Highly recommended, this was a last minute booking because I needed a couple rooms for my family after previous plans fell through. This hotel was recommended on Expedia with 4.4 stars and I frankly feel that rating should be higher. The staff was friendly, professional and accomodating. If you're ever in this part of the city (Iztapalapa) you can't go wrong.

I was very impressed with this hotel. The staff and daily cleaning service were excellent. The restaurant offered a good choice of meals and 24 hour room service at no additional cost! There is a very modern and huge 3 story Mall within a 5-10 minute walk and a large shopping strip across the street with a Walmart, Starbucks, Kentucky fried chicken. I did buy my usual cup of coffee at Starbucks and was surprised to pay less than half of my usual price! My preference however was buying from the street vendors that are found everywhere! As for transportation, I went with a private driver (Hotel can help) rather than rent a car or take public transportation. It was less stressful and the price, which is negotiable was reasonable.

The best part of our stay was it located to a shopping plaza. We booked it because it was close to the airport. The area was ok. The hotel was smoke friendly per our rooms had ash trays and could smoke inside the hotel restaurant.

First of all i would like to thank the effort of the staff, they did their best with little. I would like to request a credit to the amount of my stay at abastos plaza. While the staff were nice, the room service food was cool and had an odd odor, the room key never worked and had to be reissued each time i wanted to enter the room. The wifi barely connected, and the television was intermittent. Only because i was unable to book elsewhere did i add an additional night, but i would appreciate it if you all at hotels.com could make this right.

I was there for the Formula 1 Race. As far as location and convenience to the event I was attending, it was good. Traffic in Mexico City is always terrible,so even though the event was 2 miles away from the hotel, it was a 13 to 20 minute Uber ride. If you are visiting the City to experience site seeing, cultural or food, this is not the hotel for you. If you are attending an event at the race track (racing, baseball, concerts etc), then this is a good place. Overall, I was pleased with my stay.

I picked this place because of the buffet breakfast which is delicious especially on the weekend. I loved the firm the pillows the most and the bed. The overall hotel is very clean and stylish. I would stay here again. They like to conserve so you must use your door key for the lights and A/C which worked fine in my room. The bathroom toiletries are cheap and I realize it’s because they are constantly taken by guests so bring your own soap, toothpaste, lotion if you’re particular. I was having allergies to something in the room which I think was the green “wool” blanket or maybe dust from the A/C vent. B+ to A.

Good hotel, adequate restaurant, nice room, friendly staff, but could not open the windows for fresh air due to the busy traffic zooming by all night long. We did not sleep well due to the heavy pollution in Mexico City, and the never ending noise of automobiles. No air in the room, just a air conditioning fan running to circulate the air, which was full of carbon monoxides due to the busy roadway in front of the hotel.

Abastos Plaza is nicer and less expensive than most airport hotels close to MEX but is a bit farther from the airport (7 km, 150 peso cab ride) than I thought. There is a really good steak restaurant, La Antigua, that is an easy walk of about a half-mile that serves really excellent rib eye in a nice setting.
