Overall, I think this hotel met our needs, but I wouldn't stay again. The location truly can't be beat, and it was in an absolutely lovely area. The staff were kind and helpful. Our room overall was fine; it was the bathroom that was a bit disappointing. One of the two sliding doors was broken, so the shower couldn't be closed all the way, and there was hair on the shower wall from a previous guest.

The room met our needs, and we only stayed one night. If the bathroom had been better cleaned/maintained, I wouldn't have a single complaint!

The location was great with plenty of things to do nearby. Several food/dining options for every taste. The room could use some work / repair (seemed like water damage on the roof / next to the vents). The safe didnt work and the bed kept moving around because it wasnt fixed to the headboards.

The staff was MAGNIFICENT! Friendly, attentive and helpful. Very knowledgeable! We arrived early and they did accommodate us into a room right away. It was what we ordered,vtwo double beds with a City view. All that was very good. The bad part the mattress was absolutely horrible. When the window was open all you get was the smell of cigarette smoke coming in. My view was of the church that was torn down and currently being rebuilt. When I wanted to go upstairs to the rooftop to have my morning coffee, I was informed that the pool area was closed. It was off season and no one was allowed on top. That was very upsetting to me. I was not there to swim in a pool but to take in the beauty of the city's view.
My suggestion is, spend a little money and buy some NEW mattresses. The rooftop should not be off limits because it's only seasonal. Rooftops offer beautiful views of the city landscape. It should be cherished and used. Add some table and chairs and let your visitors enjoy the city views Imagine being able to enjoy a the gorgeous Madrid sunset. WHAT A WASTE OF SPACE!

The Triple room we had (three Twin beds for two adults and one child) is tiny! There is barely any space to walk. The hotel is otherwise ok. It is clean and less than 10 minutes drive from the Madrid Puerta de Atocha train station.

The hotel and rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only downfall was learning that since the weather was cooler, the AC was turned to heater. We had to sleep with the windows opened all night, which brought in all the noise from either the hotel or streets. And, although they had a pool, it was closed due to the weather. There were days it was raining so we had to stay in. There were no activities to do in the hotel, other than stay in and watch TV. The TV was set only for Spanish speaking. We found other channels speaking in French or German but no English. There was no way of changing the language or being able to connect to our own devices to watch Netflix.
Aside from the above inconveniences, the hotel did offer great breakfast and great location to walk anywhere. And, as I mentioned, the staff were very accommodating.

We arrived early and the receptionist checked us in within a couple of minutes. The room was clean, spacious, and had a safe, refrigerator. The bed was huge and comfortable. Extra pillows and a blanket provided. The cleaning staff cleaned the room early and very well. The breakfast buffet was fresh and had many options. The dining area was spacious. I highly recommend this hotel. Couldn’t have had a better stay.

El hotel está muy bien , pero nunca, nunca coman en la cafetería.. la comida es congelada, de la que se compra en el súper y calentada en el micro, aunque el precio es de restaurante.
No se engañen con la carta, la foto de la misma ni siquiera es del restaurante… el problema se solucionaría si el restaurante no cerrará a las 21:00, ahí si, el desayuno está muy bien, pero nunca alcanzamos a la cena por q recién llegábamos al hotel y ellos estaban cerrando.
La cortesía en el hotel por parte de los funcionarios no tiene que envidiar nada a un 5 estrellas.

Location was great! Walkable distance from the main spots in the centre. Even though there was a festival going on outside, the room itself was quiet and we weren’t disturbed by the festivities outside. Staff was really nice and accommodating. The pool is a little small but the area on the roof terrace was nice and quiet, and a great place to sunbathe or cool down from the heat. Aircon was also a great feature!

Could have sun loungers & hot tubs on them it was so big. Pool was small but a large terrace that you could sit. Spoilt by kids trying to use as a swimming pool as it was so hot. Who brings kids to a major city for holidays. We ended up sitting on our terrace to get peace & quiet. Staff very helpful breakfast was good . Would go back & get a terrace 😁

Let’s start with the positives. The room was very good in size, AC, beds, towels and bedding sheets. The breakfast buffet is great.

Toiletries in the room are almost non existent except the soap and shampoo. No room service either. If you need something you go to the front desk and ask for it and take it to the room. No ice available either.

It’s about a 20 minute walk to the true center at Plaza del Sol. The immediate neighborhood isn’t impressive neither.

At the end of the price per night is above $150 then look for another place. At the price I paid, the value was below expectations.

The hotel is comfortable and clean, the breakfast is good, and access to the metro and buses is convenient. However, I was deeply disappointed by the hotel management’s lack of sensitivity and unwillingness to waive the charge for one of the four nights that were booked and prepaid. It was clearly explained—also through Expedia—that my flight was canceled by the airline and I had to rebook on a different one. As a result, I ended up paying for the same night at hotels in both Madrid and Paris.

While I understand that the booking was non-refundable, this request was for a single night and due to circumstances entirely beyond my control. This is exactly where a hotel manager's judgment and empathy are tested—not just their business mindset.
