Great stay at Sofitel for family of three.

Staff were fantastic everywhere we went in the hotel. Concierge was great help in organizing tours of Ang Kor Wat etc. and shorter local trips that we went ourselves. Swimming pool was large and never crowded. Front desk always friendly. Great internet. Short distances to 7-11 and to markets.

We are 150 km from the Thai border war and never felt unsafe. It did affect the number of tourists so everywhere is not crowded even in December (peak season).

Paid for Club access and had free breakfast, drinks and evening meal (at Club Millesime) - good value for money. Breakfast buffet had so much choices and never had to wait long for tables. Staff so efficient and always friendly.

Special thanks to the staff at Club Millesime - always wonderful every evening.

Had a wonderful stay. Really enjoyed the dining, pool and accommodations. It really is a beautiful oasis and the service was top-notch. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We also utilized their service for transportation as well as arranging for a guide. If I ever come back, I will definitely be here again. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left it was perfect. I wish I had all the names of the staff that were so incredible. The concierge was very nice and arranging things too. Wonderful.

Incredible wonderful base of stay to visit Angkor wat and Siem reap. This is an oasis of five star service. But it is not walkable or close to downtown hot spots like pub street and the area outside the compound is a commercial road. The hotel compound itself is a wonderful place to stay with incredible restaurants and service inside. The rooms are airy filled with light and overlook a beautiful central pond with lotuses. The staff is amazing and the entire ambiance is delightful. It’s perfect for a family vacation.

A Lovely Place

Wonderful! The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food available was a mixture of local and international. We ate local whenever possible as it was very good. Only downside some of the fixtures around the amazing pool area are in need of refurbishment but that would not stop anyone having a wonderful time here.

Overall wxcellent but tgereonlh let down by no policy at the swimming pool when controlling children behaviours. Out of an 8 nigh stay we had kids very noisy screaming on pool area for 4 straight days. Mentioned it to management but no impact. They should confine children to a dedicated section of the pools allowing adults have some quiet and a peaceful poolside experience.

Upon arrival we were met with beautiful Cambodian singing and dancing, sweet tea, and incredible kind and helpful staff.
The property is truly beautiful. The swim up bar at the pool is fantastic. I could stay all night long at the bar looking out at the lamps hanging from the trees and the colorful lumination of all the raised walkways. Anotger bonus is the hotel is close to the Angkor Wat and the other Temples.

The downside is the rooms are dated. We didn’t have electrical plugs to charge our phones by our beds. The bathroom needed to be updated and worse of all the bed was hard as a rock. Otherwise the hotel was wonderful.

The management, lead by Pascal and his team were brilliant. Every member of the staff and management were attentive and made sure we had an enjoyable comfortable stay.

We stayed in the hotel for two weeks and everything was perfect.

The hotel has an amazing relaxing ambience, all of the staff were friendly, without exception; gardeners, housekeeping, front of house, food and beverage, spa, bell team, chauffeurs, chefs and all the staff we met. Nothing was too much trouble.

Our room was spacious, super clean, had everything we needed including great views of the splendid gardens, which were immaculate and had lots of birds and butterflies.

The selection of food on the menus catered for everyone. The array of food offered for breakfast was fantastic, the lunch and dinner menus were great. The quality of food was superb.

We would certainly recommend this hotel. Conveniently located to visit the famous temples and city centre. There was nothing to fault. We will be going back.

This was my first family trip after a 2 year hiatus due to Covid. A fantastic and most memorable trip. I really enjoyed Siem Reap. After a long day of hiking under the burning sun, it felt wonderful to be back in the comforts of Sofitel hotel. A very attractive hotel, the grounds are amazing and beautifully kept. Very quiet and peaceful.

Everything as it should be for a 4.5 star hotel except:
1. Slippers in hotel room are being re-cycled. Not too nice as far as sanitation is concerned.
2. The complementary bananas, which we did not consume in our four night stay, should be changed daily.

Everything about the hotel was great except after we have checked out, we went to the coffee shop around 6:00 am to have a coffee before our airport transportation arrive at 7 am. The coffee did not arrive until 20 minutes later and we asked for the bill immediately and the bill took another 20 minutes and we paid in cash immediately and the waiter could not give us back any change until he can locate the hotel manager. We almost missed our transfer. If you are in a hurry, do NOT stay at any Sofitel. These type service was common and happened to us in New York, Paris, Hoviminh City and now in Siem Reap again.

The hotel is lovely, service was great, staff very helpful. The pool was a great place to relax, loved the swim-up bar. The hotel feels a world apart but is a short walk to the great National Museum and a Tuk-tuk ride to the temples or downtown. The food was very good in all the restaurants we tried.

The friendly, well-trained staff make this a wonderful vacation destination. By the second day, the staff were greeting us by name and were familiar with our dining preferences. On one occasion we had to make a change in our reservations. Management was able to accommodate our new arrangements and from my point of view effortlessly. The food choices -- both American and Asian -- were wide and excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Angkor Wat.

The hotel offers, by far, the most superb, professional, yet friendly, experience. Everyone from concierge, to the staff in the restaurant, to the pool-bar staff are extraordinarily friendly and professional. After 6 nights we truly were reluctant to leave. Hotel is also very well located to travel out to the temples or into town. We have stayed at many Accor properties, but this one is far superior to any of the other offerings. We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel and it was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend the ground floor room that has a nice patio and access to the pool area. The staff were really friendly through the entire trip and were always very helpful.

I particularly loved the massage huts by the pool! Don't think I've ever had so many massages in 1 holiday. There's just something so calming about the sound of nature coupled with soothing music while getting a massage.

Location wise, it is great and is a few minutes drive to pub street. Very close to angkor wat as well.
All in all, an amazing time.

Fine for once, but not staying there again.

Hotel was physically fine, but the service (front desk, breakfast hostess) were not acceptable at all. Front desk extremely slow, to the point of ridiculousness, and breakfast hostess sported a brusque, bad attitude; didn't seat us when requested (despite being free),and when someone else took pity on us and seated us, had the audacity to move our belongings to another table just to show her pique that she hadn't been the one to seat us (saw her tearing a new one to the nice server that had seated us). Concierge, on the other hand, was excellent, but not enough to make us want to stay there again. Also felt a bit ripped off by the prices for a car day hire, and they don't (refused?) to look into making car hire arrangements not provided by their hotel. Btw, their spa is amazing--low frills, but the actual massages are heaven.

World travellers and happy to say that this was one of the best trips we've ever taken - partially because of the accommodations. The hotel is in great condition and offers pretty much everything one may need including a generous selection for foods, facilities as well as entertainment.
The staff is friendly and very helpful, just like most locals.

Lovely hotel, great staff, food not so great!

Sofitel Angkor Wat Phokeethra is a lovely property, well maintained and equipped. We loved walking around their beautifully landscaped grounds and kids will love the pool, adults will love the pool bar! Rooms were comfortable and staff very warm & friendly. The only downer was the food - it leaves a lot to be desired - bland, few choices and not too much for the kids either. The food was definitely not at par for a beautiful 5 star hotel in a country that boasts wonderful cuisine.
