Arriving was awkward and confusing because i received incomplete access instructions and there was no one at reception to receive/help me. That aside, I loved the hotel, the staff and the location. Seriously, the staff deserves a 20/10. I would absolutely stay here again!!!

The hotel is well located and reasonably priced. The staff was pleasant but not always there. The rooms were fine. Check-in was a bit challenging because we arrived after staff left for the day and we found the instructions we got were confusing. However, we figured it out and all was well.

Room and hotel is so clean when we arrived, staff is available cause we checked in at 3pm. Note that they don’t always have staff in the front, but they are always available in the screen provided in the main door. Staff are available in person during morning and at night. Felt extremely safe and relaxed in this hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely come back. Access to the property is easy too when you learned how to properly access everything. You have to get the code from the link that they will sent you and use that code to access main doors and rooms. Hotel rooms can be locked as well so it’s safe and nice. Water pressure is good, but don’t waste hot water for nothing. Muchas gracias Hotel Negresco!

The room we rented was quite big and comfortable. Location is close to Plaza Mayor and there were lots of restaurants not in the vicinity but about a 5 minute walk away. Would have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room or at least by reception

The only problem we had was that we were not told that the hotel was on the fifth floor of the building. Luckily there was someone there that told us where it was.

The Hotel itself is very nice, clean and organized. The only thing that I can comment about is there is no big visible sign on the name of the Hotel in front, albeit there is a small one but if you are not detail oriented, you will miss the sign.

Our stay otherwise has been great. It’s near to where the metro is and staff were nice and helpful.

i really liked the room we stayed in, but glad i made the upgrade to a bigger suite. i don’t think i would’ve enjoyed it as much if i hadn’t.
loved the towel warmer and balcony.
it’s a good location just outside of grand via so it’s way less crowded in this area.
my complaint:
staff/receptionist knocked on our door saying to turn down our music. it wasn’t loud at all, we brought a tiny speaker and had it on 30% volume while we showered. we literally only used the speaker one day for maybe 20 minutes before we went out. meanwhile we were woken up at 7 am to a grand piano being practiced in another room/floor? it was an ongoing practice from 7-11 am. overall since the hotel is such a small section of the building, the receptionist were helicoptering.
i come to madrid a lot, i probably wouldn’t book this one again. there are too many great hotels in the area

Unusual hotel stay. There isn’t really a front desk until you take a tiny elevator up 5 flights. The room itself was fine and clean. Couldn’t work the AC so slept with the window open and it was loud. The next morning the electricity was out until time to check out. Location is very good, close to many neighbors and subway stops.

When we got there there was no electricity, our reserved room was given to someone else and had to wait for a room to be available. The wifi was not working and the air conditioner in the unit went out during the stay. Location wise it is well connected to a near metro station and easy to get to city center.

The room was small but very comfortable and luxurious for its size. The building was beautiful.There is an elevator but it is VERY tiny. The location is perfect! We were able to walk everywhere with ease. Plaza Mayor, Reina Sofia Museum, many restaurants to choose from and one of the best Flamenco shows I’ve seen Tablao Flamenco 1911. Really a great hotel.

Room was large (Kingsize bed) and had a small balcony facing the road side. A/C was welcome. Bathroom was very clean & all modern. Room was next to reception desk & noise could be heard with talking in the morning people checking out. Hotel in a great location easily walkable to main sights such as Plaza Major & Puerto Sol. Great location, basic hotel but is unmanned most of the time, night porter has no english and won’t be able to help you.

Comm issues with bills and auto emails saying you have not paid, when you already have. A receptionist is there is mornings but not very helpful or very friendly to be honest.

It gets 4 stars as location was very good, beds and showers were good.

I don’t think this qualifies as a hotel. There aren’t any staff at the property for check-in. You need a code to enter the hotel and then you need to use the code twice more to enter your room. This might not be so bad if we had received the code or were warned that this is not a hotel in the traditional sense. This was very frustrating and stressful. I think that since the hotel is relying on sending a code electronically, they should confirm receipt. The hotel has someone physically at the building for checkout (only until 3:00) and since check-in is after 3:00, you won’t be able to speak to someone in person.

The hotel is in the most excellent location within the walking distance from all the major landmarks. The property is very clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful and polite. Our room was ready well before the check in time. However the rooms are very small. There are no drawers, closets, safe boxes. If you just need a place to stay, it will be perfect.

The location is very convenient. It’s walkable to all the places we wanted to go. There are shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is on the 5th level so you get to see locals staying in other floors. The room is great! It’s spacious, modern, and has basic hotel amenities available. It’s clean and we really enjoyed our stay there. Just a minor nitpick, the walls are thin so you can hear people talking in the lobby which can be loud at times.

Everything was very good. The hotel has an excellent central location with easy access to public transportation, including a direct metro connection to the airport. Most major historical sites are within walking distance. If you walk around 10,000 steps a day, you can easily see almost everything. Overall, a very pleasant stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, which truly made the experience even better.

It’s not a hotel, even less a boutique one. It’s a level in an apartment building, so very airbnb style, but without its advantages (no kitchen, no fridge). Tiny rooms. Very basic. OK for one night, but you may want to look for smth more comfortable for a longer stay.
On a brighter side, it’s clean and centrally located. Staff is polite and responsive.

It's not really a hotel - it's a floor in an apartment building with small rooms. The room itself was very bare-bones, not even a chair to sit on. We were surprised that there was no tea or coffee available, nor even a way to heat up water! Kind of annoying when you are awake early and no coffee place is open nearby until 8 or 9 a.m. They should offer tea/coffee in the common area at least.

We also had no idea that there would be no one available to check us in after hours. They sent a Whatsapp link (with no explanation) that had links to open the front door. fortunately some other guests helped us get into the building and then we were able to get into our room.

The hotel was in a great location and the rooms newly renovated and attractive. The bathrooms were good and beds vety comgortable. The rooms need some basic equipment, like something to put your suitcase on, a benchtop or desk to put things on, tea making equipment.
Also more bedding. We had 1 very thin blanket and they had no more to give us. My room had the hotwater heater inside the room.
The check in process was a disaster, confusing and did not work. Too many confusing emails, messages through Expedia and through WhatsApp. We ended up checking in with reception, which is open limited hours. They use an app instead of keys, which did not work, so when we returned once our rooms were ready, and reception had closed, we had dig through all the emails etc to find a passcode they had also sent. On finally getting into the hotel, I walked in on another guest because I had been given the wrong room number and passcode. We were able to sort this out over the phone. Going on the conversations we overheard with other guests, we were not the only ones having issues with rooms and the key app.
The staff however were very friendly and helpful.

Had requested 2 separate beds was only given a double bed. Management did not make effort to accommodate. Terrible pillows. Elevator is terribly small. Rooms are on 5th floor above resident flats. On one occasion I was waiting downstairs for my son to come down and a “Karen” who I gather lives in one of the flats harassed me saying I had to wait outside. I advised I was a guest and she didn’t care. I had to let her know she was rude. Beware!

Hotel centrico, perfecto para el transporte público + pasear por las zonas de interes.
Hotel localizado dentro de un edificio, con cerraduras que se abren con código o teléfono móvil, perfecto para no preocuparte de perder la llave.
Lo único \"malo\" a destacar, la habitación que me tocó tenia un ligero olor a humedad... No pude visualizar de donde provenía, pero me obligo a tener ventana abierta para ventilar el máximo posible.

Excelente ubicación y limpieza, el personal es ausente porque lo sustituye una aplicación para entrar y salir de las instalaciones, ojo si lo rentan gente no muy hábil con la tecnología se les puede complicar si no llegan de 9am a 3 pm, ya que de 4 a 10pm no hay personal que los reciba. Faltaría que en las habitaciones existiera lugar con más espacio dónde colocar tu equipaje y ropa porque había un tubo de unos 40 cm y una mesa diminuta y más lugares para conectar tu celulares y pilas sólo había un enchufe en toda la habitación.
