The hotel is marketed as 4 star but in reality it is between 2 and 3 stars. The rooms are a good size, with very comfortable beds and good quality linen. They were also very clean.
The room did not have any decor and lacked amenities.
The air conditioning was not great, the shower had to be fixed and the safe did not work. The hotel lacks character. The first thing you see on entry is an Amazon delivery locker and vending machines.
The decor is basic and it feels more like a hostel rather than a hotel. The Ibis which is next door is a 3 star but had live music, a bar and restaurant.
Staff were friendly and breakfast was good. We still enjoyed our stay but the hotel needs to be marketed as what it is to avoid disappointment.

May stay at B&B hotel Getafe

We stayed for 4 nights. The rooms were modern and clean. The breakfast was more than I expected. Lovely fresh orange juice, cold meats , some cooked items and lots of breads and croissants. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was clean, safe and the staff was lovely. They have coffee free 24 hours a day which was a big plus. The only thing that was negative was that they had no air conditioning and no screens on the windows and the room got rather hot overnight..

No basic amenities in the room and seemed very petty and stingy. There’s no kettle in the room or basic stuff. The staff doesn’t understand english and skeptical about the coffee machine on the common floor/area. Even a hot glass of water is kind of checked to what you are using during the breakfast hour. We needed hot water for the baby and tea and there’s no kettle in the room so felt super inconvenient getting it from the main/common floor. During our stay we noticed better properties around the area and closer to downtown in the similar price range. Would not recommend

Disappointed, I was given a room connected by a door with other room with no isolation, so we have to listen the conversations from the other people until they decided to go to sleep to then also the a/c was not working and had to open the window to at least breathe and got the noise of the highway. Towels in bad condition. The night tables are a glass that require from you to be careful to not to get hurt specially at middle of the night, please consider the starts rating is confusing

We booked this hotel for the parking and it being outside of Madrid so I would not have to drive into Madrid itself. It was a 5 minute walk to rail station (very easy access to Madrid)and 10 minute to Getafe centre. It had basic facilities in reception bar etc but room although small was beautiful. If I could have got the bed quilt and pillow in my case I would have!! 24 hr free coffee facility in cafe area a nice touch. It was quite industrial outside but as we were only sleeping there (which we done very well)! It was ideal for what we needed.

The breakfast was substandard (they claimed to be a four star hotel). The first day, the coffee machine was not working and practically all food has been finished when I arrived (it was only 8:15 am). The second day, I wake up earlier and all food was still available. However, the coffee was quite bad and cheese and other cold cuts were not of the quality that one expect for a four starts hotel. Therefore, I cannot recommend the breakfast. On the other had, the room was clean and service was friendly.

Excellent choice for overnight stopover. Good access to motorway network and we were able to park the car safely in their free underground car park and take the train into the city centre for under 8€ for 2 return. Had an excellent Spanish meal in the city centre and back to hotel for a good night's sleep. Only one small problem room was narrow and the legs on the bed stuck out and my poor husband stubbed his toes on them.

It was a pleasant stay. The hotel is very good value for money.The room was very clean and the bathroom as well.
The breakfast was also good .The area is safe, there are bars and supermarkets near by.
The staff members were very helpful and friendly. They wanted to make sure everything was ok with the room and our stay.
I definetely recommend the hotel. It is a budget hotel but it definetely has everything you need. I would come back to this hotel .

Very nice place to stay, minutes away from train station, metro well organized
Overall hotel is good place to stay, we spend a week no complaints, they offer breakfast but it wasn't what I was expecting. I will recommend for sleeping.

The location is excellent if you want to stay outside of the city. GOOD!! The second and last night the air conditioning stop working (the temperature was hot), I told the guy at the counter when I did the checkout. I expected a compensation for that, but he didn't tell me anything about that.

Enjoying couple of days in Getafe

I went to Spain to visit a friend and we stayed at this hotel and I really liked it! It is located at about four blocks from the train station. A few blocks from there there is an excellent restaurant call el rincon de Julia. The food fabulous! And of course, there is not much night life in September.

Not fast access to city center of Madrid!

The hotel is okay in average but it is kind of far away from city center of Madrid. It takes like 30 Minutes by car to reach in Madrid. In addition, there is many free car parks in the streets. Plus, the breakfast service does not look very complete!

We chose this hotel because of it's proximity to Getafe campus of UC3M. It's relatively cheap but there's not much going on in the vicinity. It is in a predominantly residential area close to two supermarkets and convenience stores. The room does not have coffee arrangement but offers free bottled water in the refThe restaurant is not fully staffed but offers quick fix that takes forever. Front desk explained that she's the only one on duty. They ran out of glass and we're told to bring our own glass from the room if we need hot water for coffee. It's a good 15 min walk fr the train station .You need a B1 metro ticket to get to the city center. Overall, the hotel is clean & comfortable.

I spent 3 nights at the H2, it was pretty disappointing. The food options were not that great, and with no food within walking distance I felt kind of stuck with my choices. Dinner one night was Sunny Side up Eggs with French Fries. AC was turned off so I had to sleep with my window open because my room was over 90 degrees, in March.

We visited the H2 as a group of 5 with 3 rooms booked. On arrival we were greeted in English with a really friendly welcome. As we had not visited before the receptionist explained what facilities were included in the room rate. Free wi-fi included. The rooms are well appointed and quiet at the back of the hotel where ours were. The bathroom was particularly spacious including a bidet. Also a powerful shower which is unusual for a hotel!
Coming back onto the meal in the evening this was the only time that we felt the hotel let itself down. Upon arrival we were given the set menu priced at E10.95 (there were no other options). We were given approx. 5 minutes to make our minds up. We then had to choose all 3 courses (including sweet) at the same time. A little strange we thought. Anyway the starters came and were OK. The main course we all decided on Turkey and frites. Those of you familiar with Bernard Matthews turkey roll will understand when I say that is exactly what was served including the horrible skin that is wrapped around the edges. There were 2 slices and it was completely bland and tasteless. We were hungry so we ate it all anyway. 2 of our party were still finishing our final mouthful when the waitress whisked the plates away and proceeded to serve the ice cream in 5 yoghurt style pots. It was basically a mousse but tasted OK. Our recommendation would be to eat elsewhere as the whole meal was rushed (42 mins from sitting down to finishing)

I had a meeting at the Getafe campus of Uc3M in June 2013, and ended up choosing this hotel for its proximity to the campus. I stayed 3 nights there. On the one hand, its proximity to the campus is attractive. However, the service is pretty bad. The bath tub was clogged, and they did not seem to consider this an emergency (I had to wait for another day to take a shower). They claim WiFi in rooms, but the connectivity was so bad (I ended up connecting from the reception area). The restaurant has a mediocre menu. Won't stay again. Some of my colleagues stayed in downtown Madrid, and took the train (20 min) to Getafe. I'll do that next time.

Más que ser un hotel de 4* se queda en un 3* tirando a 2*, las habitaciones muy bien y la limpieza pero la recepción por ejemplo es más de un bed and breakfast y el desayuno escaso, he estado antes en ese hotel cuando era él H2 Getafe y ni comparación. Encima para lo que ha sido 70€ carísimo, hay hotel de 4* por el mismo precio y muchísimo mejor

Apesar de ficar próximo de Madri e ter boas instalações, a limpeza do hotel Getafe deixa a desejar. A área de café da manhã, apesar de variado, é desorganizado e tinha aparência de sujo. Faltava guardanapo, colher... Além da recepção não ser prestativa e agradável.

La limpieza del hotel es mejorable. Se observa suciedad en la moqueta, debajo de las camas, … El baño estaba limpio. El aire acondicionado no enfriaba mucho y daba mucho ruido. Abrir la ventana, tiene el inconveniente que frente al hotel hay obras de pisos y además entran los mosquitos. El personal muy amable para todo lo que se le necesite.

Desde que es B&B, están cambiando cosas. Ya no tienes la botella de agua en la nevera, y tampoco ponen útiles de aseo. Y me ha dado la impresión de que próximamente el.parking va a dejar de ser gratuito. He estado en hoteles de 3 estrellas mucho mejor equipados. Como no mejoren, no vuelvo a venir.

Un hotel muy normalito.Limpieza y personal bien.El único inconveniente el parking es compartido con otro establecimiento puede entrar quien quiera realmente,y es muy estrecha la entrada si llevas coche grande es muy complicado entrar y encima te dicen que no se hacen responsables de lo q le pueda pasar al coche.Vamos igual que si lo dejaras en la calle no tienes mucha tranquilidad en ese aspecto. Por todo lo demás bien.

El hotel está situado en Getafe. Las instalaciones están un poco deterioradas. Los mayores inconvenientes fueron que el personal de limpieza no paró de molestar con las aspiradoras imposibilitando el descanso después de lo tarde que llegamos. Escogimos por comodidad pagar el desayuno, unos 13 euros. Carísimo y escasísimo, pensábamos que un hotel de cuatro estrellas tendría, al menos, desayuno caliente elaborado y para nada fue así. Simples croisants y pan para tostadas más que normalitas. El personal de desayuno muy amable. En resumen, hotel muy caro para las pocas prestaciones que tenía.
