Casa Jacinta is a lovely property in the leafy green Coyoacan area. It is an old house converted into a hotel. Our two bed room was on the main floor, convenient for stairs. It had two beds and was very spacious, with doors out to the lovely walled garden. It was very quiet. The breakfast was delicious and Sara the cook very nice. It is easy walking distance to the Frida Kahlo museum and Coyoacan historic center. One tip if taking Uber--there is also a Casa Jacinto! Not the same place! Be sure to put in Casa JacintA.

The location was great and within easy walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and attractions.

That said, the property did not fully match what was advertised at the time of booking. The listing stated daily housekeeping and a 24-hour front desk, which were not available for one night during my stay. That same night, we returned late to find no towels in the room and no staff on site to assist.

Additionally, there are dogs kept in the same complex right outside the guest house that bark loudly during the day beginning around 9 a.m., which may be disruptive for guests hoping to sleep in.

Overall, while the location was a highlight, the lapse in services and daytime noise issues impacted the experience. I would recommend confirming amenities directly with the property before booking.

The property is generally quiet, but some nearby dogs raised a ruckus on occasion. There were decent local restaurants, parks, and artisanal shops in relatively easy walking distance.

The washers in the shower and wash basin vales were old and it took a bit of effort to get them to stop dripping.

Friendly staff, extra bottles of water were available, location is excellent and close to the plaza and plenty of restaurants. Plenty of coffee and tea, beautiful dinning room and patio.

The only negative was finding the location at night in a rental car, and no one was available to answer the phone for directions.

This is my second stay here. The location is perfect. The price is reasonable. The host is super friendly and helpful. Maria makes a traditional Mexican breakfast, and it’s delicious. Our room opened to a darling garden.
This is not a fancy hotel. However, I’ve tried many places in Coyoacán and Condesa, and this is my favorite.

Casa Jacinta is perfectly located for visits to craft markets, cafes, restaurants, parks, and especially the Frida Kahlo house.

Staff are warm, rooms are large and comfortable, and the breakfast is tasty. There are indoor and outdoor spaces to relax in, and the entire \"casa\" is filled with amazing art.

I would happily stay at Casa Jacinta again.

Casa Jacinta is beautiful and the staff are very pleasant. The one thing is their neighbor. Unfortunately, they had really loud small dogs that barked most of the night. They smoke heavily so you smell cigarettes often. There is a rooster adjacent that adds to the noise all night. It’s such a charming historical home but if you want to sleep at night, don’t count on it at least on the 19th side of the street.

Casa Jacinta is really beautiful and peaceful - perfect if you have enough time in cdmx to explore more than one neighbourhood. I think for me as a solo woman travelling in my 30s it was maybe a bit too quiet, but that is no reflection on Casa Jacinta at all. Breakfast was delicious - especially huevos revueltos con nopal y salsa! The bed was huge and comfortable, after a month of travelling it was nice to watch tv in bed too!

Note it’s a bit of a walk to the nearest Metro station, so allow for that if you are using public transportation to get around (it works great once you get to the station). The staff & manager are very kind & accommodating. My Cabin rooms smelled musty so they moved me to smaller but beautiful room & refunded partially. They make hot Breakfast that is incredible- but ends at 9:30 a.m., so don't miss it. I left my bags in managers office to do museums and they helped me carry them to my Uber when I left. I've stayed here twice and love it. My kiddo stayed here last time & loved it too. Very nice neighborhood for strolling- close to beautiful park & Frida Kahlo museum. Definitely recommend this B&B.

Casa Jacinta is a very quaint guest house. We really enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it without hesitation to anyone wanting to stay in the Coyoacán. The property itself is beautiful and unique, after all it was designed by a family of artists. Walking to the local squares to eat and sightsee was an easy walk.

if you like to stay away from the big franchises for a while, Casa Jacinta will offer you a very nice stay and a friendly staff, just a few steps away from great restaurants, plazas to walk around and coyoacan is full of mexican culture at is best!!!

This is a nice boutique guest house, friendly staff, great house made breakfast, and walking distance from Coyoacan city center.
During check-in, there was no mention about the possibility of an upgrade (if available) nor I was communicated about the Free Breakfast as perk being a Gold Member at a VIP Access property.
After leaving a comment they reached out the next day about breakfast and to apologize for the miscommunication.
Overall, it is a small, charming property for a relaxing getaway.

This stay was so great!! The property is beautiful, the house has so much character. The room was perfect and spacious. If you get lucky you might get the room with a nice balcony. Your room is cleaned daily and breakfast is available for an extra charge. I picked this property because I wanted a quiet neighborhood and I got just that. The street the house is on is very quiet. I came home on my own pretty late at night and always felt very safe. I have nothing negative to say, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. If you’re thinking about staying here, do it! You will not regret it.

You HAVE to stay here!

Just an absolutely beautiful location and a wonderfully preserved building with FANTASTIC character! Lovely every morning and evening, our host was accommodating and easy-going, even spending some time to teach our boys some chess moves. Very clean, very friendly, good communication, and very helpful with our personal expeditions. Would definitely stay again!

Nos encantó!!! Siempre prefiero al area de Coyoacan y este lugar esta ubicado en una de las calles mas bellas, ademas pude caminar todos los dias al parque los Viveros a correr. Tambien puedes caminar al centro de Coyoacan. La habitacion super limpia, amplia, con un jardin muy bello. El desayuno inigualable. Todas las personas lindisimas. Un espacio verde dentro de la urbe. Precioso.

Casa Jacinta is amazing!

Casa Jacinta is a wonderful place to stay - it was a great home-base for our exploration of Coyoacan and the CDMX region. We felt safe and well-cared for. The breakfast was always amazing and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Our kids said it was their favorite thing about visiting Coyoacan.
