We were however very upset about the choice of this location for our travel needs.
The Expedia agent I worked with when our plans changed about staying in downtown Madrid to staying one night near the airport before our flight to Amsterdam. Not knowing the city, I relied on the agent's skill to make an appropriate choice. This hotel was in the exact opposite of the area we needed and consequently it cost us an extra 50 Euros to get to the airport and through horrendous traffic early in the morning!. I am sure I will be a long time before trusting an agent with Expedia.

Walls were paper thin, more than once when the people in the next room. Entered or exited their room we thought someone was actually entering ours, it sounded the same. The bed was really firm, normally my preference but this felt like sleeping on a floor. The location is only good if you are going to the outlets next door, otherwise its a fair distance from anything else, and not the \"close to downtown \" hotels.com saod it was when I booked. Good staff and free breakfast were the main redeeming qualities.

Really enjoyed our one night stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Getafe. It's just off the main road, but no noise. Easy free parking. You are literally a one minute walk away from a really good outlet style shopping centre, which is open from 10am-10pm. There are several resturants nearby on the outskirts of the shopping centre including a well known burger restaurant. They are all within easy walking distance of around 5-6 mins. The hotel itself is clean with good staff. The all important thing to me is the bed. The beds are comfortable, they are not hard and not soft, just right. Breakfast is adequate, cannot complain as it's free. Coffee/Tea cups are small, so grab two at the same time. Cooked breakfast options limited to bacon, scrambled egg and Spanish Omelette on our visit. I would certainly recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The tub was dirty had rust all around. I didn’t add one of my daughters by mistake which yes I get it my mistake but they made us pay €140 more just to allow her to stay with us a 1 year old had to pay an additional 140 we didn’t have any other place to go so we just had to pay it we all fit in the one room we had reserved but with this new add they made us get an additional room. The floors had stains and didn’t feel clean our socks were dirty from walking around. The sheets and blankets had holes. Over all will probably not go back to this hotel if we go back to Madrid.

Easy to check in, friendly staff, good continental breakfast selection, late check out, room very clean, shower powerful, air conditioning in the room was very good on the first night but for some reason not as cold on the second.
The only complaint is the sound deadening isn’t the best and the rooms next to mine and across the hall had noisy families with kids running up and down the halls screaming at 7am and TV on loud till after midnight.

We booked a king bed and it stated that on reservations. When we got there and went to room, we had two twin beds. I went to explain and staff stated on reservations, a king was preferred....and I said exactly, that's why we booked it. She went on to say that they were booked and I said I'm not sure what that has to do with me. Seeing how she could tell I was about to change tunes, she magically found a king bed, for tonight...then after we couldn't get air conditioner to work, she had to come up and low and behold, there was a second night with a king bed.

The best thing about this hotel is the friendly staff and their willingness to go the extra mile to help you, we arrived early and they allowed us to check in so we were able to rest and take a little nap after a long flight from the USA , but I feel I was overcharged for a very tiny room we could barely walk around ( we had a double bed and a sleeping sofa) the price per night was initially on the wecite $105 or so but at check out I didn’t realize the charge me $75 in taxes and fees I tried to reverse the booking and book 2 rooms ( might as well spend a little extra and be more comfortable) but the agent from Hotels.com told me I can’t , so be careful before you approve the charge please examin the fees and taxes cuz I was unhappy about that, the hotel is away from the city center but next door to a big mall and carefour , which I didn’t care for but that was the only availablity at that time ,it wasn’t an issue for us as we had a car but we had to look for parking when we went to the city center, we had so much fun in Madrid

This hotel is next door to outlet shopping malls. Lots of places to shop and eat and tons of parking. We took the local bus to the me to Metro train Station and we were at the city centre (Sol) withing 25 minutes.

EXCELLENT free breakfast (ham and other meats everyday, cheese, a coffee machine, etc), free wi-fi, free self-parking (an electronic gate separates the hotel parking from the mall parking next door), clean room. As mentioned, next door is an outlet and a mall with a carrefour. Stayed for 4 nights and had no problems...though the ice machine downstairs was broken, the clerk was very happy to give us ice from the kitchen machine.

The location of this hotel is great for an overnight stay - it is situated within the Narcissca shopping complex which has great entertainment and restaurants at night. The hotel is overall fine for a 3 star but can be a bit noisy as you often get lots of noisy children in the hotel !

It is very nice if you need a hotel next to shopping center outside Madrid center and not far from MAD airport with resonable price. You need a car and the self parking is free but you need to know the rooms are small just enough for double bed and sofa !
