Excelentes cuartos , lo malo es que cobran el estacionamiento y para ir por tu carro tienes que ir a hacer fila a el lobby y ahí te sellan una hojita y te dan otro boleto , una pérdida de tiempo increíble , no cobren estacionamiento , el hotel excelente ubicación y todo decente !

The lighting set-up. The only light switch for the room was at the door and the configuration did not allow for lighting solely over the bed. The other lighting issue was for the bathroom. In order to turn a light on in the shower and toilet area was to turn on the mirror light in the bedroom, disturbing others who are sleeping.

I had prepaid my reservation in advance, yet I was charged regardless, and I had to request a refund to recover my payment. Furthermore, I had requested an upgrade with a superior view and a king-size bed, for which I was charged $175.00; however, I received the worst view in the hotel, and my request for a king-size bed was denied, with no effort made to provide a better service. I do not recommend this Hotel and I highly recommend you to make sure they don’t double charge you for the stay

We recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, our experience was not very positive regarding safety and management. During our stay, a glass door broke, which resulted in my child getting injured—he cut his foot and hand. This was very concerning, as I feel this situation could have been prevented and it is not safe for other guests, especially children.

When I reported the incident, the manager’s response was very disappointing. He only agreed to move us to another room after I requested it, but there was no apology or any effort to properly address what had happened. I wasn’t looking for any free compensation, but I did expect the situation to be handled with more care and professionalism.

I am sharing this review to make other guests aware and to hopefully encourage the hotel to improve safety measures and train staff to handle incidents like this more appropriately in the future.

Declining Standards – I Won’t Return

I used to stay at the Hyatt Mexico City twice a year for business trips. That’s over now. My recent five-night stay was a disaster: I had to switch rooms three times due to hygiene issues, broken fixtures, and lack of water pressure. On the first night, the bed had hair and torn sheets. No one responded via WhatsApp or phone — I had to call room service just to get clean bedding.

In another room, the showerhead came off mid-shower. In the third, there was barely any water pressure. I also used the laundry service — my clothes went missing for two days, and staff couldn’t track them down until the morning I checked out.

Throughout the stay, the staff was distant and unhelpful. At checkout, the attitude was downright rude.

This level of service is unacceptable for a hotel in this category. I won’t be coming back.

Pesima experiencia Hyatt Regency MX Insurgentes

Arruino todo el proceso de check-out, un día anterior habia solicitado apoyo para contar servicio de taxi para el traslado al aeropuerto, hasta ahi todo se hizo perfecto. El problema fue que llegando a recepción (19/03 a la 6:15) habia una situación-problema con unos clientes y me tuvieron 25 minutos parado esperando ser atendido, requeria salir puntual ya que tenia que tener mi traslado al aeropuerto. Al ser atendido y reclamar al encargado la respuesta fue que \"tenia que entender por la situación\", una respuesta sumamente indiferente, faltante de servicio e interes por sus clientes, tengo años (incluyendo internacionalmente) hospendandome en esta cadena de hoteles y tengan por seguro que despues de esta experiencia jamas lo considerare o recomendare, la expectativa a este nivel es un servicio arriba del promedio, esta persona en particular no deberia de estar en esa cadena de hoteles

Dirty rooms

Second time I stay here, and cleanliness of the room has been an issue both times. This time it was worse. The room was poorly cleaned upon arrival (hair on the floor, trash in a trashcan) and the available room to switch had a dirty toilet. I preferred to stay in the original room to discover later that the coffee machine had not been cleaned, the coffee cup was dirty, and the water in the shower didn't drain. Even when all the staff was very nice, it was a disappointing experience because of how dirty the rooms were.

What an incredibly wonderful experience to stay at this hotel. I travel a lot and it’s rare that a hotel is absolute perfection. Such is the case with the Hyatt Regency Mexico City Insurgentes. This is the place to stay if your in Mexico City, all staff treat you very well. Amazing breakfast each morning, waiters Aurora and Jesus are the best. The higher up your room the less noise you hear from the city. You have many walkable places near by from shopping to dining. You can catch the city bus right in front of the hotel, which is one of the fastest transportation methods in the city. If I were to return to CDMX I would definitely stay here again.

Todo fue excelente menos 3 cosas

No nos gustó por 3 razones.
1. El showerhead del baño con manguera se zafó cuando lo iba a usar.
2. No tenia manera de poner el seguro en la puerta para salir a terraza.
3. Cuarto con terraza se ubica en 5to piso y solo podíamos ver otros edificios ( no vista de la ciudad)

Overall I really liked this hotel. However, please note that one side of the building faces another building which is really like a wall—it has no windows on that side and is only a few feet away from the hotel. So if you have a room that is facing that building expect to have almost no sunlight as the building is so close and blocks the light and completely blocks the view. They likely give guests who book through third party sites like Orbitz rooms that face this building. So my recommendation is that you ask when you check in if the room has an obstructed view and if it does ask for a room facing a different direction—otherwise don’t be surprised if you’re in a “dark cave”. Otherwise the hotel is pleasant with nice staff and very clean/new.
