We stayed in the corner room on the second floor (Room 209). Love this corner room as it had two windows allowing us to see the hustle and bustle of our area.

Front desk was nice and spoke English well! A very special shout out to 'Ooh' the lady who serviced our room and half of our floor! We noticed how hard she works and was so polite checking in on us when she saw us passing by going out. My wife asked for new towels during our 3 day stay. Thank you, we appreciate the little details that 'Ooh' made that seperates MyStay from other budget friendly hotels.

We booked a twin deluxe room so we had more space which was much appreciated. Room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is across the road from the station. Exit 7 or 8. The breakfast was quite good. A couple of things I didn’t like but overall good. The area is perfect location to see everything.

Excellent place to stay in Yokohama. The hotel is situated right next to the JR line, and is walking distance to the Yokohama baseball stadium and the waterfront. Many restaurants and stores within walking distance of the hotel.

MyStay Kannai is the BestStay in Japan

From the time I arrived until the time I sadly departed the service, support and atmosphere at MyStay was fantastic.

From the front desk reception, the housekeeper staff, buffet breakfast every day was special.

Close to baseball, transportation, Dining, sightseeing, MyStay is convenient, pleasant and definitely a true value for any traveler

全体的に清潔感がありました。特にバスルームが綺麗で良かったです。
早めに着いて暑すぎてロビーで待たせてもらおうと思ってたら部屋の準備が出来ているからと早くチェックインさせて頂きました。ありがとうございました。
気になったのはエアコンの稼働音。本体が古いのか清掃が必要なのか分かりませんが音がうるさ過ぎました。
あと使い捨てスリッパがあればもっと良かったです。

1週間概ね快適に過ごしました。綺麗で音も気にならなかったです。以下は気になった点です。　

-バスマットのタオルとフェイスタオルが交換されなかったのかな？と思うことが一度ありました。
-エアコンの汚れが目に入りました。
-冷蔵庫を開けると水が溜まっていました。
-禁煙室でしたが、朝廊下、エレベーター周辺がタバコ臭いことがありました。(6階)

ランドリーは洗浄機能が付いていて洗剤も要らず、よかったです。100円玉しか使えないのが少し不便でした。両替機を置くか、キャッシュレスになっていると良かったです。

また利用させていただきます。

The saff was fantastic and very helpful, even though they were reluctant to speak English, they kindly used the translaor on their phone to communicate. The restaurant is small. If you want breakfast at the hotel, sign up for it when you book. We requested it when we arrived at the property and were told we were too late. Fantastic Tonkatsu restaurant is 2 blocks away.

I always choose Mystays Hotel when I go to Japan for business trips. I have stayed here many times. The location here is very convenient for my business trip, and the nearby transportation and restaurants meet my needs. The room is also very clean, and the reception staff has a good service attitude. I highly recommend it.

Ac wasn’t working and staff couldn’t even speak English to discuss about this. A lot of noise from neighbors and they would charge 1000 yen just for 30 minutes late of check out. Water is extremely weak. I feel that they’re doing everything they can to do cost savings. I would not recommend this property at all.

Beautiful stay! The rooms were fairly larger than other hotels we stayed at during our time in Japan. There is a small sitting area that is big enough to open your luggage all the way, and the desk provides extra seating!

Do keep in mind that the building has a collective cooling system, so there is no individual air conditioning per room. There was a mini AC unit in our space to use, but we still had to use our mini portable fans throughout the night to stay somewhat \"cool\" during the summer heat.

If warm air doesn't bother you, this was a perfect stay! It's about a 4-minute walk from the station, near an outdoor shopping district that has a couple thrifting places and good bites, close to convenience stores, and a station away from Yokohama Chinatown.

MyStays Kannai Day Team is Awesome

Day crew is absolutely amazing and professional, a English speaking team member is on board to assist.

Day team went above and beyond the call of duty.

Night shift, had very little comprehension of English and when spoken to in my basic Japanese skills, they were clueless to my needs.

Even my travel agency experienced language barriers with the night shift when attempting to address my day late arrival due to airline cancellations in order to keep reservations.

Great location to everything Yokohama


In house Italian restaurant rates a 3 on a scale of 10 for service. I was the only patron in the place, took 10 minutes to get a glass of water with a waitstaff of 3.
Food portions OK, but bread had to be requested and portion of the bread was incredibly thin and small. Pasta taste was quite bland for the tomato paste sauce.


Local convenience stores 7-11/Lawsons had better tasting foods.

Tge higher rating on my part is strictly because the day crew was second to none.

One of the best budget Japanese hotels we've stayed at so far. More spacious, better bathroom fixtures, very clean and looks new. Very near Kannai Station but not that many shops and restos that we prefer.

Room was filthy and smells like aging odor (pajamas as well).

Drain tub stopper has black mold and i had to use toothbrush to clean it before using tub. Headboard had dust on it so i wiped all the furniture with alcohol cleaner.

Location is awesome but I won’t use this hotel anymore.

Enjoyed the stay at Mystay. Staff very friendly, many of them spoke English that was very helpful. The hotel staff was clean, appropriate for stay. Close to the Yokohama blue line and JR Kannai station so very easy access. A lot of eateries around and central location for Yokohama. Great value hotel!

My Kannai home

In the past five years I've spent a lot of time in Yokohama and Hotel MyStays Kannai has been a second home. I've spent a total of months in the same room.

Location is fantastic, near Kannai and Bashamichi stations. Many great restaurants within walking distance.

Service is extremely good. I can speak basic Japanese and my wife is Japanese but they have a professional English speaking member as well.

Our queen bed was extremely spacious.

Room layout is good and I could do my WFH as \"work from hotel\" easily.

The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, Granduca, is extremely good. I wish I had tried it sooner but we've gone back several times for dinner.

The shower pressure is pretty good as is the bathroom generally.

Free to use onsite laundry facilities, as well as an ice machine, cups, and utensils available at no cost.

Refrigerator in the room is spacious and easily accessible.

Room has a basic safe that's roomy and easy to use.

WiFi in the room is pretty good but I always bring my own data service just in case for work.

Room climate control /AC is pretty good.

Room service is very good and easy to skip service on some days and instead just get new towels, trash pickup, etc.

Overall, my favorite hotel in the area for quality and cost.
