What an amazing Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food Devine and the views and pool in our pool villa were superb. The property does need a little maintenance in rooms but they are if the hugest standard in cleanliness so you can overlook this. We will definitely be back again.

At check-in they said breakfast was part of our room. But later in the day said it was not and made us pay. It is also not clear that the hotel has NO restaurant. So while we didn't want to order the full breakfast (we usually want to do a simple a la carte of coffee and pastry) we had no other option.

The customer service was pretty good with some minor issues. We requested a taxi and they forgot to call for it so we ended up waiting quite a while, we ordered breakfast to our room for a set time and it never arrived (they lost our breakfast paper so it had to be redone). We left the hotel before sunrise and there was no lighting near where the taxis pick up/entrance to the hotel, there was a step down I couldn’t see and nearly tripped.

The view from the hotel was pretty and the pool was clean.

The room had a musty smell and the bathroom could definitely use an upgrade. There is only a bath with a shower nozzle, no actual shower. This made it difficult to bathe as I had to hold the shower handle and constantly adjust the water temperature and power, it would fluctuate from extreme hot to warm and the water pressure would adjust from normal to extreme/painful.

The hotel charged 1000 baht for a ride to the airport and they had a taxi they would call to take you to Patong for 350 when the shuttle wasn’t running. For a ride back from Patong taxis wanted 500 and tuk tuks 400, they complained about the drive up the steep hill.

Third time staying here. In fact we booked 3 nights and extended our stay for another 4 nights.
Although out the way of shops, restaurants etc it is easy to book a cab through reception.
We order room service for lunch and food always good.
Staff very helpful, rooms spacious and clean.
We like being out of the way. Kamala very close and Patong not too far either.
Having your own pool is perfect.
We really love it here. Highly recommend

Our third time staying here. We really like it. Our own little piece of tranquillity. Nicely hidden out the way but easily accesible to Kamala and Patong. Having a private pool with our room is perfect. Room service food is good and we usually dmbring our own cereal for breakfast.

A great place to get away from it all.

The hotel is comfortable and it was a delight to just relax and chill by your own individual pool. The food is nothing special but worth it is you are just looking to unwind without hassle. I enjoyed my Thai green curry and Tom Yum soup, as well as the delicious prawns. It was an ideal setting for a long weekend away from the hustle bustle of Shanghai. The 3 nights were perfect and the trip was topped of with a short shopping visit to Phuket town on our last day. We will return.

Amala Grand Bleu Resort Kammala Beach Phuket DO NOT STAY at this hotel. In addition to the staff ripping off tourists and fleecing them of their money the rooms are dangerous and it is difficult to get anyone to help you that can speak English.
For example i had a nasty fall in the bathroom because the floor is smooth ceramic tiles and I ended up in hospital with little assistance from the staff because they couldn’t speak English. To add insult to injury we were then billed 3 times for the hotel room (for a 12-night stay)
The 3rd amount was refunded to us eventually but we only got 50% of the 2nd amount due to a dispute about our booking .
If you stay at this hotel DO NOT GIVE your credit card details under ANY circumstances! We have contacted both the Thailand and Australian authorities but they can do little to help us. If we could rate this hotel lower than 1 we would! Please be aware if you do decide to stay there.

I stayed in 2 different room types - partial seaview and grand seaview. Room size was good and both had a big pool. However, we felt the view for grand seaview room hardly differed from partial seaview.

Also, the grand seaview room does not come with a shower stall. It only has a bathtub that comes with a handheld shower head with a very short hose. I had to squat/kneel in the bathtub when showering.

Food quality needs major improvement.

Resort provided a free shuttle to Jungceylon at regular intervals, which is much appreciated.

Smart TV in the rooms comes with Netflix.

For a 3 star property, i would say it has tried its best in terms of service. But standard things like lacking a proper shower facility should not have been looked over.

The room the clealiness is all perfect. I love everything about the room just one thing maybe the reception staff need to do improvement.
For check in staff average but for the lady that check us out for me not friendly at all. I saw a lady still do the check in and fill up the form. So i approach the counter and she Don’t even bother to ask me. I am so disappointed on that. I paid the rate also. When come to check in i don’t even have any welcomed drinks. Instead need to wait for 1 hour at the lobby with no offered to have a drinks.
About the room all good the condition the view the cleanliness i love it!
Need to do some improvement about the staff.

2) Room size is great
Cons- 1) suitable for traveler who are driving as resort are up on the hill
2) room looks exactly what shown on the website, but they need to improve on their housekeeping and also maintenance of the room as there are ants on table and kitchen area. Ceiling are covered with watermarks and corners of the room are not well-kept.
3) staff should be more attentive, my husband has request for a cake to sent to our room for my birthday but they did not turn up. Seems that they have forget about it.

There were a few issues when we first checked in. Aircon was leaking. Even after the maintenance came to rectify the issue, it continued to leak again and there was no maintenance at night. With the exception of the receptionist and duty manager, there does not seem to be any maintenance or housekeeping at night. There were also other issues which I am glad to say was rectified by someone called Pawan. I think he may be the manager. He dealt with the issues professionally and efficiently. Other than that, the stay was fantastic. We stayed in the oceanview room. There was a huge swimming pool, dining area, living area and bedroom. It is definitely not 5 star but it is value for money. Housekeeping staff were friendly and the drivers for the shuttle service was also friendly. Reception staff not exactly friendly. There was only 1 reception staff who stood out, Natda. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Really helped make our stay wonderful. By the way, they don't replenish your toothbrush so its a good idea to bring your own toothpaste and brush when you stay here. They have free shuttle to patong, which is a good thing as travelling in phuket is expensive.

Very nice rooms with private pool. Was disappointed that my room wasn't on the top floor as I paid for a full sea view and felt mine was a partial. Did tell reception to be told this was also a full sea view when it wasn't and upstairs was fully booked. Not happy on that part as they should have made sure I had a room on top floor as that's what I paid for.
But sayin that... I was more than happy with the room itself. Very big, separate lounge to watch tv, good size private pool, ok view of the sea on my part, friendly staff. Was one of the best places I have stayed in phuket and I have been coming for the last 7 years. Good price for the room. A tv in the bedroom would have been a nice touch. But was more then happy here and didn't want to leave!! Stayed for 2 nights but will stay for more next time for sure.

Stayed at this hotel for only 3 nights and wish it was longer.Its a quiet place and is the only place I have ever stayed where there is a small infinity pool outside your bedroom door just for yourselves.Price was excellent value for money.Its up a steep hill so helps if you have transport(don't know if they had a shuttle bus).We hired a car so no issues for myself.
Breakfast cost 300 bahts each-and was very good-served in your room.
Its about 2 miles outside Patong,so ideal for calmness.
Staff very friendly and helpful-could not fault my stay.

Perfect Villa a bit far from the action

We stayed in a lower room the first three nights and it was perfect. The room was huge and immaculate! The pool was private with a gorgeous view! The last three nights we stayed in an upper room. Better view yet no shower. Only a small bath tub. Fortunately my gal was very helpful. I found it odd that such a glorious hotel would have a giant bathroom with no shower.

Could be amazing with a bit more work!

Your very own pool for the price, you can’t go wrong! It’s beautiful! And to watch the sunsets from your own infinity pool was incredible. Free transfers into Patong a couple of times a day, wish they did them more frequent. The last one finished at 4.30pm. On a night we paid 400Baht to get a taxi back and they made us walk up the hill as we refused to pay an extra 100 to the top haha, burnt off our food! Finishings of the room weren’t great. No atmosphere in the resort, tiny old school reception desk.

To begin with we were offered an upgrade and we agreed and paid about 60$ more, our room (the upgrade) had two air conditioners, both had a huge leakage problem, I mean HUGE. We asked for a refund they said no, that they will move us (but didn't take into accountability that I spent a whole night cleaning floors with our towels because I was scared we would slip and fall and our luggage would get wet. THEN, we were moved to a room on the second day. The couches were ripped. Great. On one of the days we asked if we could have ONE clean towel to take to a boat we were going on, they said no, the towels can't leave the room, we asked what if we pay, then they said yes sure if you pay 300 Bahts. Really? To top it off, the room doesn't have a shower. I repeat, NO SHOWER. I read it on a review here before but I didn't think that was serious! It has a small tub. No shower head. Just a tub.

Its very fare from the road ,No room service in the hotel ,If you need to have food ,the hotel will order for you from very bad restaurant with five stars price ...The quality of the food is below humane bean use ,the breakfast room was below average with untrained Filipino staff who know nothing ,Cats & dogs Charing you the table and the food also and the staff looking at you as its very normal ,Reception English knowledge is Zero ,
I took a suite with private pool ,the pool was not bad ( BUT ) No shower place at all and that was annoying me big time and i was lucky enough that my booking only for two nights during that No shower at all ,when ever i need it i will go to the pool .

Great stay in a lovely hotel.

Had a great 6 night stay in a ocean view grand suite. It felt like we were in our own villa as not overlooked at all. Staff lovely, only thing lacking was good restaurant and bar facilities but lots around in Kamala and Patong. Preferred Karon area as seemed quieter. Definitely recommend using car as steep incline road to hotel.

Very hard beds and super high pillows.

Look the personal pool is nice but not sure how clean but couldn't handle the hard beds so didn't sleep well for the whole 5 nights we were ready to check out and find another hotel but when you prepay its a bit hard to do. The staff don't know what you are talking about when you ask for a mattress topper or something to soften the bed most had trouble with english. On checkin they took a photocopy of our passports then left them on the photocopier which we only discovered after an hour or too. Doesn't help when you arrive tired and you aren't on the boil and staff saying sorry we are new. The property is right away from everything so you will need transport or hire a bike or car. Their free shuttle 4 times a day to Patong is only avail if the driver turns up which he didn't when we were there. Taxi to Patong or Kamala 300baht but can be more going back to property as not everyone knows where it is Its classified as Nakatani Village not Kamala. If I went back I'd stay at Kamala as plenty to do there and not isolated

If you like quite area and amazing views I recommend this place,it has amazing private pool.
It's problem is that its not near to anything (far and expensive to go to patong but they have shuttel service), no restaurants, no shopping, only the reataurant in the other hotel which was delicious. Another cons was that too much expensive taxis to go anywhere, and if you have no ride you have to go over veeeeeeeeeeery long and veeery steep hill which is very dangerous. Also no elevator and no help in laugage. Most thing we liked about it was the pool and the price. I recommend if you wanna stay in that hotel to go on higher level as it will have a better view.

Amazing pool villa, worth every dollar!

This resort is total amazing. The images look the same as per actual, it has a large pool to dive straight in - all from the comfort of your room. The luxury sea view room is very comfortable and serves good quality meals (room service). However, note that breakfast is not included though it was claimed when i book the room. All the rest is well!

不知所謂完全沒有服務態度尤其員工簡直言語都不能形容私人泳池危險到不得了泳池內磁磚已經損毀幾乎隻腳踩落去一定見血本身酒店可以租車唔知點解日日都話畀你聽full咗但係我親眼見到員工打眼色，到第二日我再問有冇車租本來有一個員說還有一架電單車。但另一個員工同佢打眼色之後又話full咗仲好笑到叫我哋自己搭車去芭東海灘租車電視有冇得睇要員工整佢望兩望就話冇辦法叫你睇youtube 其實我第一日入住我見到員工面口都好醒目地派曬貼士但係幫唔到幾多我諗如果冇畀貼士都唔知點算仲有好多不滿意我都費事講啦總之千祈千祈唔好租這裏真係會嘥咗你嘅旅遊心情。就算唔使錢送畀我住。我打死都唔會再住

Une réceptionniste qui vous accueille avec une boisson fraîche et surtout un anglais de très bon niveau. Nous sommes arriver a 10h a cause de notre vol mais nous avons pu entrer dans la chambre que a 13h meme avecun bebe de 4 mois. Alors que nous avions fait unz demande pour prevenir notre heure d'arriver et en amont envoyer un email. Sinon une fois entrer dans la chambre c'est juste MAGNIFIQUE propre beau parfait. Dommage que la wifi ne fonctionne pas une tv ecrant plat avec smart tv qui malheureusement ne sert a rien sans bon reseaux internet. Sinon nous avont payer 1000 bath pour un taxi de l'hotel a un hotel a 10 min de bantao ne prenez pas le taxi sur place.

Better not to ask for a taxi

Everything fine except when we ask for the taxi. We ask it for 20:00 but at 18:00 the reception ask us to change for 20:20, we accepted. No one shows up until 20:40 and then reception says the price was 350 bath instead of 300 I payed because their taxi was not available and they call an external one. Real price I pay using grab for the same route was 130!

3日間滞在しました。値段以上のホテルでまた来たいと思いました。ただ、ホテルまでの道が急こう配でびっくりしました。
私はレンタカーでしたので全く問題ありませんでしたが
歩きやバイクはかなりきついと思います。

贅沢ですが
気になったのは歯ブラシが初日だけ。
バスローブは１個洗濯忘れ？
あとプール用バスタオルがあればいいなと思いました。
せっかくのプライベートプールなので何度も入るのでバスタオル
１つでは足りません。
他はカンペキ！留守中に果物も置いてくれたり、とても嬉しかったです。

Eigener Pool ist sehr schön. Zimmer ist sehr groß. Personal ist sehr freundlich, spricht aber sehr schlecht Englisch.

Amazing view with private pool

Even the location is far from Patong & Kamala beach, the view with sunset is amazing and excellent. Strongly recommend travellers for booking seaview room. One of improvement is only a bathtub without cover or doors so the floor is extremely wet after bath

Gewollt, aber nicht gekonnt

Ich war vor 4 Jahren schon einmal in dem Hotel. Damals war es sehr sauber und wirkte sehr neu.
4 Jahre später ist davon leider nichts mehr übrig geblieben. Das einzig positive ist die Größe des Zimmers und der kostenlose Shuttle an die Mall am Patong Beach.
Das Hotel wirkt mittlerweile heruntergekommen und Schönheitsreparaturen müssen gemacht werden. Der private Pool ist zwar cool, aber leider nicht sauber. Zudem liegt das Hotel auf einem extrem steilen und langen Hügel, was die Erreichbarkeit stark einschränkt ohne Roller oder Taxi. Einfach mal schnell runter gehen ist nicht drin.
Beim Frühstück kann man aus 3 Varianten wählen. Diese 3 Varianten können aber nicht individuell angepasst werden. Auch auf Nachfrage bezüglich Intolleranzen oder Allergien wurde nichts angepasst.
Daher das ernüchternde Fazit:
Für ein Hotel, das sich als Oberklasse gibt, ist es eher ein gutes Hostel.
Wenn alles renoviert wird, dann kann es wieder eine 4-5 Sterne Unterkunft werden, aber im Moment stimmt das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht.

Amala Grand Bleu oteli, şehir merkezinden uzakta, bir dağın ve ormanın içinde balayı ya da sakin tatil isteyenler için uygun bir otel. Odanın kendine ait sonsuzluk havuzu ve oda, aynen fotoğraflarda göründüğü gibi. Otelde hiç bir aktivite yok, lobisi bile yok; çünkü, dağın içine kat kat yapılmış. Bu sebeple gerçekten huzur ve muhteşem sonsuzluk havuzunda orman ve deniz manzarası seyretmek isteyenlerin tercih edeceği huzur veren bir otel... Restoranı kullanılmayan otelde, kahvaltılar son derece estetik ve kaliteli ve lezzetli olarak odaya servis ediliyor, akşamdan kahvaltı tercihinizi (American, İngiliz ya da Continental) resepsiyondaki görevliye sipariş veriyorsunuz. Akşam yemeğinizi de odaya ekstra ücret ödeyerek söyleyebiliyorsunuz, fiyatlar böyle bir otel için gayet makul, çok pahalı değil. Görevliler her konuda size yardımcı olmaya çalışıyor. Otelle ilgili olumsuz söyleyeceğim tek şey, gözle görmenin bile zor olduğu minik ve aşırı hızlı böceklerin her yerde olması. Çok rahatsız edici bu durumda giderilirse otele daha kalite katar.
