Our stay at TRYP was good. We booked the family room with bunk beds. Our first impression was that it was quite small, but we were okay with it since we weren’t planning to spend much time in the room due to all the activities we had scheduled. We are a family of four, and our kids are 8 and 10 years old. The bathroom was way too small for us.
The restaurant is on the 9th floor and has a great view; however, it is also very small. The breakfast was good but a bit pricey. All in all, if you are not planning to spend much time in the room, it’s manageable. The hotel is located in the Nápoles neighborhood.

The room was very clean at check-in. A nice touch was the floor lamp that casts warm, orange-ish light, which was gentle on the eyes in the evenings. I like that the 9th-floor gym was equipped with a working air con and water cooler. The staff, including the bellhops, were courteous. This stay was a very good value for the price.

Clean room and great location. Front desk staff could have systems in place to better assist guests who only speak English. There were many interactions where the front desk was unable to communicate with me. Did not even give me information on where and when to go for breakfast during check-in

Hotel in clean safe area with good-sized rooms
Resposive staff. Pleasantly surprised with the quality and variety of breakfast. 10mins walk to Chilapancingo metro and even fewer to the buses. Lots of food options around but do not go to the Twin Peaks!! They're rogues. Will stay again

Good price, service and location

Conveniently located, super friendly staff and the doors are locked at night with doorman service 24/7. Guests can only access their floor in the elevator so I felt pretty safe. It is just steps away from the subway station which made super easy to get around.

Hotel needs to reconsider using earthquake alarm

This hotel was clean and well located. The hotel needs to seriously rethink their policies regarding earthquake alarm; the city earthquake alarm went on but the hotel didn't have a corresponding alarm, thankfully we vaguely heard the city alarm and through the window saw people in the streets vacating adjacent buildings so we vacated, but the hotel never informed the guests (of course all the hotel personnel vacated). They argued their policy is not sound the alarm unless is a big quake, what type of thinking is that? The earthquake was 5.5. In Mexico City, earthquake alarm is a critical thing. On a separate topic, the elevator had problems and got stuck, had to be constantly reset, leaving guests awaiting for a long time, they claimed they called maintenance but they would arrive until Monday, so the entire weekend was an elevator gamble. Seems like this hotel is trying to save money on maintenance.

Hotel was a Wyndham in name only. the guy who took the photos deserves a medal, place is 1/2 the size of how the photos look. Location was good, staff were curt and not overly helpful. Wifi was very weak across the entire hotel. Gym was hot, tiny with no ventilation. TV quality and channels was of no value.

Suprisingly great stay!

Location is great, close to many important avenues and site-seeing places. The comfort of the room was second to none and clean. They include a continental breakfast with a great variety of choices.
There is little noise in the rooms but it's part of being in a cosmopolitan city as big as CDMX.

The property is centrally located near the WTC and it’s kept immaculate. The staff is overly friendly and definitely the highlight of the hotel - from the desk staff to valet service, everyone is top notch. However, while the hotel counts with A/C, it doesn’t have heating. The room was cold! And I was freezing at night. After the first night I inquired at the front desk and I was given a couple of extra blankets. That wasn’t enough and I asked the following morning if they had a room with heating, but I was told there were no alternatives. Come to find out at check-out, they have portable heaters available. Well, after spending 6 nights freezing in there, there’s an obvious disappointment. The towels provided are old, rough and worn out. Besides those two issues - providing you don’t care for either - the hotel is perfect for a quick stay.

Decidedly average on all fronts. The porter was asleep when I arrived. The noise from the strip club next door meant I needed to move rooms. Breakfast was nice with a good selection. I don’t really recommend the area.

Great hotel at CDMX

We stayed for one night in this hotel, for a 22 hour layover and I wanted an hotel not so far from the airport, but also closer to the main attractions of the city. I always have stayed in Santa Fe and Polanco, so this was my first time at WTC. This hotel exceeded my expectations! All the staff was wonderful.. The room was in very good condition, VERY clean, wifi and AC worked well, breakfast was excellent, great view in the 9th floor were breakfast its served. I recommend this hotel even for larger stays.

I liked the location. It was walking distance to where I needed to be every day. The bell boy was fantastic. So helpful and nice.
I didn´t like check out. The lady at the front desk didn´t seem to know what she was doing.
Loud neighbors the last day - made for a rough night.

Honestly, I probably won't stay here again.

The building itself appears to be older, which I can understand but does affect the guest experience. There is only one small, slow elevator for the entire hotel, so plan to spend a fair amount of time waiting. Additionally, the bell on the elevator is loud, so if your room is near the elevator (as most are) you will here the sound every time the car stops at your floor.

Rooms are on the small side, and are not laid out particularly effectively. The bathrooms are small and awkward- and my bathroom was not clean at arrival. Soap remained in the shower from previous guest.

Things that could be fixed that make this a less than ideal place to stay - first, the bed that was in my room was just uncomfortable. It is one of the hardest, least comfortable mattresses I've had outside of a Motel 6, and the bedding does not feel high quality - it traps in heat, which makes sleeping even more challenging.

The thermostat in my room had the lowest possible setting at 18C, which would be fine if it could keep the room at that temperature, but despite running all night long, my room was always uncomfortably hot. As soon as you leave the room, the A/C turns off, so when you get back, it has to work to start to cool all over again. In my three-night stay, the room only ever got down to a comfortable sleeping temperature by 6:00 in the morning, at which time I needed to be up.

It was very nice and clean but when I went to order room service which included wine and a salad they said I had to come up to restaurant to pick up wine but they could room service the salad which was an additional cost . I indicated I would just pick up all of it and avoid the charge . Had to go through a whole thing to have them arrange . Then when I went to pick up they charged me and it took me 25 minutes of my time in the evening when tired to get them to take it off . Rooms are close to each other and I was on a floor where to groups were arguing and slamming doors . Other than that very new very clean and great checkin

IT WAS PRETTY MUCH CENTRALLY LOCATED. ONLY ISSUE WE HAD WAS THAT IT WAS PROMOTED AS A FAMILY SUITE. WE ARE A FAMILY OF 5 AND ONLY HAD ENOUGH ROOM FOR 4 PEOPLE. TRUE THERE WERE TWIN BUNK BEDS, BUT OUR 6 YEAR OLD SON HAD TO SLEEP WITH US IN THE QUEEN BED BECAUSE THERE WAS NO SOFA BED OR ANYWHERE FOR HIM TO SLEEP. NOT WHAT I PAID FOR. ALSO THE BREAKFAST THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE INCLUDED AND FREE WAS ONLY FOR 3 PEOPLE. WHY? THERE WERE 5 PEOPLE ON THE RESERVATIONS. MY HUSBAND WAS CHARGED FOR A FULL PRICE BUFFET WHEN ALL HE HAD WAS COFFEE! RIDICULOUS.

This is funny: we asked our server during breakfast that instead of ordering the complementary buffet order 1 item a la carte, and they say NO!!. Interesting.., trust me 2 eggs free style are cheaper than the whole buffet, please take a look at your restaurant, this is wrong.. and when we mentioned the situation at the front desk, they just said..ok we will talk with the people at the restaurant, instead of removing that silly charge and make the guest happy...

Close proximity to Metro station and buses. Safe, walking distance to Colonia La Condesa where there are a variety of restaurants and local bars. Very helpful and efficient desk staff who went above and beyond in providing information and advice. Breakfast offered a variety of choices and serving staff was very courteous. The rooms have everything you need for a short stay. We stayed twice during our visit.

Family suite is nothing but one room with a queen bed right next to bunk beds. It is so tight we kept hitting the bunk beds every time we walked by. Bunk beds don’t have a rail and the ladder is very frail.
Also, we reversed the “family room” but the complimentary breakfast is only for adults. We had to pay for our 2 children’s breakfast. This is a great place for a single person or a couple but not for a family. it is very very small and not kid friendly.

A bit out of the way in the Hyppodrone District is a hidden away hotel with strong intentions. The room was modestly spacious with a collection of furnishing which accent jointly modern and current mid-range taste. Nothing ponderous, but light and playful interplay between recognized modern period icons. Chrome fixtures, stylish plastic seating chair, tuck and roll naga-hyde ottoman, post mounted platform bed, back-lighted frame and head board, pinpoint halogen flexible arm bed lights. painted wood and laminate desk- 2 laminates; light oak, dark walnut, and painted face edges, legged bedside stands with drawers, and a medium height 3-wooden legged floor lamp with a near globular translucent shade made up of fitted quarried marble tiles. the floor was \"carpeted\" with a heavy woven cloth-rug which would normally have been a wall covering, a switch from a rug hung as a tapestry. Coffee-maker, 'fridge.Very interesting, playful, modern, original, but not overwhelming or heavy-handed. Bath had a shower with mitered glass doors not quite squarely meeting on the outside corner. Flat square chrome fixtures/controls worked great and easily adjusted. Ceramic bowl vanity set into medium gray granite surface, good towels- not luxury fiber length. Hair dryer, 4 shampoos/washes available on a simulated wood tray, real glass (2) tumblers, and double light switch, with-w/o fan. Interesting room elevator card use ; \"1\" floor is not \"G\" floor, spent frustrating moments unable to go down.

Hotel is Ok. European style, small and tight. Staff was very helpful. The Restaurant sucks. McDonald's is 10x better. Hotel sits off main Blvd and not close enough to restaurants (about 3-5 blockd). Taxis have to go around a long way in order to pull up to the front.
I will not be staying here again. Rate it max 2 stars. But more like a 1 star.

With just 1 elevator which was broken on arrival, we were lucky to be given rooms on the first floor. The repair was done during the night, but there was noise as technicians went up and down the stairs. Unfortunate but it happens. Otherwise, good value for money and a good location for what I had to do. The immediate area around the hotel is about as safe as you can hope for in Mexico City for walking around.

Excellent service. Nice location in a safe, clean, neighborhood. Close to metrobus. Walking distance to Roma and Condesa. Ask for a floor higher up or on the other side to avoid street noise from the Viaducto below. I'm a light sleeper and I slept comfortably.
