and as showed in the pictures. The breakfast was very nice. Cereal, scrambled eggs, pastries, ham, cheese, etc. the hotel is very close to the train station and only 20 minutes to Madrid city centre (Sol station). Please bear in mind that to take the “Cercanías” train is a different system than metro so you will need to have 2 different cards.

The breakfast buffet was really good, the space is very clean, and very close to a train station, less than 5 minutes walking and only takes 15 minutes to get the city center station. The hotel front desk staff was not very friendly and the image doesn't necessarily match the actual place, but it is still very clean and good space. The bed was not super comfortable for us but it was still overall a good stay.

We didn’t realize that this hotel was also a place that rooms for university students. Not that it was bad, the whole vibe felt like a university dormitory so it brought back memories of our student lifestyle.
The rooms were cleaned and spacious for our suitcases. The breakfast were alright, honestly, it was like a cafeteria style. They had a laundromat in the basement but with limited machines as the students line up to use it as well. The hotel was only a 5 minute walk away from the metro station.
There’s a small supermarket nearby too.
The staff were kind and helpful. They helped us reserve a shuttle for our early morning flight.
The only thing observation was that the cleaning staff barely clean under the beds, as my shoes would be getting lots of dust. I think they only vacuum and mop where we walk on but not under the beds.
Overall, it was good stay and convenient near Rome for us to visit. We recommend this place.

It was an amazing place to stay and i hope to visit there more. We have been able to explore the area more this time and know where to shop and nice architecture. I like the garden infront of the hotel. Gym equipment needs upgrading as some of them are not in working order. Otherwise an excellent place to stay if you are a lover of Madrid.

This hotel is fine. The area around it not so much. The Renfe train getting to Sol is good but getting back is a pain. Don't ever get on train if it says Perla you will get lost and waste money. Also short cab rides vary for instance from Villaverde Alto subway. One day it was 12, and the next it was 18. Cab ride from center of Madrid to hotel varies as well one time it was 48 and the next it was 30. All cab scenarios was not about time it just seemed to charge different. Walking to subway is good workout but I would avoid at night. Also sleep late nothing starts happening till 11 or noon. All in all a solid B plus from my scorecard but I'm optimistic. If you are high maintenance maybe stay different location. Cheers!

I will start with what i didn’t like, The hotel locate in a industrial zone far from everything and surrounded by prostitution ladies in every corner. I had to give my phone to my kids to keep them entertained so they dont see those nudes ladies.
No free under ground parking got it pay. I was never able to park in the hotel propertie because it was always full of construction minivans.
No iron, also had to pay 10 euro.
The bed sheets that they use had alot of fluff which made my clothes uncomfortable.

I have no complaints regarding Vertice Roomspace Madrid. It was affordable and the staff was helpful and polite. This hotel served as a general upgrade from a hostel type environment without breaking the bank and the room I stayed in was clean and modern. If you looking for a quite place to stay so skip this hotel. We changed the room twice and we felt like the walls is made of paper, extremely noisy so you can hear clearly every small detail of the rooms around you. I never had like this before. But otherwise everything else was ok.

The bad: overpriced for the service. Rooms are small and not that confortable. OK for a university/college student lifestye. Walk from train station to Hotel goes through an a not so nice area.
The good: 5 min walk to San Cristobal Industrial train station, 3 stops from Atocha (main station in Madrid) that's about 15 min train ride to the center. The breakfast is actually quite decent, the bar/restaurant has good service as well.

A Nightmare - Prostitutes and all
What can I say. I used Expedia to book our flights and in order to get a cheaper price for the flight we had to book a hotel. So Expedia recommended Vertice. We were only going to use the hotel for the last night in Madrid and were flying out early the next morning,.
On our way over to the Hotel it was obvious that the hotel is in a remote and isolated part of Madrid. As we were approaching the hotel the cab driver advised us to not walk around the area at night. He pointed out the Prostitutes on the corner but said they were nice and friendly girls (I kid you not).
This was a no frills hotel but again for one night we thought it would be ok. We took two rooms and my room wreaked of cigarette smoke even though we were told it was a non-smoking room. While walking in the sterile hallways I heard a couple having sex in next room - they were loud.
I was in the room no more than 5 minutes and decided this was not a safe place for anyone to stay so we checked out and went to another Hotel in the heart of the City for only 30 Euros more...
I was shocked and very disappointed at Expedia for recommending such a place that was not clean or safe. Shame on you Expedia!!!

We stayed for Mad Cool Festival and this was only a 10-15 min taxi ride (costing between €11-30 depending on time of day). I would recommend downloading the Cabify app which is better than Uber in Spain for getting there and back.
Great cafe downstairs and corner shops close by for snacks. Otherwise not many other facilities in the close area.
