The room was clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly and attentive, always willing to help with anything needed. The bar had a great atmosphere, perfect for unwinding in the evening, and the breakfast offered a good variety of fresh options to start the day. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would definitely come back.

The property itself is beautiful, just it is no worthy enough for the price, check in was kind bumpy I wasn’t informed of the facilities of the place, my sheet was kind dirty when I get to my room there was a cockroach in the room, after 7:pm there is no one around the front desk than can help you, overall stay was okay because we loved the view and the pools are amazing.

The Tracadero property is a beautiful, lush, tropical oasis with infinity pools, gorgeous flowering bushes and majestic palms throughout. There's an excellent outdoor pizza place and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast and supper at the onsite restaurant. There is no beach but excellent snorkeling right off the rocky ledge and down a ladder. The people that work there are all very accommodating and we never had any issues in dealing with them. Our unit [#83 Marina] was large but sparse in that only 1 wine glass and 2 water glasses were to be found in the cupboards and NO microwave to be had. More were delivered but should have been available from the start since the unit can accommodate up to 4 people. Provided housekeeping items can be sparse but once you contact reception any needed items are delivered but maybe not post haste. All in all we loved our 4-night stay at Tracadero, both on site and walking around the Dominicus area either for supplies at the Mini Mart or enjoying delicious meals at an excellent choice of local restaurants.

Great place! Apartment for 5 people impecable. Great service and kindness from reception desk. Beautiful place to snorkel and dive due to rocky small cliffs. Not the place if you look more for sandy beaches. Stayed there with 3 kids and had a great time. Strongly recommended.

When I checked in, I noticed that there were no towels in the room. Two lamps in the bedroom were unplugged simply because the plugs were unsuitable for the outlets. The television did not work. I tried to arrange for a massage for the following day. No one would answer the spa phone. In fact, no one is around to help you after 7:00 pm. The food at the restaurant on the grounds was overpriced and underwhelming. Finally, the resort advertised transportation to the airport. I arranged a trip through the information desk. It was to be paid for by credit card. However, the driver apparently did not know and wanted $100 cash. Be aware that they add on 18% for the right to use a credit card.

The location and view was beautiful! The bartenders Ruben, and Harlem at the Esko Bar were great. The only disappointment was that the facilities are open to the public so you get a lot of kids and people that do not respect your space. I paid a lot of money and I thought I would have exclusive use of the facilities along with other paying guests. The second thing, I was patient and asked the front registration to please provide me with hot water. Finally after day 3 I got hot water. I travelled solo and this is not a place for solo travelers. Very few people speak English most are Italian or Spanish speaking.

Tracadero is amazing. The various pools, the staff service and the location are some of the things that make it a great vacation spot. The area is quiet and safe. The pool staff are excellent and the food was pretty tasty too, at a reasonable price.
Only suggestion: we arrived early, and while they allowed us to use the pool while our room was being cleaned, it was impossible to get towel ahead of our room being ready (beach towels are in the rooms). It’s hard to use the pool with no towel, so would recommend they change this practice. We also had no bath towels in the room. Despite this, we’ll definitely come back!

so so beautiful with amazing access to the ocean. just be careful when entering the ocean on the ladders!! many sea urchins there and our friend stepped on one and we had to go to the hospital, but luckily the hotel staff helped us with where to go and how.

This is a wonderful and affordable place to stay in Bayahibe. I thought the room was lovely and the people who worked there were courteous and helpful. EXCEPT: they do not have enough staff. So, there is a wait to check in and check out. And, the breakfast does not start until 8 am, which meant that both mornings I was there, the breakfast I paid for was not available because my scuba began in Bayahibe at 8 am.
Note that while the people working the front desk are very nice, the management did not refund me for my missed breakfasts!

Modern luxury walking distance from everything in Dominicus. They turned their pools into a beach...sand, salt water, rocks, and all. Infinity pools integrated beautifully into the native rugged rock. Access to beautiful blue Caribbean water right off the clifs. Super helpful reception staff. Solid air conditioning. Kitchen with sink, plates, cups, utencils, fridge, microwave, and stove to make coffee with stove espresso coffee pot, but no other pots (other than for cofee, cooking is not permitted). We stayed in unit Luxury #1 and it was excellent. It had a small private outdoor pool. The unit contained sheets (Expedia incorrectly states that there are no sheets) and everything else you need (towels, beach towels, ...). There is a small local market about 5 min walk away. This unit looks a lot better in person than the photos they have chosen to depict it online. The walk from the unit to the pools and clifs is about 2 min. Town of Dominicus was safe to walk day and night. We loved this place!

We stayed at Tracadero for 3 nights over New Years Eve. Our apartment was spacious and clean and I appreciated the extra amenities in the kitchen and there was a huge dressing area in the room for our suitcases.
The food at the restaurant is excellent! The cocktails are also amazing. We did feel like the service in the restaurant in the evenings was slow and it almost felt like they didn’t want to serve sometimes, or they were overwhelmed. This was the only damper on our experience.
The pools and views were amazing!
We stayed as a family with our 7 year old son. We will definitely come back and would love to bring our extended family here to enjoy the bigger apartments.

Nice hotel, but not worth the money

We had a family room with one bedroom and living room with sofa. There are no lifts, so you need to think if you have small kids and strollers. The reception is not working 24 hours and there is a backup that assists the guests, but he don’t speak English… so we communicated with him via google translate. He really tried to help and he was really nice, but when you pay a lot of money for this resort, you should expect for more. For 2 days, the house keeping lady did not bring enough towels and no paper toilet, so we need to ask the reception to bring it on the evening. Again, this is not the best service.
The restaurant in the hotel is ok, we ate just once and rest of the nights we ate outside.
In general, the hotel is nice, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel has a lot of public surfaces, which is good. The room we had was big enough for our luggage. There are no lifts, so if you have strollers, ask for 1st floor. The stuff is helpful, but not all of them speak English, which can be an issue if you are not speaking Spanish. The hotel restaurant has various food options to choose from, but it is expensive. The prices on the menu are excluding taxes , so pay attention. I would definitely comeback.

Property is beautiful at the resort office, restaurant and beach. The water is gorgeous but it's mostly saltwater pools. No direct access to the beach from the resort but still amazing views of the water. The restaurant food is pretty good just a little pricier than the other food options nearby. The villa was gorgeous inside and out. Gated and totally private. The lights in the backyard and pool weren't working - called the front office and someone came out to try to fix it but he couldn't so he said maintenance would come the next day but no one ever came by or called us about the issue...not a big deal but definitely a bummer. We were also told that our private pool and jacuzzi didn't have a heating element so that was a bummer as well. Overall staff were patient and kind. \"Room service\" came every day to clean the villa and leave bottled water. We weren't told there would be so much construction and renovation going on. Workers could be heard every morning in the back and front of the villa and the views around the property were rubble and construction. Still a great trip and awesome property. Can't beat the views!

I recently stayed at this resort and was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. Despite booking the penthouse, I encountered several unacceptable issues that made my stay far from enjoyable.

First and foremost, the service was poor. From check-in to check-out, the staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. Upon entering the penthouse, I discovered there was no soap provided, which is a basic necessity that should never be overlooked. Additionally, there was mold in the shower, which is both unsanitary and unpleasant.

The rooms had a musty odor that made it uncomfortable to stay in, and to make matters worse, there were dead roaches scattered all over the floor. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one that is supposed to offer a luxurious experience.

While the restaurant food was just okay, the wait time was ridiculous. It took over an hour for our meals to arrive, which is far too long, especially when the food is only mediocre at best.

Overall, I would not recommend this resort to anyone. The numerous issues I encountered during my stay indicate a severe lack of attention to detail and poor management. Save your money and find a better place to stay.

We arrived at 3:30 pm to check in and they told us our room was not ready. They did not explain anything about the hotel, restaurant hours. They did not gave us a tour or explanation of the facilities. They just asked for our IDs and for a 500 dollar deposit, gave us towels and told us to wait at the pool. At 8:00 pm they took us to a villa that was not ready. It was terrible since we made restaurant reservations for 9 pm. The hotel had a concert that night and we were told we had to purchase a table. So we had to pay for the concert. The menu was limited, the last plate arrived an hour and a half after the first one so out party did not eat at the same time. The waiters forgot about 3 plates. Service was not good. We asked for a cake to celebrate a birthday and they forgot about it. The water pressure at the villa was terrible. The staff at the reception did not helped us at all. It was until Elizabeth (manager) arrived that they took us to the villa that wasn’t even ready.

Complaints: There is no beach access from the property. Instead they have made a \"beach\" by putting sand in one of the infinity pools and on the surrounding terraces.
Also we had no hot water for most of our one-night stay. They fixed it just before we left, which we appreciated.
The area around the hotel suffers from the lack of beach access due to the giant resorts hogging the coast and walling it off behind an ugly 3 story facade . I guess a lot of Punta Cana may be like this, but it is very different from other areas we visited such as the north coast and Samana. Also, there is a lot of construction going on which makes it hard to find your way around.
Having said all that, the facilities were very nice and staff was helpful and courteous. We had a large apartment for a good price. If you just want to hang out at a really nice set of swimming pools, this could be a great spot.

Great location!

This is a great location and great property. We loved all the natural pools and quick access to the ocean. There are ladders that lead down to the ocean for swimming. The poolside service was great. Very friendly staff. The hotel rooms were very high-end. Large living space And good sized bedroom. Everything was high end.

From the moment we got there, there was no air conditioning at reception. We also spend the night with no air-conditioning. I am being woken up to construction at 6:30 in the morning just an awful experience the staff was amazing.
