Absolutely beautiful home and farm land. Emailed us for our estimated time of arrival and met us for our late check in after travels. Drove us with to the local pub for dinner and introduced us to family and locals. The friendliest of cats greeted us as we came and left, and breakfast was above and beyond! If we get the opportunity to return to the UK, we'd go out of our way to stay in Manor Farm B&B Grittleton again!

It’s in a cute little town in a good central location for South western England. We used it for a 5 day home base to visit different locations near by. The Host, Kathryn is very nice and a great host. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Breakfast was taylored to what you wanted and very good. Highly recommend

Good Location for Grittleton House
Ideal stay when attending a function at Grittleton house as only a few mins walk. Room was clean however was very cold (we did stay in December).
Breakfast was good but no veggie option for my wife and I did not like the cats walking around the dining room and at times sat on my lap and walked across the table.

This was almost like a scary run down haunted property. No phone reception, absolutely ill maintained eirie place with broken fridges and stray cats at the front. Lot of history with the building. it is a working farm. While not modern rooms they retain the character of the building and have everything you need. Ensuites are modern and fully renovated. Bed extremely comfortable. Owner very friendly and helpful. Lovely little village with a lovely pub within walking distance that had great meals. The place really grows on you and you get some understanding of the history of the place. Highly recommend!

Family possestions. It was like sitting in a little museam all connected to her family which she said had lived at monor farm since 1930. A lovely feast for the eyes and the stomach. I've never been asked to remove my shoes on entering the property !
Not a problem you might say, but for anyone wearing footwear without socks, its quite a shock to be suddenly walking around and up and down from your room, in bare feet !
Lastly, we had the unfortunate experience of finding that the cups in our room appeared to smell of and been washed using the hand sanitiser from the bathroom. Consequently, what ever drink you try to make in your room tasted absolutely awful.

This lovely old farmhouse was filled with antiques in fine taste, the bed and bedding were the nicest I’ve had in any accommodation anywhere, the village was charming, the breakfast was scrumptious (homemade bread!) and the hostess went above and beyond in being friendly and helpful!

What a lovely, authentic experience. The breakfasts can't be beat. We took the most lovely walks around the town. Just be aware -- there's not a shop or restaurant in the town except for one very busy pub that was not able to accommodate us for dinner. We were without a car, so we need to take some expensive cabs to another nearby town for dinner. This has nothing to do with the Manor Farm, which is lovely, just be aware that it's best to visit Grittleton with a car! Enjoyed our stay -- one of the most comfortable beds ever....
