The uniqueness of the hotel villas, and the lush, tropical, well maintained gardens definitely make this worthy of a stay here. Closeness to Angkor Wat and friendliness and competence of the hotel staff are also pluses to be considered. The city and its nightlife are just a Grab car away. Overall a great way to experience Siem Reap

This place truly is amazing!

The service was fabulous. The food, fantastic! We ate at the hotel for at least half of our meals over our four nights stay and still didn’t get a chance to try everything we had hoped to. The gardens and pool are exquisite. Everything is immaculate. Come for Angkor Wat and the surround sights but book a few extra days to enjoy the resort.

For transportation, we had these grabbing a cab from the airport to the hotel. The hotel helped us rent bikes, which we enjoyed taking to the temples the first day. The second two days our took took driver Naag, was awesome.

We enjoyed some Cambodian made shops and will certainly return to this lovely retreat.

Dislikes: lots of mosquitos by the pool, cockroaches found in bedroom, subpar cleaning (dental floss found by bed on day of check-in), broken hair dryers (3 out of 5 sent to our rooms were broken).

My stay at Templation was incredible! The facility was beautiful with nice amenities to enjoy during the hot Cambodian afternoons. The bunnies were such a fun addition. The common pool was amazing and the individual pools are a great way to relax with some privacy. The villas were so comfortable and a great way to recharge for sightseeing. The food at the property was very good too! The staff were one of the highlights of the experience. They all are so welcoming and kind, making you comfortable from the moment you arrive. People are friendly and invested in you having a pleasant stay. Tuk tuks are waiting outside to take you anywhere so distance from the city center is no issue. I'm planning on making a trip back just to explore more in the area and enjoy more of such an amazing experience that Templation is able to provide.

We just returned from a three night stay at Templation and had an incredible stay. The property is stunning and the pool is massive. Our two bedroom suite, with private pool, was a highlight, and so welcomed after long days touring Angkor Wat and Siem Reap. All the staff were warm and welcoming, and the hotel restaurant and bar were excellent.They have a great 2 for 1 happy hour each afternoon that we enjoyed at the pool. The hotel is out of town, which we liked, and is only a short tuk tuk ride into town. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful retreat while visiting Siem Reap, I would highly recommend staying at Templation. Thank you for such an incredible few days!

The staff were so helpful and friendly. The bed was the most comfortable I've had in Asia so far. I really liked the room and the private pool but I did have to remove a star for how noisy the area is. The rooms are essentially just a fancy tent and the hotels neighbours play music late into the night and then again starting around 5am which made it a bit difficult to sleep even with the provided ear buds. However, I had the pleasure of being in the tent during a rainy day and that sound was very soothing.

Absolutely loved our stay and Uy’s hospitality!

Had the absolute most amazing stay at temptation. All of the staff were incredibly kind and attentive, especially Uy. We can’t stop thinking about our trip and already trying to figure out when to go back. Food was delicious and cocktails were superb. Truly an incredible stay and would recommend staying at Templation in the one bedroom pool villa.

What an amazing hotel! I can’t say enough good things about it and felt a bit tearful to leave. Chic, relaxing, comfortable bed, great food beautifully presented, delightful staff and the quirky bonus of pet rabbits living freely in the grounds.
The hotel arranged for a traditional tuktuk to take us to the temples, which I would highly recommend. Our driver Mr Nang’s English was excellent and he made really helpful suggestions about temples and restaurants. Just magical!

We were delighted to stay at Temptation for our first visit to Cambodia. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The included, unlimited breakfast offered a good mix of local cuisine and western options. The large swimming pool is very nice. Quiet area, but close enough to town. One of our favorite hotels!

Templation is a wonderfully maintained boutique hotel very conveniently situated for visitors to Angkor Wat -- it is just 4 km (2.5 miles) from the main temple. We found the staff to be extremely hospitable, arranging tuk tuks and bicycle rentals rapidly and for reasonable rates. A bicycle ride to the temples of Angkor Wat and Bayon is very easy and highly recommended, as is Hotel Templation as well. It is a pricier option than many others in Siem Reap, but the convenience and comfort made it worth the splurge in my family's opinion.

Siem Real masterpiece..

What an incredible experience at templation hotel. Service was excellent, the grounds were beautiful - the room was extraordinary - the cutest rabbits and guinea pigs running around the grounds made for a sublime experience each morning and evening. The food was fantastic, and more so - everyone at the resort felt like family. The room itself was a dream.. I booked two single room villas with private pools only to find out each single room villas each had a seperate living room building … we barely used the living room building as our bedroom unit was more than enough and had an outdoor shower and tub… what a fantastic experience showering with nature and hearing all the animal sounds… conveniently located 10 minute drive from Angkor wat, there is nothing I would suggest to improve at this resort. Truly a beautiful experience. Thank you!

I was a bit skeptical about the glamping facilities, but loved it once there! I loved the refreshing, private pool (wish there was a lounge chair, however). The room wa perfect and enjoyed the little things, like the bowl of fruit, cookies at night, robe, slippers, even ear plugs!! There restaurant was great and we enjoyed the 3 for 1 happy hour! Breakfast was perfect for us. Transportation to and from the airport was so convenient as well as the easy to get tuc-tuc service to Angkor Wat waiting on the property. Overall a wonderful experience. I wish I had scheduled another day to partake in the spa services there!

A lovely retreat.

A very modern set of buildings in a woodland setting. A vast pool and the more expensive rooms have their own pools. We had this on our last evening but we were quite happy with using the large pool. Lovely staff. Excellent breakfasts. Work does need doing to the rooms with some updating. The tiles round the edge of the big pool need changing. But none of this took away from the charm of the place. We loved it. The bathrooms are half open to the sky. We would certainly go back.

this is one of the best places I've stayed, period. The public areas, the pool, the restaurant, the service, the attention, all was 5 star. The room, if you like more of an adventure type, was fantastic ... but there are other room types if you like more of a traditional type of accommodations. The location is a bit weird but there is no problems because it is well served by taxis and tuk-tuks ... in this regard, you can get great tuk-tuk people for very reasonable price to take you wherever you want to go.

we loved the outstanding breakfast and food served ... and, again, the pool, spa, and the people that served us. We highly recommend this place.

The Templation is, undoubtedly, one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment of arrival to the moment of departure, the staff paid attention to every detail that made our stay absolute perfection. Outstanding atmosphere. Outstanding staff. Luxurious surroundings. Excellent spa treatment. Comfortable beds. Fantastic poolside restaurant and bar! Adorable rabbits roaming the expertly maintained and manicured property. We could not have expected a better week at Templation. (It was truly hard to leave.) Absolutely LOVE this place and look forward to our next visit. 10/10!

Templation was always clean and meals by the big pool were fantastic.our room also had a private pool, but we prefered the lager one as it was warmer. I would definitely recomend this location. Rent a tuktuk to get around siem reap.

We were taken back by the beautiful architecture and amazing service.
It is close to Angkor Watt, the amenities are amazing, the resort is beautiful. We stayed in the two bedroom villa.
The food was incredible.
Our experience from check in to checkout was great.
The staff from the front desk, housekeeping, to restaurant were very friendly and helpful.
Special note for Uy, he provided the best service.

Highly recommend this hotel.

Templation is a wonderful hotel if you want a bit of peace and quiet outside of the bustling downtown Siem reap. It's a short tuktuk ride into downtown and close to the Angkor Wat temple complex. Breakfast was also delicious. The pools are unheated but pleasant.

- right next to a school or temple that sometimes is quite noisy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in a Jungloo.
Very interesting glaming tent room, very well designed. So comfortable with its own private pool. We went skinny dipping!
Such a nice place.
It was my birthday and the staff noticed from my passport and surprised me with a birthday cake and song.
I really had a happy birthday. But even if it's not your birthday this place is an excellent place to stay in Siem Reap.

Delightful boutique hotel in quiet location. Separate building for each room in a lushes garden style, very modern setting. Best swimming pool we had seen in any hotel - large, clean and luxurious. Very nice property outside of town and closer to the temple zone. We liked this for the tranquility, and it cut 10 minutes off the trip to the temples, but it’s a tuk-tuk ride to any restaurants. We ate lunch twice in the property, both times were excellent. The management was super helpful, although the regular staff seemed to have some difficulty resolving our issues, which was with inconsistent hot water and non-functioning air conditioning, both of which should not be an issue in this class a hotel, and therefore our slight downgrade in the review.

Stunning hotel and grounds, fully lived up to the website. Luxury service all round including packed breakfast for the sunrise Angkor Wat visits. Pool area is amazing plenty of room for lap swimming and lounging. Only negatives would be 10pm close for restaurant/bar which might be an issue for some and a funky smell in the spa room during massage.

I wouldn’t call it a 5 star resort, the design is nice and looks neat from the outside. The staff are arrogant and unfriendly a bit disorganized and messy. I went back to stay at the moon boutique hotel, which is not a 5 star but excellent customer service and helpful staff. The food was better at the moon residence, attentive and smiley staff.

One of My Favorite Hotels Ever

This is the second time I have stayed at Templation, and I love it. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is outstanding and the atmosphere is relaxing and stylish. If you are up for the splurge, the pool suites with your own pool are fantastic. Also, the Bodia spa is the BEST spa I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few!

Best massage I've ever had in there spa.. the 4 hands for 90 minutes. The staff was amazingly nice and accommodating .. although they only recommended top end activities, and didn't seem to know any best kept secrets, I would have liked It if they had.. the restaurant at the hotel was excellent, and that was the best kept secret. If you don't stay here, definitely come to the restaurant and don't be fooled because it's empty. And although the main pool was amazing, getting a room with private pool is fantastic.. and with two couples the 2 BR 2 bath with plunge pool is great value

We booked the private pool room for the higher price hoping to relax; however, beware of loud music at night and sounds from the side street. During the day we heard voices of school singing and trying english. We were disappointed that the most expensive rooms had so much noise. I guess its a bad sign when your hotel has 10 foot plus walls up. Don't book the private pool rooms since the al back that side street. They also nickel and dime you for renting a bike, pickup from airport and local transport. I would look at other hotels before you book the Templation. You can find much better for the prices. Would not recommend this hotel because of noise during the day and night.
