Good hotel for our family stay. 10 min walk to metro and then 30 mins on metro to zoo and city centre. Hotel is clean and modern and digital check in works well. Room was spacious enough with modern shower, TV and kitchen area. Only negative was we were not told about pre booking parking so arrived to no spaces and had to park in more expensive parking a few streets over. General area is a ok and supermarket is 5 mins walk

I like Cielo Madrid because it’s clean, spacious room , beautiful rooftop .easy communication with staff even they don’t have a front desk in person. It is 1 block from Metro station. Though it’s not in the center of Madrid but it is very accessible with train and bus. If I come back to Madrid I definitely stay here.

Cielo Madrid studios is a 3 star choice. The reception hours are limited so if you get there after hours, the staff will give you a code for the door. It is then up to you to electronically check in and be given your room card. We were initially confused about the process but then found the language tab to get the English version.

We stayed 3 days and did not get room service. Would have been nice to get a change of towel. Not sure if this was a point we missed with having to put a sign on the door to do so but couldn’t find anything in the room.

The rooms are clean and modern. Bathroom small but functional albeit the fan that continually turned on when you moved.

This is not an upmarket area of Madrid. It is marketed as the SOHO of Madrid. We found some gorgeous places to eat about 5 mins away which weren’t the Hungry Jacks or commercial choices. Really good food with attentive staff.

Mixed feeling - Self service that needs a lil more

Property was clean, looked well maintained, provided the basics in the room however it lacked information and support you would need to know when travelling.

It is all self serve and they had no checkin or help desk. Our room was meant to be assigned 24hrs prior but ours was assigned a couple hours before we were arriving, if you didnt have wifi, you wouldnt be able to access instructions to get into your room.

We had no information on how to get towel and supplies replaced in the room while there.

No info on where to go if you need help/if you need your card replaced etc.

Self service is great and you randomly run into one of the staff in the mornings but if u dont run into them, you dont know where to get stuff.

The property is very nice. Loaded with business travelers.
Did not care for the Security Deposit required, however that keep the clients on the up and up. Mostly fully automated lighting in the whole building. Beautiful rooftop common area for spending quality time. Overall, A Very Nice Hotel.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located near a metro station, with comfortable rooms that made for a pleasant stay. While there was no daily service, it wasn’t an issue for me. However, parking was challenging, as I had to park far from the hotel. On checkout day, my room keys were deactivated at 11 am, which delayed retrieving my bags. Despite these minor inconveniences, it was a good value for the price paid.

Still under construction.

The shower had no doors installed so the entire bathroom floor got wet. There is a motion detector spotlight that you can’t turn off and is extremely sensitive. Every time you move in bed the light turns on. The room is nice, but it seems like it’s brand new and finishing touches are not complete. They should have waiting until it was finished to rent it out.

It is a little bit far from downtown and in an average community. A lot of smell of garbage all around the street. Not far for a grocery store and subway station 45 min to the train station and about same for the air port. Easy acces. I feel secure staying there.

Check in was inconvenient as there is no reception, and the check in machine has a bug that I filled out info twice before it gave me the room key. The unit is clean and modern, albeit tiny. There is no condiments or cooking oil if you are planning to use the kitchen. It is good for single or double occupancy but too small for a family.

Great Hidden Gem

It is a very modern hotel in the middle of a busy neighborhood. We really liked it. The second bathroom was definitely a bonus for us. The communication could have been better but that in no way takes away from our stay. The receptionist is also one of the housekeepers and so if you arrive before check-in you will need to ring the bell to get in. Our email stated that we would receive check in codes 24 hours prior to check-in time but we received them after check-in time. However, there are lockers on site to store your luggage if you arrive too early. Just know that they cost a refundable 1Euro. It was a holiday and banks were closed so we had a time trying to get coins. We finally used our card at the ATM, which charged an exorbitant price and then bought something from the corner store. We would definitely stay here again.

The suites building was nice but the location or area its shady. Several uber drivers told us to be careful during the night. To go to the Madrid center area (main attractions) you need to take uber or taxi ($16 or 14 euro approx). There was no one attending the front desk only a machine. Only one day we found someone and we asked for additional towels and indicated they were located in a drawer on the lobby. If you are staying one or two nights for work its ok but more nights with family i will recommend staying closer to Madrid center.

The hotel is very nice and modern. It was comfortable and clean. It was conveniently located a short distance from a Metro station. Entrance was via a door code given to you earlier in the day and a code was provided to acquire the room key from a machine. You’re required to authorize 100 euros on your credit card as a deposit against any damage to the room. No money was actually withdrawn from my account. They had lockers to store luggage if needed that required a coin, which was returned when you opened it with the key. Fortunately when we checked in there was someone at the desk to help me in my jet-lagged state to get the room key and deal with the luggage lockers. The two employees we dealt with were very helpful, but often there was no one there.

Great Hotel Among Locals

For those of you who want a room in the center of it all, this is not the place for you, but it was perfect for us because we like living among the locals and o not mind a short subway ride. I highly recommend CIELO Madrid Studios. The hotel is in a local blue-collar neighborhood with a terrific selection of restaurants, supermarkets, bars, barbershops, nail salons and friendly people.

We stayed in the Cuzco room which comes with a kitchenette, ample closet space, a microwave, safe (albeit tiny) couch and comfortable bed.
The only correction I would add is better check-in communication. We did NOT receive instructions twenty-four hours in advance as advertised and that made us uneasy. We were lucky enough to be allowed in by a guest and during our six-hour wait was able to use the rear area to work and relax as that area had desks, a bathroom and storage lockers. The hotel is absolutely stringent about prohibiting early check-ins so when we left early we made a point of communicating that we left at 7:00 am and recommended that our room be cleaned first so as to allow an early check-in for a subsequent guest. The hotel should consider allowing early arriving guests entrance to the first floor while they are waiting.

All that said, this hotel will be first on our list for our future flights to Madrid.

Very easy check-in and check-out policy. Everything is self service, and since we arrived quite late, we just let the team know through the contact number they provided (very fast responses too). We wanted to leave our bags in the very convenient lockers by the lobby after checking out, and they provided us with a new access code to get back in the building. Room was nice and spacious, though the bed was not as big as what we expected. We went off-season, so it was pretty quiet despite being on the ground floor right next to the street. We were warned in advance that we were being given a wheelchair-accessible room (just the way it turned out, not that we needed this) where the shower area was not fully complete in the realised design. It was quite difficult to keep the water from getting everywhere, but this may be one of the issues they're working on fixing.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed. It was clean but our room smelled like someone had smoked in it and it was cleaned, but there was some residual smell. Other than that it was great! A few minute walk to the subway station, a bakery and several small restaurants even closer than the subway station. The staff was very friendly and the hotel felt secure as the front door to the building was locked behind your hotel room key as well.

Excellent property but FALSE ADVERTISING on Location. Address on booking website shows a Very Central location of Puerta del Sol, the main plaza in Madrid, not the case. This apartment is located WAY southwest of the city. The apartment itself was excellent, very modern and clean. Except for the broken elevator for 2 days. The location has a Subway 7 mins away(Oporto) but DEFINITELY not Puerta del Sol. You're given the exact address 45 mins before 2 pm check in :(

Curtains too short in bedroom and falling off. Advertise the fact the tiles in bathroom are designer but other itemw seemed tatty and cheap.

A nice “Ikea” hotel in a very far-off location

Pros: Brand new apartment-suites hotel, Ikea type. Comfortable bed and shower.
Cons: No cleaning service nor changing towels during stay. Kitchen did not work. Only person on site needs to be more friendly. Location is far away from touristic attractions, did not feel safe, although 4 blocks from Oporto metro station.

The studio is very clean and we particularly liked the rooftop terrace where we brought our dinner and ate there. There were some minor annoying points. Before arriving we had to register our passport details, however we were sent a link where property owners had to register their properties and everything was ONLY in Spanish. After sending several messages asking for help and the correct link, we were just repeatedly told to register.. Also, there were no towels in our room, but that was promptly fixed. The property is modern and nice, deposit boxes are there for late check-in and check-out options. Overall, we would stay there again in the future.

Nice apartment within easy reach of metro/bus

A nice modern apartment at affordable price, with easy access to local shops and cafes and some restaurants.
Metro (Oporto) is 10 mins walk and various bus lines nearby, making it easy to travel without a car.
The metro network is fast and easy to use, so highly recommend for getting in/out if the Madrid Center.

Room is comfortable and quiet. Cooking facilities are pretty good and some free coffee/tea/sugar/washing liquid left for you.

Wifi worked in room 2 very well, and TV had Netflix and other apps preloaded, so you could enter your username/password if you have this at your own home. Just remember to log out before leaving!

Shower very nice and warm.
Aircon works very well and doesn’t need to be on all the time (good insulation) and is quiet when operating.

Front desk friendly and helpful at checkin, although the instructions are excellent in advance of arrival so easy to check in when no-one at front desk (not a 24hr desk).

Nicer than many hotels of higher price.

We really liked this hotel! It was sparklingly clean and comfortable. It's a short walk to the metro station and easy to get to city center from here. It's not my favorite neighborhood in Madrid, but it had everything we needed including a nearby supermarket and restaurants. Overall this place is a great value for the money and we can definitely recommend it!

Buena comunicación con el centro, coges el autobús 34 o 35 y la parada está a 10 minutos andando. El hotel es moderno y muy bonito, el apartamento que nos tocó era muy cómodo incluso para 4 personas. Además el edificio dispone de una terraza en la última planta en la que puedes cenar y pasar el rato que es muy agradable.
Aparcar es fácil de encontrar plaza, es en la calle pero es gratis.
Estuvimos super agusto.

El sofá cama es muy duro. No se puede dar un alojamiento para cuatro cuando dos van a dormir en un sofá muy mejorable.
Además el ruido del aire acondicionado y del ascensor durante toda la noche fue constante.

La limpieza muy bien y la ubicación buena aunque los alrededores normales.

Nos hubiera gustado que tuviera recepcionista, pero llamamos por telefono y nos lo solucionaron todo sin problema.
Nos tocó un apartamento al lado del ascensor y se oia ruido.
Esta muy bien situado, cerca del metro; aparcamos sin problema.

Hotel muy bien comunicado. El apartamento muy comodo, la ducha excelente y lo que más nos gustó la terraza del atico.
