The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable.

They charged a lot of money(busy time of year). Basically just a lot of minor and sometimes bothersome issues.

So, I would book a room their again but for the same price, I would try an equivalent competitor first and see what they are like.

Breakfast is standard North American. Sort of like everything else, OK but nothing special.

The room was not clean at all. The bathroom floor was sticky and have hair, the carpet also was sticky, we found a condom paper and a nail file and the fridge didn’t work we wait 1h to have a another one. But the breakfast was good. And the staff was great and understandable.

The shower tiles were stained and the bathtub faucet pulled out of the wall when you tried to start the shower. The rest of the room was clean. The TV's are very small.

We stayed here while attending the Barrie Air Show and unfortunately this was one of the worst hotel experiences we've had.

The entire property is extremely worn out and in desperate need of renovations. The hallway carpet was so worn down it was exposing the subfloor in places.

The room itself was very small. Two people could barely stand beside each other in the narrow hallway area without getting in each other's way. It felt cramped and outdated.

Cleanliness was also an issue, as the room was not properly cleaned upon arrival.

The bedding was another disappointment. The pillows were completely worn out and offered virtually no support. My kids' pillows at home are more comfortable. Honestly, I would have been more comfortable sleeping on a sheet of plywood.

The TV signal cut in and out every few minutes, making it frustrating to watch anything at all.

The pool area was also disappointing. The pool itself was much smaller than expected, and there was a significant amount of water extending out into the hallway leading to the pool area. Surprisingly, there were no warning signs or visible attempts to address what was an obvious slipping hazard.

Overall, this hotel feels neglected, outdated, and far below what should be expected for the price being charged. We rarely leave negative reviews, but future guests deserve an honest picture of what they're paying for.

We will not be returning.

All of the staff I dealt with at the front desk, or passing by housekeepers in the hallway were very kind. I knew from other reviews that this property was a little run down. That didn’t bother me, and it was true. Paint was chipped in spots, the carpet was stained in spots. Not a big deal and for 600$ for 4 nights that part is all cool. My complaints..the room smelt of bleach so badly when we first got there, I appreciate it being clean but I could taste the bleach. Luckily having the window open all night helped air it out. After the first night I honestly thought about checking out and going somewhere else because the bed and pillows were SO uncomfortable. I didn’t see any other reviews about this. I’m young and couldn’t believe how much I was hurting the next day. It was nice to have an included breakfast but the eggs weren’t the best. Everything else was good. Would be nice to see bacon some days, as everyday there was breakfast sausage. The location of the hotel is awesome. Close to many restaurants and stores. Where my room was located I didn’t hear any traffic noise . Though the ac may have covered that up . This place definitely has its pros and cons . Good location and price, but uncomfortable beds and pillows.

Petit déjeuner juste parfait pour nous.

Staff were absolutely wonderful. Very polite and helpful throughout the say. Extra special shout out to the housekeepers on the 3rd floor!
Breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Room was clean, however, in much need of a renovation. That being said, bed was comfortable. Loved having a bunk bed so the kids each had their own bed. Carpets were definitely on the worn side, the \"fridge\" was little more than a cooler (though appreciated).
I would recommend this hotel for the excellent staff, breakfast, proximity to everything and budget friendliness.

Rooms were disgusting. There were waters stains in the roof. Furniture looked like it was picked up from a trash bin. Front lobby was disgusting and hotel looked like it was deserted. The breakfast was horrible and eggs uncooked. I have stayed here in the past and it was never this disgusting. I would take this hotel off your referral list. Management said they would switch me rooms but I was afraid of what I would have been moved too. Worst experience ever. Staff didn’t even acknowledge when people came in lobby.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was typical sausage eggs a few bread and cereal choices. Yogurt and juice. And waffle maker not a huge spread but for the price it’s perfect. The hotel gym is closed permanently and dryer was not working. The hotel is worn out and tired looking but it was ‘clean enough’ I wasn’t expecting much for the price. The bed was a little firm but fine. The bathroom was a little luster with caulking loose around the sink and rust in the bottom of tub but again this was all cosmetic “tired” stuff it was fine with me it fit our budget. I will say the location is perfect easy to walk to many restaurants and a grocery store. Also it was very quite when I was there no issues at night that’s a real plus. I didn’t use the pool so I can’t speak about that. The elevator is slow so I took the stairs most of the time because I was on the second floor. If I was in the area I would definitely stay again but just have your expectations straight when you stay here it’s a budget friendly and great location with nice staff.

The room was ok. Walls were gross tho, lots of residue splatter on them. We bought our own cleaner to ensure the jacuzzi tub was clean before we used it. The bathroom was ok. Shower didnt look the cleanest tho. Breakfast was ok. The make your own waffles station was fun. We found the eggs to be too runny tho. Staff didn't greet us, unless we needed help from the desk. The great thing was their location. There was everything closeby. Overall, it was an alright stay if you're looking for an affordable lower rate to pay and a warm spot to get some rest. I feel that we wouldn't stay there again tho.

The amount of fruity perfume air freshener when you walk in is as thick as a brick wall. Lots of putty along walls previously damaged but not yet finished. Bunk beds were very wobbly and well worn. Coffee maker and tea set out on the bathroom counter- yuck. Staff were great and helpful. It was a place to sleep but not the modern crisp clean quality I was hoping for.

Was okay, very dated rooms and furniture. Good location as we attended the colts hockey game. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance and down the road from the arena. Check put is 11am and they were vacumming outside our room at 915am which woke us up....werent happy about that...kinda inconsiderate of thrm tbh. Its no taj mahal if thats what youre looking for. But it was very affordable and suited its purpose.

I stayed here for 2 nights when my son had his hockey tournament in Alliston. Great location, close to all amenities. Staff was great, room was nice and clean. Even the jacuzzi tub was clean. Jets and stuff were cleaned properly cause I ran them first before entering the tub. I was
Impressed. Continental breakfast was good, just missed breakfast potatoes or hashbrowns.. other than that all and all… I would return!

My trip was cancelled due to a family emergency back in February. I informed the staff approximately 24 hours in advance in hopes of receiving some form of refund or accommodation. Unfortunately, they were not understanding of the situation and declined to offer any refund, which was disappointing given the circumstances. Stayed with our family of 5 in the suite with bunk beds and added a cot. Great service, spacious room, small but nice pool, fresh breakfast with good variety including sausages, eggs and waffles. Fantastic location with good food options. We ate mostly at the farm boy across the street. About 20 mins away from snow valley resort which is why we were in the area. Highly recommend super 8 ... great price to value, friendly staff.

Hard to find parking, stained carpet, black spots on shower tiles, shower ceiling drooping down. Felt the springs on mattress. Tv kept loosing connection from watching cbc. Front desk says that happens all the time give it 15mins. Never came back on. Sound proofing was horrible, heard the water pipes all night. Room 202
