Advertised as a four-star hotel, this place is clearly not that. No bar, no restaurant, no furnishings in the lobby, we were disappointed. It was clean, if sparse and the room was larger than some others we stayed in, but it was a long way out from the historic part of Turin, which is beautiful and where you want to spend your time. Dont be fooled. Get something in the historic center nearer to the river and you will have a much better time in this great city.

From the first day of my stay, I have realized that there is NO security lock inside, but I thought it should be ok since the area seems to be a safe place. And the hotel seems to be clean and modest. However, on the last day, somebody opened my room when I was in toilet !!! The toilet door was slightly open and he partially saw me. I shouted him to leave the room in English and repeated. He sounded Italian and didn’t understand me, I thought he was one of the housekeepers. Then he turned out to be a guest with a key card trying my room mistakenly but were able to open my door with his card !!! The manager told me later there was a technical issue with the key cards. Anyway, it was my private moment as a woman and exposed, which was not nice at all and ruined my day. At least the manager and the staff apologized me and offered mini bar free but I just used the water bottles, was not in the mood to do anything. That night I put a chair behind the entry door just to block someone if they try to open again. Just because of their apology, I made my ranking from terrible to poor.

Big spacious room, quite minimalist in design but comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast had a good mix of pastries and breads with a bit of cheese and meat, yoghurt and fruit - great for us but perhaps not so good if you like a full English. Public transport stops are outside and the hotel sells day travel cards for €4-5. Otherwise there are loads of e-scooters around or it’s quite a long walk into town.

The staff were friendly enough and did their upmost best to help and accommodate the customers. I was disappointed as there isn’t a restaurant for lunch and dinner however the breakfast is very good. It’s very close to transport into the main city. The rooms are nice of modern decor. Staff are helpful and also speak English.

Comfortable hotel near tram link to centre

We needed 24 hrs reception and transfer from our late night flight which the hotel arranged for us. All went very smoothly with driver waiting at airport. Beds were very comfortable and we were happy with our 4 man room with plenty of space for my family for the night. Breakfast was good too. Bought our tram tickets at reception which give 100 minutes travel on local bus and trams for about €6.50 I think. Able to leave our luggage whilst we explored Turin. Very happy with our stay.

Very clean room. Friendly Staff. Good area for transportation. Only I didn't like the shower, it was in the bathtub with a very high step to enter the tub. A little difficult with my bad knees. The rest of the bathroom was clean and very good. Otherwise a very good hotel with a nice breakfast. I would stay here again if I'm in Torino, Italy.

Very good choice in Turin

The hotel is called now Best Quality Hotel Politechnico.
It has been refurbished just some months ago, all the furniture is new (albeit a bit on the cheap side) but it offers the same comfort of a 4 star hotel anywhere in Italy.
For once, my double bed actually had a king size mattress, not just two single matresses squeezed together.
Breakfast was rather simple, but with all the basics you would need. I arrived really late for breakfast and there was no more omelette.
Check-out was super easy.
Tramline 15 runs just in front of the hotel, directly to Piazza Castello - 10 min or less.

Too Far from City Center

This hotel is ok for the price. Watch about the extra fees for breakfast. It was not included in our price and it was not cheap. We ended up finding a place to buy food and ate in our room. This hotel is close to the dorms of the school my son was studying at, but nothing else. I would look for something closer to the city center if I were traveling again as this hotel is really nothing special.

Great hotel for the price we paid

Stayed at San Paolo only on night. The hotel was located in a decent area, though somewhat boring and uneventful. The room we stayed at was abundant for two people, it even included a small kitchenette which we did not use. I must emphasize that the hotel was clean - we were a bit worried that the low price we paid would suggest dirty rooms, but were wrong. Overall I was pleased with the stay. The breakfast included in our nightly rate was a nice extra perk to have.

This place was great - the rooms were very simple (university residence-style) but had a little kitchenette and the service at the front desk and the breakfast were simply wonderful. So friendly and so helpful! Location is fine - but stop is right out front and you are downtown in about 8 minutes!

The hotel is OK for a short stay, but for more than 3 days I would not recommend. Surrounding the hotel is depressing, in fact the hotel is in the industrial part of town in the former building of Fiat. What I can positively assess is the breakfast which was plentiful and tasty.

Good value, very helpful staff, especially the male receptionist, large room and bathroom, good breakfast. The location only is a bit away from the center, but very conveniently connected by bus and tram. Be sure to buy tickets at the reception, otherwise not so easily available. Secure parking just outside, not expensive, or alternative you could park just outside. If you don't mind going by public transport or taxi (10-15 euro), this is deffinitely worth it!

Amazing value including breakfast and a free bottle of wine.

Helpful, friendly staff and spotlessly clean rooms.

You will not be disappointed if you stay here as long as you are not expecting 5-star luxury.

Room prices bracket it with Travelodge, Campenile etc. - Hotel residence is so much better than them.

Finding the hotel was diffcult as we drove into Torino. It was tucked away behind industrial buildings. So good directions is a must before driving .
The details or facilities of the hotel are not explained at reception ie we didnt know that a pool existed!
The room was good size for 3 people. Bathroom slightly small but adequate. Breakfast was a nice area and had a good selection of food and coffee. Hotel was close to tram and bus routes into centre of city- unfortunately it was sunday and many shops were closed.
CarParking was free outside the hotel which was good, didnt have to pay!
The location is agrarian so dont plan on a nice outlook but rather that it is for sleeping comfortably only -dont think of it as a resort. Are is quiet.

Hôtel pas proche du centre mais les transports à proximité ont été utiles
Le petit-déjeuner était varié.
Le seul bémol, qui a toutefois son importance puisque la douche était minuscule à cause d'une colonne prenez la majeure partie de la douche. Un point très négatif pour cela.
Le personnel était très sympathique et à l'écoute pour le petit-déjeuner et l'accueil.

Best Quality Hotel Politecnico in Turin left much to be desired. The location was quite inconvenient, as it required traveling a considerable distance to reach any major attractions or central areas. This made getting around the city frustrating and time-consuming. The rooms were just okay—clean and functional but nothing special. C’est la deuxième fois que nous venons dans cet hôtel et les prestations sont identiques . Nous espérions une amélioration du petit dej qui est sommaire et goût qualité très moyen. Malheureusement non. Pour le reste c’est très bien : grande chambre et salle de bain , propre et moderne, juste dommage que le lit soit petit. C’est calme et il y a un parking . Arrêt transport public à 2 min pour aller en ville. La personne qui nous a accueilli était super.
Une petite attention aurait été bien appréciable dû fait que c’était un anniversaire le jour même et que j’avais envoyé un message exprès . Mais rien , dommage.

piccolo aneddoto: avevo bisogno di un taxi che la signorina ha immediatamente contattato. Purtroppo era una giornata complicata per i Taxi a causa di un evento importante nella città e la sig.na è rimasta in attesa per un po' di tempo. Alla mia richiesta di una possibile tempistica, la sig.na, col telefono tra l'orecchio e la spalla, mentre continuava a lavorare su altro, ha esclamato: NON SI PREOCCUPI, IO NON MOLLO.
Piccole cose che ti fanno sentire \"coccolato\".

Merveilleux séjour.

Une très belle surprise. Hôtel très bien situé en périphérie du centre mais accessible facilement avec le tram juste devant. Chambre familial immense avec terrasse et surtout très très propre.
Le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins, toute l'équipe a été vraiment adorable.
Le petit déjeuner est varié, le café est frais et oeufs brouillés/bacon, pancakes... Il y en a pour tous les goûts. Nous avons pris le parking de l'hôtel, le tarif est plus que raisonnable.
Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Points positifs : Quartier tranquille. Moyens de transport pour le centre ville, assez proche. Parking. Personnel agréable. Petit déjeuner correct mais sans plus. Points négatifs : pas de restaurant pour un hôtel 4 étoiles !! Zone avec peu des restaurants tout autour. Literie /matelas un peu dur. Problème salle de bains: radiateur qui coule! Toujours on se pose la même question. Il s’agit bien d’un hôtel 4 étoiles ? Pour conclure le prix n’est pas justifié.

Moderne og dejligt hotel i yderkanten af Torino med rigtig fine og Rene værelser, morsom detalje med skiltet under sengen med påskrift: der er også rent under sengen, den havde jeg ikke set før.

Perfect hotel, zeer schoon, modern en prima kamer en voorzieningen. Rustige buurt. Goed ontbijt. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.
Beveiligd parkeerterrein tegen geringe vergoeding. Het is ongeveer 2 km lopen naar historisch centrum. Goede restaurants in de buurt. Personeel geeft hier goede informatie over en regelt de reserveringen.

Wir haben 3 Nächte in diesem sehr guten 3* Hotel verbrscht. Das Zimmer war sauber + gross, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bonne adresse touristique.

Hôtel récent bien tenu. Accueil prévenant. Chambre spacieuse et très propre. Climatisation douce. Petit déjeuner un peu rapide en période Covid. Parking de surface vidéo surveillé. Tram direct pour centre.

Sono stato più volte in questo hotel e il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo. Personale gentile. Camere pulite. Un appunto negativo relativo all'ultimo soggiorno lo devo fare perchè avevo prenotato una tripla che mi è stata regolarmente assegnata ma che aveva il bagno per disabili. Dopo mia rimostranza, il giorno dopo mi è stata assegnata una stanza tripla per normodotati. Nel complesso comunque lo consiglio vivamente.

Camera molto ampia e comoda, tanto che si sarebbe potuto ridurne un po' le dimensioni a vantaggio di quelle del bagno, che, pur dotato di una doccia di dimensioni \"generose\", presenta spazi un po' troppo limitati

Hotel

Very good service, clean room and good breakfast. It's a very good 3 star hotel. Of course it is outside from the centre, but easily reached on foot or public transport.
