the staff receptionist was wonderful, but the entire hotel simply needed more service. He was trying to check in several groups at once and many of the rooms had problems. Some had no working electrical outlets, some had not been cleaned and one even still had another guest in it. he was doing his best, but needed more help.

Bizarre experience. Check-in took 45 minutes and required me to blunder alone around a dark, empty, dirty hotel looking for a room that didn't exist. Lights off, staircases leading nowhere, furniture upside down, dirty coffee cups on the tables, reception desk unstaffed, no heating in common areas. (The photos on this site seem to have been taken 10 years ago.) Eventually had to phone a Stuttgart number to get directed to a different building in which there was a single room with barely-functioning wifi, a dirty shower and a door onto the street that wasn't fully lockable. Also, I discovered by accident that my key also unlocked a room occupied by another guest. Would not recommend.

I will avoid this hotel at all cost. My luggage and baby staff were taken out of the room after the check out hour although I spoke at reception and asked to have a late check out. The manager and staff at the hotel were very unprofessional.

Brilliant location, unfortunately Saturday night can get extremely loud with the on site restaurant playing live music until 12am, we never had handwash in the bathroom for the 4 days we were there but towels were replaced and the bins emptied, the bathroom did smell a bit and the shower head sat at a funny angle so you had to go flat against the wall to get a shower, it would have been nice to have 4 seats in the outside area but all in all the room was big, the selling point of this hotel is definitely location, staff were friendly

Room was not ready at check-in time 3pm. I was forced to wait till 6.20pm and it still was not ready. Receptionist was rude and unhelpful. I asked for refund, she refused. I came from 19 hours flight and needed my room to rest. At 7pm room still was not ready. I left and went to a different hotel. This hotel amenities were dirty all around. Terrible.

The property is well situated close to the main Bonn central station and also close to tram stops. The place was mainly clean just a few minor concerns in the bathroom with the shower curtains. The main issue was the lack of air conditioning in the room, but the staff was very accommodating and provided me with extra fans. The breakfast was more than I expected, provided both warm food and cold cuts with variety.

The room overlooks a rear court, from which people could look directly into our room. It was very quiet from street noise, but very noisy otherwise: one evening in a restaurant on the court a raucous crowd stayed until 1:30AM; setting-up for breakfast and early breakfast patrons sounded loudly into our room.
On check-out day we had to leave early; a takeaway breakfast was promised, but not ready for us at the stated time; we had to wait 10 minutes for it.
The wireless key fob to the room was difficult to use.

I booked a queen room but was given a single. I was also charged twice for the stay and it was a hassle to get a refund. No compensation or apology was offered for the room being the wrong type. The room was noisy.

Charmerende sted med personlighed, centralt i Bonn. Værelset ser på billedet lidt mere luksuriøst ud end det i virkeligheden er, men udover det så var værelset hyggeligt, rent og pænt indrettet. Lækkert badeværelse og god seng. Morgenmaden var god og tilfredsstillende men samtidig ikke den helt store kulinariske oplevelse. Vi mødte ikke en eneste ansat, bortset fra rengøringspersonalet og servitricen i restauranten hvor vi fik morgenmaden serveret.

Das Hotel entsprach leider nicht den Online-Fotos. Das Zimmer wirkte insgesamt ungepflegt und sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Es war schmutzig, die Jalousien waren stark verstaubt und teilweise fast kaputt. Auch der Vorhang war beschädigt und hing stellenweise von der Decke, da er nicht mehr richtig befestigt war. Die gesamte Ausstattung ist sehr alt und macht keinen guten Eindruck. Für mich war der Zustand so unangenehm, dass ich noch am selben Tag in ein anderes Hotel gewechselt bin. Ich kann dieses Hotel daher nicht empfehlen.

Das Hotel liegt extrem günstig, man erreicht es problemlos zu Fuß vom Bhf., und man erreicht vom Hotel das Stadtzentrum, das Münster, z. B., in fünf Minuten.
Für diejenigen, die empfindliche Ohren haben, können die Zimmer zur Thomas Mann Straße manchmal laut sein, vor allem wenn sie früher schlafen gehen, wegen Straßenbahnverkehr.

Morgens aus dem Flur heraus so laut, dass ich irgendwann gegen 8 Uhr richtig wach war, auch die bereitgelegten Ohrenstopfen halten nicht weil sie über Nacht raus geruscht waren – der Kernzweck (Übernachtung) wurde nicht zufriedenstellend erfüllt. Zimmer zum Hof, von draußen ruhig. Vorhang-Stoff verdunkelt zuverlässig, war nur ein Ticken zu kurz – störte mich nicht sonderlich, ich war ja eh wach. Flur, Zimmer und Bad originell eingerichtet, die Schränke elegant und praktisch, das Bad für meinen Geschmack arg düster und die Armaturen elegant aber unpraktisch. Personal an der Rezeption freundlich & fähig.

Beim Einchecken, die junge Dame war sehr freundlich und hat uns sogar den Weg zum gezeigt, weil wir die Treppen bzw den Weg nicht fanden. Auch auf die Nachfrage hin, das wir noch Bettzeug bräuchten, war dies kein Problem und bekamen dieses auch. Sie hat sich entschuldigt und konnte es nicht verstehen, dass wir kein zweites hatten. Fand dies aber nicht schlimm, kann passieren.
Zimmer war in Ordnung, da wir \"dorfkinder\" sind, musste ich mich erstmal an den Lärm der Stadt gewöhnen, aber kein Problem, mein Sohn, der Läufer konnte schlafen, ich habe mir ein Hörspiel angemacht und alles war gut. Das einzig Laute, was dann störend war, waren die Zimmermachbarn, welche erst um ca 1 Uhr in der Nacht in ihr Zimmer kamen und einen Aufstand hinlegten, wegen fehlender Bettwäsche, mitten in der Nacht, wo man sich ja Nachmittags schon hätte drum kümmern können, wie wir. Mein Sohn schlief, dann dachte ich, ok, mach keinen Aufstand.
Frühstück war super, alles vorhanden, Personal auch hier sehr freundlich und fragte auch nach ob alles in Ordnung ist.
