Great Courtesy of employees, good maid service, modern clean facilities, thermostat in room hard to work or not at all during non summery months. Heating useless does not work in winter we reccomend to request extra blan. Other than that great hotel!!

The staff was great. They were friendly and helpful. The interior needs to be refurbished on the 6th floor. Wallpaper is separating from the wall and one electrical outlet between the beds doesn't work nor does the desk lamp.

Was very clean however since I had filtered my search with " breakfast included" I thought breakfast is free but I chargrd for the breakfast. So if you want to use the breakfast be aware.
Also one night I called and asked for the utensils and I never received it.
On the other hand I asked for the mini fridge, the next day they provided for me.
I wish they had a swimming pool tho.

You can hear everything specially on the rooms with connecting doors! My neighbours had loud music all night.
I called the reception several times and still nothing done . The noise was at 5:30am 2:30am and 6:30am its was no sleep!

Staff wasn’t very accomodating at check in (got charged 2 deposits which they weren’t aware of and had to chase them request for a room change which was denied), shower had very low force, was getting charged for an extra bottle of water and breakfast trays were left with empty scraps by 9:30. Overall it was disappointing and poorly managed.

Great hotel overall happy with my stay

Everything was great about the hotel, most of the employees were exceptional. Cleaning people were amazing. Parking attendant and front door people all great. A few of the front desk were not the friendliest, but overall it was a nice stay. Hotel is very accessible for handicap. Hotel food was not good room service and the restaurant, we tried both. I would not recommend the food.

Did not go as it was wrong location I called and spoke to someone to confirm it was at Mexico City airport and it was 45 minutes away. I was arriving at 1am and needed to fly out at 6am. The next day so a 45 minute commute each way was out of the question so wasted money

Check-in was a challenge. The hotel could not confirm that I had reserved two rooms, despite me providing the confirmation number. I had to give two phone calls to Hotels.com and only after a while did everything get resolved. Additionally the hotel could not confirm that I had prepaid for breakfast. The whole check-in process took about a hour or so.

NIGHTMARE

The hotel is outdated and horrible in a very bad location and in some BAD neighbourhood. The room was facing INSIDE an internal courtyard that was not open to outside. It felt like I was in some nightmare and actually couldn't sleep at night. There was a weird smell in the room (cleaning products + stuffiness) and it was a dim room. For the $200 price it was at most $70 model type accommodation - there are better motels in USA or Canada than this Marriott. There are a few other hotels in the city where I wanted to stay but unfortunately they were all booked at the last minute... - other hotels at much better price, close to the centre, in a good SAFE neighbourhood and beautiful, with pools etc. This was a nightmare. The only good thing about it was the staff who were very nice and accommodating and there was a valet service. At first when checking in late in the day around 7pm we were being told there are 2 beds not one and I clearly booked 1 King. Oh, the food couldn't be more expensive I think I paid like $20 for a mediocre stale sandwich!!! Outragous. Unfortunately, I booked the nonrefundable stay and couldn't get money back (I will try anyways) but I was ready to move to a different hotel except we were so tired and disappointed we just gave up since all the other nice hotels (Camino Real Polanco or NH Collection) were booked.

They over charge me on breakfast did not like at all, the give me a bill for 125 Mexican pesos soon after find out what room I was and from where I travel jacking up the pice of my breakfast which it was "SCRAMBLE EGS ONE PANCAKE AND A CUP OF COFFEE". To 295 Mexican pesos. I ask why the raise my price, and told me that they make a mistake, and raise more then double the price.
Personally I won't never go back to that COURT YARD MARRIOTT IN MEXICO CITY.

Lack of attention to details

I don't usually take the time to comment about my travels, but I was GREATLY DISAPPOINTED with this hotel. The people where friendly, and the place was clean, but there was a lack of attention to detail concerning their guests. For example, after I arrived and was in the room working another guest walked in on me. The staff had given them a room key with access to my room. The next day I reserved a taxi for the next morning, and when I went down stairs to get my ride, someone had made a mistake and monies for the taxi was allocated to another room. There where other things that happened as well...hard to believe, but everyday it was something new. Again, the people where friendly enough, and ultimate all was resolved, but it's not living up to the standards that I would have expected from a Marriott property.

Great Hotel!!

Great Hotel the staff is really helpful and kind the Hotel is really Nice looking big rooms with really soft towels a lot of them not just two. The room was very quiet even that I was in front of the main street not noise at all. Internet is fast like hell really love that. They have a router per floor I was on the 3rd floor but in the lobby is really fast to. For the price that I get is a most get. Keep up with the good work and nice promotions :-)

Well known hotel, transportation from the airport was easy and fast. Moving to tourist places and along the city was very easy, fast and cheap. The hotel provides services: restaurant, gym, bar, parking. The rooms were always clean and neat.

The room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately there was a small problem with our shower head / the water pressure but as we only stayed for one night it did not bother us much. The neighborhood looks a bit dodgy but there is a mall about 5 minutes away which was very helpful. It is also close to bus station observatorio.

I picked up this hotel because of the location, it was close to the place I will attend... The hotel looks nice from outside, despite being in a crowded avenue, it is quiet... However, the rooms were not in the best condition for a hotel in this category, there was a not nice smell, I think it was the carpet, which waa pretty old... I found some garbage in the bathroom, certainly small details that make the difference... I had lunch in the hotel, it was good, but portions are small and it is expensive!!... It is not a hotel for walkings, too much non-friendly traffic and for a non native DF person, might be risky...

Hotel is located in center geographically, but in reality there is not good place to walk and restaurant in neighborhood. You should take taxi (taxi from hotel give bill, but cost in 2-3 time than normal city taxi). Hotel has not own restaurant, only bar. Breakfast were included only continental - nothing special- fruits, cereals. The eggs - were cooked very well, but you should pay extra for this.

Not sure if I will come back

I came back to this hotel after a very nice stay 3 month prior. This time everything was the same, nice people, nice rooms, good price, UNTIL!! 1st problem, my room was left open for God knows how long. I left my room at 830am and did not come back until 630pm, I found the room door wide open. Called receptionist and first person I spoke with attempted to tell me everything was okay, that the made had forgotten to close the door, I asked to have a supervisor to call me back. That did't happen so I called back about 20 minutes later, knowing all my personal stuff was untouched, but, I wanted to make sure it didn't happened again. Well, supervisor came and check the door to see who had enter the room last and it was supposedly the made. So, they apologized and left. Well, little that I knew that the next day the made left some cleaner bottle on top of the desk, so I did not bother to say anything else. 2nd problem, if you order anything from outside they charge you almost the cost of their own food just to allow you to enter any food from an outside source. I am not sure if I will come back to this hotel. I will think about it very hard.
