Had a lovely stay. The main property looks just like the online images and is really beautiful however, I’m assuming that most people stay in the building to the left which is less historic. Our check in was easy and even though we were brought to a room with just one bed, the staff rectified this pretty quickly and brought us to a room with two beds, which is what we had booked . Comfortable beds, quiet rooms. I would imagine it’s a little louder in the high season. We were a bit disappointed because The Cloisters restaurant was closed and this was one of the many reasons why we had booked because we were so delighted with how beautiful that restaurant looked. My guess is they do not open it in the winter as the hotel is not as busy. We had dinner in the other restaurant on our first evening there. This was our only negative experience during our stay honestly. The staff were very friendly however we were the only table in the restaurant at the time and our food took almost an hour to arrive, even though we had ordered a simple appetizer and salad. It seems strange to wait so long when the restaurant was clearly not busy at all. But aside from that we did really have a wonderful day and the grounds and property are really beautiful and every staff person we encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great! Very close to town and if you don’t have a car, there’s a bus stop right out front of the main driveway.

The room was incredibly clean, fresh milk and a bottle of water provided which was fantastic! The bed was sooo comfy, I had a decent hot shower and the rooms were on the large side which is nice. Room service was tasty and the main was just enough, I didn’t need a dessert. I was full. Service by the staff was brilliant. Full English breakfast was delicious and for once I stayed in a hotel where their machine latte was actually nice to drink. I’ll be staying again,

This was our second stay at Bailbrook; It’s a great location if you require parking and only a short taxi ride into the city. Our room wasn’t ready for the 3pm check-in time however we were sufficiently compensated with free drinks. The staff were generally pleasant but Daniel was an absolute credit to this hotel, he provided us with exemplary customer service to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Following this, I’m sure we will be returning.

The experience of this hotel was excellent. The staff were attentive, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was good, clean, and a good size. I would definitely look to stay here again should I visit Bath. Breakfast was busy, but well managed by the staff and you could ask for no more.

The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. Breakfast was delicious and made to order!! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. There is a large car park available for those driving at no additional charge! Great stay!!

The bathroom was on the small side, but perfectly fit for purpose with good pressure and temp balance in the shower. One of the comfiest hotel beds I've ever slept on! The food, both for evening meals and the buffet breakfast, are top notch, especially the breakfast with a very wide range to choose from, including a cooked-to-order menu. The \"gym\" is small and somewhat lacking. Lacks the thrills of some nearby hotels, but for the price it's absolutely perfect for a one-night business stay.

The room was spacious, well equipped and an extremely comfortable bed! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and my wife was grateful for the gift they left. This was our first time at Bailbrook and it did not disappointment the whole place was spotless and the staff were exceptionally helpful. The hotel is about a 30minute brisk walk to the north edge of Bath, near the Royal Crescent. Or, a short drive. But traffic in to Bath is busy on this road. Walk or take the bus.
