It looks elegant from the outside and the front desk people are friendly and engaging. It was generally quiet throughout the building despite a conference going on there at the time. There are two restaurants which are subpar. The main restaurant was only open during noon hours and up through 2:30. I walked in there during these times and was never served so I left. The food is mediocre at best and the breakfast was terrible and largely inedible. There are also limited choices nearby. I won't be back.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Regency Angkor. The customer service was excellent and we were fortunate to check-in early after our long haul flight. We were provided a cold towel and bottle of water from our Airport Pickup driver which was a very nice touch. The staff took initiative to explain to us the location of the hotel and offer tips on where to visit during our stay. The room/pool/spa were also in a great condition. The buffet breakfast had a great range of choices. We recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.

We could see rubbish in garbage bags piles up on the other side of a wall near the pool when you look out from the smelly hall way window. Twice the waiters brought us the wrong cocktails which always tasted like margaritas because they had poor english. The breakfast catered well for all the noisey Chinese guests with most selections for them. We were never offered bacon for breakfast but got by. We tried to organise a free hotel pick up from the airport as advertised on the day we were to arrive but couldn't get through to the phone. We contacted expedia who didn't organise this/get through either. We got a free transfer from hotel to airport but only because we asked. The hotel staff could have emailed us via expedia to offer us a transfer before the stay, that would have given us a good first impression. The pool was nice. The water fountain in the front was only on one morning during our stay and looked great during that brief time it was on.

My stay at the Recency Angkor was AMAZING. The staff was super friendly, I got a room upgrade without even having to say anything as they didn't have the room I originally booked. The breakfast was fantastic. My friends got married here and the hotel put on an absolutely beautiful ceremony and reception! If I get the chance to come back I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel and service

We stayed for a week as we visited Siem Reap to see Angkor Wat and the other surrounding temples. All of the hotel staff were incredibly helpful, courteous, and friendly. Our next door neighbors were a little loud on the first night of our stay and the hotel front desk clerk was very understanding and helpful in moving us to a different room for the rest of our stay. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and the rooms are very comfortable. The concierges were always willing to assist us with transportation and restaurant reservations when we went out. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Siem Reap.

The hotel was great, location wise a little away from main town center. Sengy, who met us when we arrived, greeted us with politeness and gave a warm welcome. He was very knowledgeable and guided us well towards various activities. He even got us a guide to the Angkor Wat temples in spite of the busy tourist season.

Good hotel but in needs for renovation

A slight disappointment during our trip through Vietnam and Cambodia. the Regency Angkor Hotel had lots of potential but is, unfortunately, showing its age. The decoration is what it is, taste is subjective but I would say it is dated compare to nowadays standards. Condition of the room is the same, definitely very clean and we had no problem sleeping there, but walls showed some damages, paint chipped, bathroom seals are old. Then the swimming pool was just decent. Long chairs were dirty and old again, jacuzzis were not working and the water inside looked dirty (as if it has been there for too long). We did not mind so much as we only used this hotel to sleep at night and were out most of the time, also the price was reasonable compare to others. Our room also happened to be on the ground floor, just facing the bar. It had been a little bit noisy because of that. Breakfasts had also been a disappointing experience, the room is huge but the number of people was overwhelming. Automatically, there was not enough tables for everyone, people started to get aggressive and waiters were overwhelmed.

A great place to relax

We had a lovely time staying at this hotel during the holiday season (Christmas). They decorated the entire hotel and drew crowds (and the media) for their elaborate display. All the employees were gracious and respectful. We received our room relatively quickly and were delighted to find a room that was very clean and very comfortable. It's a two to three dollar tuktuk ride to Pub Street, depending on the time of day (and willingness to negotiate). Sleeping peacefully is very important to me - and this place delivers!

The pool is very well maintained, but jacuzzi (?) adjoining the pool had many dead insects inside...so no one used it.

Some other ways they can improve: I tried to arrange for an airport shuttle pick-up, but no one answered my online inquiry. There is an airport taxi service that is inexpensive. However, the hotel transport van did drop us off at the airport. Also, the bath tub has no curtain, which meant that one of the tiles along the tub had sunken in. I think the breakfast buffet could improve on offerings, but the noodle soup station is fantastic! The restaurant is just 3/5.

We stayed 4 nights. Booking package included airport pickup but nobody came. They agreed to drop off to airport instead. Air con was not working but quickly fixed. Due to low season restaurant was quiet and slow services. However once we complainted they improved immediately. We enjoyed time in Siem Reap.

The hotel and staff were hard to fault. I stayed for three nights, breakfasts were good, Had dinner a couple of times, food was excellent.
Facilities are good, but not a great deal to do around about hotel. A tuktuk into town was only two dollars. I would certainly recommend it.

Hotel is amazing. Pool is great. Location is a bit far from the center but you can take tuk tuk for $2 each way. Nothing really is in walking distance to the hotel.
Airport pick up was perfect once i managed to book it!
They offer one way free airport pick up, but its really difficult to find an email address to contact them once u book your hotel. They really should give you instructions to this once you book.
Airport drop off is $12 or you can take tuk tuk for $6. I had a morning flight and toom tuk tuk it was great and not too hot at all.

I have no complaints about this hotel. The staff was great, the facilities were nice, my room was clean, and the breakfast was delicious! I was a lone traveler and the smallest room they had seriously can fit a family of 6. It was sooo big! I enjoyed my stay here, it was very easy to get to the Pub Street and also on the way to Angkor Wat. Great place to get picked up from to do your tours. I was so pleased with this hotel and the price I paid for. I will stay here again and definitely recommend this place to a lone traveler or a family =)

Hotel is such a great value for what you get. The room is very spacious, A/C works splendidly, bed and bedding are super comfy, bathroom offers both shower and tub, balcony is a nice perk. Pool was nice but I didn't get a chance to use it, the locker room is large and nice to be able to use if you've already checked out and came back from Angkor Wat. Lots of tour groups come through so it does get a bit loud and crowded in the common areas. Complimentary buffet breakfast was wonderful. The paid lunch in the dining area had terrible service but the food was good, but you can get it cheaper if you head to Pub Street. Tuk tuk drivers are waiting out in front so that's super convenient. Hotel is located closer to Angkor Wat than Pub street.

Outstanding nice staff and perfect service from the beginning with a refreshing towel and some water at my free airport pick up. The hotel is really new and the staff cares a lot about all your needs. The pool bar and the breakfast are nice and even a late check out was perfectly arranged. It's just a bit far from city center, but even closer to the temples and the hotel offers Tuk Tuks standby 24/7. So we fully enjoyed our stay and Eden extended one more night. Thanks again for a nice time.

It would be impossible to get more bang for your buck!

Absolute luxury at this property with extremely courteous and helpful staff. The infinity pool with swim up bar is amazing, free breakfast plentiful (Western, Khmer and Vietnamese food available). A quick snack of chicken satay at Earl's cafe was delicious and CHEAP (less than $4 USD), the room was so big I heard an echo (with balcony if you want to brave the heat) and the hotel is centrally located between the temples and down town, with reliable and courteous tuk-tuk drivers available around the clock.

Amazing hotel! Amazing staff! exceeds expectations

Wonderful hotel and staff. Our two girls, ages 6 & 8 loved the hotel, the pool, and especially the Tuk Tuk rides from the hotel. We used Mr. Seirey, #30 & he was great with our girls. They really took a liking to him. Food in the hotel was excellent. Breakfast buffet was great, lots of variety. Hotel rooms are high tech with CCTV camera doorbells. Cleanest hotel I have ever seen. Hotel concierge was always very helpful to guide you in scheduling your day of touring temples or any other activities. My kids actually cried when we had to leave...they loved it there so much. Hotel managers in the Philippines could take a lesson from this hotel. They were even very patient with bus loads of loud, obnoxious Chinese tourists yelling their conversations to each other late at night and early in the morning. The quality of service is on a much higher level at Regency Angkor then at any hotel in the Philippines.

A wonderful hotel, a notch above its actual rating

I could only express compliments on this hotel...superb free breakfast (buffet), dedicated/committed staff (all of them), fairly ideal location (within economic distance from major attractions), new facilities, 24 hours room service, not that fast but very usable wi-fi connections, free airport transfers, sauna and spa services, etc. The hotel has an advertised 4 star rating but I almost felt I was in a 5 star environment.

Cheap Chinese fittings

This is a typical Chinese constructed hotel where the entrance & facade look grand but the rooms, although spacious are fitted with cheap materials. Everything is imported from China, even the tv remote control is in Chinese. We booked a double room but was given a twin room upon check in. This was rectified on the following nights. We were given the option on ground floor on the first night with a king bed after our complaint but it was noisy, so, we opted for the first choice of twin room on the 2nd floor. The following nights, we were given a room on the first floor which was also quite noisy in the evening.

An incredible Stay

I stayed two nights at the Regency. The rooms were very clean. The staff bent over backwards to be of service. It was only $2.00 by TuTuk to the night market. It was close to the Angkor Wat Ruins. I hope to go back to Siem Reap with my friends and family and I plan and staying here again. The breakfast buffet had everything and more than you could want.
It was incredibly cheap for what you got.

The hotel was a short tut-tut ride to Angkor Wat. We had 4 rooms and asked for extended check-out as we had a flight to Phnom Penh at 9.10pm. The hotel graciously let us have 1 room until 6pm and looked after our luggage while we had dinner. The only problem we had with the hotel was that there were mosquitoes in the rooms. My advice to travellers to Angkor Wat - bring mosquito patches and lemon-grass essential oil for protection.

New hotel - very nice for the price paid. The pool was a little green. Breakfast was great - my kids loved the omelets that were cooked to order and they also had some western options (pancakes, waffles, French toast) that made them very happy! All of the people we encountered were very helpful and very friendly. My husband and I were traveling with our 4 children, so we had 2 rooms. The beds were a little hard - we also had a few visitors (gecko lizards) that came in from outside. (The patio doors had a spot that allowed them easy access)

I was fortunate to find this hotel on sale during my visit. I booked a king bed which had an extra twin. The hotel is stunning and service is beyond excellent. It was very clean, spacious, and luxurious with a shower, bathtub, toilet, and European style bidet. The room was also large with a great view of the street. The hotel is in a good location and not too far driving distance from major attractions. The free breakfast buffet is sure to bring a smile to your face. This was by far, the best hotel I stayed at in Cambodia. Don't forget to bring your bathing suit if you plan to swim!

When we arrived, the chauffer from the hotel was already waiting for us from the airport. The transport car is nice, and he would tell stories about the places we pass by. Overall the staffs were very nice and accommodating. The hotel is very grand. The price is very reasonable even if the place looks very expensive. Free breakfast buffet is excellent. Though, facility is not that good. Our shower room panel almost fell on me so I had to call staff to fix it. Nevertheless, they had been very fast on acting on it. Also I have a hard time requesting for things since not most of them are very knowledgeable in English. But overall, I'd say, my stay there was very pleasant and I hope to be back there again.

I only have great things to say about this hotel. It was like being royal staying there. Lovely breakfast buffet, cheap prises at the bar and their own restaurant, lovely room with a balcony and the pool was awsome. The only negative thing to say is the WIFI connection. Wa had to stay at the pool or lobby to be online. It didnt work very well in the room.

And yet there was a drop of bitterness! The majority of chinese tourists didn't seem to be in the least civilized. Noisy, impolite, without regards for the non chinese guests. Very rude staff and over charged us!!!

We paid for 4 adults (extra set amount for each adult) and when we got there they only provided us with 1 queen bed and a single bed and advised us that usually 4 adults sleep in this bedding arrangement. We thought this was absolutely ridiculous due to the fact that we paid extra per adult and expected them to accommodate us appropriately. We ended up having to pay an extra fee each night for an additional bed. The staff were not helpful at all when being approached and didn't seem to know much about the tours. Overall not a good experience.

Luxury in Siem Reap

This hotel is more beautiful than it looks on picture. Situated in-between central Siem Reap and the Angkhor temples, with only a few minutes ride by taxi or tuk tuk to the party scene in central Siem Reap. We were greeted with welcoming faces and cool drinks on our arrival. Our room was very large and airy, opening to a balcony view of hotel's charming front entrance. The bed felt smooth and perfectly soft. Magnificent pool area, with poolside bar though it was practically empty while we were there. Breakfast had the widest range selection imaginable for SE Asia, from native Khmer to Western, and lasted long enough for the late sleepers. Staff was extremely friendly and nice. We really felt pampered here and will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Siem Reap.

Majestic hotel near to Angkor Wat and Pub street.

majestic hotel with a grand staircase and large lobby. Near to Angkor Wat and pub street.Tuk Tuk cost only 2 US dollars to Pub Street.. Angkor Wat is a mysterious and fantastic place to visit. Ta-Prohm is incredible with all those ancient weird trees. Mr. Kim -duty manager of Regency Angkor was friendly and helpful,he booked for us a private trip to Angkor Wat with a chauffeur and limounsine and a private tour guide at reasonable price.Trip to Tonle Sap lake was great and also booked via Mr Kim. Pub street was lively full of good restaurants and must visit
Temple Balcony-best apsara show and it was free,only paid for food.
Hotel stay was comfortable,but air conditioning can be a bit colder as we are from uk.Staff was friendly and helpful..Breakfast was varied and good and our stay was inclusive of breakfast . Book a room inclusive of breakfast,you cannot go wrong.We felt safe in Seam Reap and did not get \"jelly Belly\".

Though we checked-in very late, they were able to attend to us immediately... They were very warm, accommodating and they took care of us even if we stay for only few hours (late check-in early check-out). They were also able to arrange our Angkor Wat half-day trip immediately.

We got a family room, its nice and spacious. Service was good. The only thing I noticed the sheets were smelly. After complaining they came and change the sheets.

Hotel staff very helpful and polite, close to Angkor Wat so handy location for tourists. Room clean and hotel well presented. The wifi is the only disappointment as it is weak and slow...need to log in every time reconnecting as well

Amazing hotel, excellent staff, and great price! The free breakfast buffet has many great options, and the restaurant is also very good while being reasonably priced. Only complaint is the wifi connection was spotty.

The stay was good. the room had a Jacuzzi tub and Sauna cubicle in the bath room. I was really thrilled. but unfortunately both were not working. the house keeping personnel could not fix it

Best accommodation in Siem Reap

Had a wonderful 4 night stay. The hotel employees are wonderful, helpful, smiling and love practicing their English.
Location is not walking distance to old market area (could be but way too hot), however only a cheap $2 ride in tuk tuk.
Perfect location to Angkor for sunrise!- we went twice, so amazing!

Very new. Very quiet.

The rooms are excellent for comfort, albeit the design of the hotel is from another era. However... It's a fantastic place for the price and the staff, service, breakfast, pool is great. It was just totally empty when I was there.

Wonderful long weekend

New and up market hotel. Had the Honeymoon Suite which was heavily reduced for the 3 nights so was super value. Lovely ultra helpful staff, whose English was impressive on the whole .Breakfast buffet was good but the evening restaurant was very quiet on the first night so we ate out after that. The pool was great, large and very attractive with an in pool bar and handy little cafe inside that served gorgeous sorbets and espressos (demi tasse) to our elbow. I could recommend it highly.

Fantastic New Hotel in Siem Reap

We stayed here for 8 nights. We originally booked for 5, but extended. It was during Chinese New Year, so we had to change rooms, but both rooms were great. Very friendly and professional staff. Excellent buffet breakfast included.

Hotel excellent. Il est situé entre le centre ville de Siem Reap et l'entrée des temples d'Angkor. Quelques restaurants locaux non loin de la.
Situation ideal pour visiter Siem Reap et les temples donc.

Le petit dejeuner buffet est tres varié et d'excellente qualité. Service haut de gamme pour cet hotel qui propose beaucoup de services (Transfert aeroport, spa, bar piscine, etc...)

Pour finir le personnel est tres gentil et accueillant .

Mycket nöjd!

Mycket trevlig personal! Vi blev uppgraderade och fick sviten. Vår lille son fyllde ett år under vistelsen och vi bad om en bananpannkakstårta levererat till rummet kl. 6 på morgonen. De hade skrivit hela hans namn och datum på tårta med grattis text och så fick vi födelsedagsljus på den. De har vart toppen mot oss. Rekommenderas varmt. Tyvärr tyckte vi inte att restaurangen hade speciellt god mat men de är bara att ta en tuk tuk för 2 dollar till nattmarknaden på fem minuter, där finns de gott om utbud.
