The room is spacious, tidy and clean. But it’s a bit inconvenience as towels were not being changed even we stayed for 4 nights. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment. The toilet in the suite cannot be flushed. The soundproof is not quite good. I heard my neighbor arguing. But there are minors. Overall, i like the location, the inside space is perfect.

The room was super clean and comfortable. The air conditioning system was functioning very well. It has a small kitchen but with all rhe necessary appliances to make our day breakfast, because we just explore new restaurants each day of our stay. The property is located in the middle of two supermarkets that have everything you need. We spent $50 buying groceries to prepare our breakfast during one week and we were amazed about how cheap is the food compared with our hometown. In addition, you just cross the street and you are in the entrance of the Metro Station. We felt safe walking through the streets of Madrid and the property surrounding. We just fell in love with this city.

The rooom is well equipped with dish washing stuff. Plenty of dishes for two and a dish washer as well as clothes washer. Perfect!

I would have given a 5, if the maintenance was kept up, the wall socket in the bedroom was coming off the wall, the iron had burnt and it was not possible to take showers at the same time as the hot water was not enough even though the apt had two showers.

We had a great stay at this apartment. Nuria and Saray were great hosts and were helpful throughout. The property is great with an upstairs bed and kitchen and sofa downstairs. It was great for our family of 4. The location is fantastic close to the metro and easy walking distance to many key and fun sights

MH Apartments are good for a budget, but left some to be desired. They allow late check-in, but the process is done on an extremely slow computer in the lobby, which declined my credit card 3 times. I had to call customer service, who told me the card must have a PIN. Why would I be expected to use a debit card all of a sudden when it was not used or mentioned during the booking process? Who uses a debit card to pay for a hotel? Completely nonsensical, they should pay for a system that works.

There was a fire alarm going throughout the entire building for nearly 2 hours. A deafening, high pitched sound. Guests had no idea what was going on & were not contacted. Upon calling customer service, was told “someone is coming to turn it off,” which did not happen for at least another hour.

It was late November with temperatures in the 30sF, yet the thermostat was locked onto the cool setting. We could not have heat the entire stay, it was frigid in the apartment the whole time. I had to keep the towel rack on to frequently warm my hands up.

As they are trying to teeter between short-term rental & hotel to reap the benefits of each, there is a front desk but never anyone at it to help. They do not provide housekeeping, yet they only supply 2 tiny trash bins in the kitchen, none in the bedrooms, & a small amount of towels & toilet paper. Also, the shower floods very easily, overflowing before it can drain.

Positives - it was clean, it had outdoor views and a small balcony.

terrible experience. I've submitted a claim for reimbursement. I was not able to stay in this property. the fire alarm went off for an extended period of time with no staff providing assistance, the check-in device was malfunctioning, the room look poorly cleaned and very different as it was shown online, extensive constructions was taking place across the street creating multiple inconveniences for access, noise, pollution. Extremely disappointed with this venue and its operators.

When we arrived, the check-in experience was very uncomfortable. The woman at the reception desk was in the middle of an argument with a co-worker and didn’t acknowledge us for at least a minute. No greeting, no “welcome,” just a blunt “name” and a request for passports. Not a great first impression.

The apartment looked nice at first glance, but the cleanliness issues quickly became obvious. There was visible mold all over the shower, and the washing machine—which was one of the main reasons we booked this place—had thick black mold inside. It was so bad you could wipe it with a tissue and it would come off black. We couldn’t use it at all.

As an apartment-style hotel, it came with cups, glasses, and basic kitchen items, but the glasses had clear mouth prints on them from previous guests. Nothing had been properly washed, which was just totally unacceptable.

Overall, the space felt dirty, which was really disappointing given the price. The layout, view, and surprisingly quiet atmosphere were the only positives. Unfortunately, based on the check-in experience and the level of cleanliness, we wouldn’t stay here again.

Everything about MH Apartments was spot on! The location is excellent for walking to all the great sites of Madrid plus it has a metro station very close for some places which may be too far to walk to. It’s very comfortable and modern with a great shower and comfy beds. It’s in between two markets so we picked up items for breakfast which was great on our budget. Kitchen is fully equipped including a washer and dishwasher. There is quite a bit of construction going on currently on the street where the building is located and I suspect that will be going on for a while. However, the location is quiet at night and the A/C works great so you’ll get a good night’s rest.

This place is a hit and miss at the same time. Location was central, right next door to two grocery stores. I got the studio and it was huge and clean and modern. Really appreciated the kitchenette, living area, washer, and bug bathroom. The female staff who did the check in and out was very nice and helpful and responsive. Thank you! The cons: the immediate area is doing major construction, so lots of noise and dust, the walkway was unsafe and inaccessible in certain areas (bad for wheeling luggage around). Right outside are homeless people who just hang around infront day and night , some were drunk and high and I felt uncomfortable walking past them when entering and exiting. I could not sleep bc the street was noisy well into the night and the construction early in the day. If you want a quiet night sleep without homeless people around, this is not the place.

Séjour à Madrid

Bel appartement, bien situé pour visiter la ville. Il y a des travaux présentement sur la rue, mais cela ne nous a pas déranger, c’est bien isolé et calme malgré cela. Les chambres sont confortables et c’est propre.

Seul commentaire à prendre en considération, c’est que les équipements de cuisine sont très limités. Nous étions 4 jours, il y avais seulement un sachet pour laver la vaisselle, pas d’essui tout à disposition, bref, rien n’est fourni (sel, poivre, huile etc…), juste quelques capsules de café et 4 sachets de sucre.

Sinon, nous avons bien apprécié notre séjour.

However, there was ongoing construction in the area, which made it difficult for taxis or Ubers to stop directly in front of the hotel. Amazing location… two supermarket (one of them open 24/7) next to the hotel. The receptionist service was amazing as well (from 8 am to 6 pm). U can book a taxi for 33 euros in advance to airpot and driver came right on time. The two bedroom apt very clean and modern decor and super spacious with balconies. Would book again if coming to Madrid!

Nice apartment in an interesting area of Madrid with lots of shopping and local dining options available. 2 supermarkets right below the building and metro steps away. Setup oñfor primary bedroom could be better as ensuite has no door for shower area which may be an issue for non-couples. Bathtub is also a bit slippery. All things considered, we were pretty pleased with the apartment.

We are family of four, we stayed in MH Apartments in central Madrid for 4 nights, and we could’t be happier with our stay. The apartment is huge and everything is walking distance. There’s construction right outside the apartment during our stay, it get’s a little loud during the day, but not a problem for us because most of the time we are out during the day. Check in is straight forward. I will recommend the place to our friends and family.

We had an excellent stay at MH Apartments in central Madrid . This is my second stay with them. The staff is very accommodating, easy check in and out. Its located in an area where you have bus transportation, car services, supermarkets, and local shopping and restaurants.

It is also at walking distance to Plaza Mayor, Sol and La Latina.

Can’t wait to visit again!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay at the center of Madrid. This property was very clean and staff was friendly and accommodating. We had all that we needed for a stay away from home. The apartment was near the Metro station, and we could also easily walk to many landmarks. Two supermarkets were near the property. Although the property is located on a busy street, our apartment was nicely isolated from outside noise. We are thankful that the staff allowed us to store our luggage for few hours after the checkout, and we were able to have lunch at a cafe prior to our departure from Madrid.

Our apartment was super spacious and comfortable. We loved our balcony views. It was unfortunate that there was construction in the plaza during our stay and we wished we would have known that prior to our stay. You cannot beat the area for the proximity to most areas we wanted to visit. We walked almost everywhere. The supermarkets on either side of us were very convenient. The only downside is that since it is so central in the city, it can be noisy even late at night (and early morning with the construction) but we are heavy sleepers so we did not mind it too much.

We encountered challenges in communicating with the property management. On the first day of our stay, we reported an issue with the water services, but it was not adequately addressed, and we did not receive any follow-up. Furthermore, I requested a taxi to the airport on our last day, but I never received confirmation or any communication, either by phone or email. While the location is good, the level of communication and service needs significant improvement.

Poor service. In person reception only available from 8-6p. So any after hour issues are painful.
Rented the 2br apartment. Our key cards were deactivated in one day: Can’t get into the building or your room. The bathroom door handle disengaged and wouldn’t open the door, effectively locking our daughter in the bathroom. The call to the emergency services from the lobby phone was met with: “there’s nothing I can do, force the door.”
The kitchen sink leaked. The bathroom sink was stopped up. The decorative bathroom molding was falling apart and there was not enough hot water for a family of four to shower.
On the bright side, the woman at the reception desk was terrific when present. The location is great for walkability. The apartment was spacious.

Nice place. Some things were missing in the kitchen sonó had to get a pan in the Store close to the venue but the rest was ok with superb cleanliness and safe place. There is a metro station just in front of the building.
