The Snooty Fox is a lovely pub/hotel offering a cordial and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed an evening meal and a very nice breakfast. The staff are terrific and efficient. Our short stay was enjoyable and great value for money. We’ll go back anytime. Tetbury is delightful and walkable with many interesting individual shops.

On arriving we found our TV remote was missing. Our room apparently had just had a new TV. We had to ask 4 times over a 5 hour period before it was dealt with. The 2 nd time of asking was with the manger who said it would be dealt within a few minutes. The same manager overheard the 4th request and stated they were going as fast as they could, no apology. He had obviously forgotten the 2nd request several hours earlier. This is plain poor service combined with a poor management attitude has meant we would probably not use the hotel again.

We loved the central location of the hotel within Tetbury and were able to get to where we wanted to go by walking from the hotel. The hotel room was very small, but we managed admirably. My husband was unwell one day and the hotel staff were wonderful, bringing us lemon and honey tea and iced-water, which helped enormously. It would have been good though to have a vegetarian afternoon tea available without pre-booking. The cakes had gelatine in them (why?!), so we declined to order, as we didn't have the days available to wait before we left.

Dirty wardrobe cupboards and tatty room finish, with flakey paint and paint coming off painted tiles in the bathroom. But a very comfy bed. Excellent restaurant staff. Possibly the worst risotto we have ever tasted, so mushy it was like baby food.

Stayed for one night for a family party in Tetbury. The room was spacious with a day lounge area and stairs up to the bed. The bed was not very comfortable and the cold tap on the bathroom sink did not work at all. We had a shower over the bath but there were no grab handles installed. Being older my hubby had to call me to help him out after his shower and the bath was quite slippery. Seemingly you can ask for a rubber mat at reception, but at 7am not something I would want to do.

We booked two rooms and the equipment wasn't the same in each, our room had no overhead shower, there was a shower but it wasn't easy to use. the other room had an air-con unit, trouser press and a shower, so if these things matter to you check which room you have.

A fantastic, historic coaching in in the heart of Tetbury...now a wonderful hotel, restaurant and pub. Spacious, well appointed rooms; wonderful staff and management; tasty and varied restaurant menu; wonderful breakfast! History and antiques flood the immediate vicinity around the hotel. Safe Public Parking just behind hotel only £2 per 24 hours! A fantastic, romantic getaway!

The staff are amazing nothing was much trouble! However the rooms could do with a bit of TLC. The cold tap on the bath was so loose we thought it would fall off - made it very difficult to get the water temperature correct. Giving the windows and frames a good clean wouldn’t go a miss.

Nice hotel with beautiful features and atmosphere. Carpet in my bedroom was far far past its replacement date, bathroom was basic but clean, bed was just OK but well below the standard of a Premier Inn. At £140 incl a poor breakfast it was poor value for money

Lovely stay at this hotel. Staff very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Had a very good meal in the restaurant and breakfast also very good. The only complaint was the room we stayed in, was in need up an update. The wallpaper was peeling, the curtains and also the sofa need replacing. The carpet had quite a few stains. Everything else was perfect.

I like the Snooty Fox, it's central to Tetbury, easy to access, has a nice bar and restaurant. Food is average bar/pub like. Rooms are excellent and roomy but, those above the bar restaurant area suffer from noise from below and speakers blaring out music/radio. We had to ask for it to be turned off after 10:30pm! Apparently there are a couple of quiet rooms available. Ask when booking again we were advised!

This is a lovely old hotel with lots of character and is in an excellent position right in the centre of Tetbury. Spacious, comfortable room, beautiful bathroom, good restaurant. No carpark, so there was a bit of walking to the free carpark, but this did enable us to see one of the most beautiful bits of the town!

Plenty of seating in the restaurant - the bar gets busy as its so popular and welcoming.
