Small compact hotel in an ideal area, easy walkability to excellent restaurants and shops. The hotel rooms are very small and simple. It was okay but our TV didn’t work and the amenities were limited, also the pool was closed when we were there and that was a big disappointment as we were not notified. I would not stay here again.

I booked a week through Expedia and got a really good rate, I was therefore really happy with this property. This is what's good. Daily housekeeping and snacks refreshed. Nice to come home to after a busy day of meetings. Friendly housekeeping, cafe and reception staff. Very warm. There's an awesome hawker center just across the road - delicious food, super cheap. Also great Vietnamese on Bussorah and cheap massages for evening relaxation. Kampong Glam is super interesting area with the Mosque and Haji Lane. And its only 10mins in a taxi or bus to the centre of town which is much more expensive to stay. Laundry next to the pool on the rooftop is super convenient. Room was good, dark and quiet. Didn't hear a sound. No smells in the room. Good view from Level 15. Can't ask for more. Cafe on-site if needed. Small gym if needed too. Close to lovely marina walks if you need fresh air. Highly recommend. Good value if you can get a deal.

Very basic hotel in need of refurbishment. Strong musty smell in corridors and in some rooms either problem with aircon or there had been some sort of water leak as some of corridors had dehummidifiers
In them. First two rooms we were offered both had strong musty smell. Luckily 3rd room didn’t because by this time we were at point of leaving, staff seemed disinterested, no apology or explanation for offering rooms that were uninhabitable due to smell. Roof top pool closed due to maintenance. Overall stay depressing, luckily only one night stay due to flight delay. I would not recommend this hotel.

Ok so plain and simple. It's ok. You pay for what you get here but I'll go to straight to the point. It's located in an OK location from the attractions. (Marina Bay Sands, Gardens by the Bay, F1 track) About 20 mins.

The rooms are small. Stayed for 2 nights. Other thank that nothing crazy.

The hotel lobby is average as typical 3 star hotel but the room is not up to standard. The shower water was no more than lukewarm that made the shower quite uncomfortable. I actually got a cold because of the cold water. Then there was no kleenex in the box. No more 10-15 sheets left in the box when we first checked in. Lastly, there was only 1 hook in the bath room for a room to accommodate 3 guests. No place to put clothes or wet towels. And, only 2 glasses in the bath room versus 3 glasses.

Breakfast was delicious with a mix of Asian and Western. Every day had something different.
Room was clean and practical. Appreciated the coffee machine.
Good old fashioned hospitality with snacks and supplies refreshed every day.
Close to Public Transport.
Only negative was cost to use laundry facilities.
Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Location was good for Arab quarter, Little India, Bugis, Haji Lane and transport.
Rooms badly in need of refurbishment. Carpet was disgusting with yucky stains every where. Couldn't walk on it without slippers. No luggage rack or soap for the shower. Rooms not completely soundproof as we heard quite a bit of banging at times.

Dirty room bed sheets, no hot water, therefore couldn’t take a shower before heading to the airport. Very old towels, one of them with a huge hole. Misleading description because room has not an espresso machine.
To make things even more ridiculous, arrived late at the airport because gate was malfunctioning and the taxi could not exit.
The hotel layout looks like a rental storage.
Brought all the above to the attention of the concierge at check-out. Best answer, “you should have told us before” STAY AWAY of this “4 stars hotel” it is at best a 1 start

A nice hotel in the Chinese and India districts. Some things are walkable, but taking Grab to most places was easy. Also not far from an MRT station which connects to all the major lines.
Rooftop pool is amazing with some of the best free views of the city.
Food selection varies in the area, so we tried several different places. Hawker center near by was not that impressive.
Staff is wonderful. Yes, rooms may be a little on the small size, but for 2 people it was perfect.
No complaints during our stay. Would stay again!

Good value for money and an excellent location. This is a no frills place, but has everything you need and is in a great spot. 5 minute walk to Nicolls Hwy MRT station, so very easy to get around. The taxi from the airport only took 20 mins as well. Really quiet as well: it is on a main road but no street noise. Would recommend!

Everything outside the hotel were within walking distance especially the restaurants. The rooms were a little bit dirty with marks on the walls and bathroom sink. There were loose hair in the bathroom. Some of the staff at the cafe has poor hygiene. One staff sneezed and didn't wash his hands at the cafe

Had confusion with primal booking when I tried to change to 3 person to add my son. Day of departure I got confirmation of change but had already reserved another room for son as I couldn’t travel without a bed for him.

All worked out in the end but could have been easier.

Hotel Traveltine’s location is its biggest strength—being right next to Masjid Sultan was a major plus and made it easy to explore the area.

Unfortunately, the room itself was a serious letdown. It was dirty and had a strong, unpleasant smell. I had to spray my own perfume just to make it bearable. On top of that, the room didn’t even include a basic amenity like an iron. You have to call down to request one, and they expect you to return it immediately after use, which is inconvenient and frustrating.

For the price and location, I expected much better in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and service. Until these issues are addressed, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

It says 4 star hotel but I would say it is more of a 3 star. No netflix channel. A little bit dirty is some places. It is very near to Haji Lane ad opposite has a Hawker Centre. Accessible everywhere. Laundromat is a plus! Pool is very nice and staff are amazing!

Booked at last minute. Check in was fine, room small for the price and had a permanent smell of damp. Room was quiet and we enjoyed the roof top pool. Cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. Check in staff were only two people for a very busy hotel. Coffee was close to SGD10 at the hotel restaurant which is double the going rate. Would not stay there again.

Typically, if I have a late arrival to a hotel, I write ahead to confirm that my room will be held. Well, no one responded the first time or the second time. Finally after three tries, I received a confirmation, and without any apology for the delayed response. When I did arrive, another person tried to cut in front of me at the front desk to check in. After settling down into my room, I noticed that there was no hot water for the shower and no heat coming from the thermostat. I reported the thermostat twice but had a cold room each night for five nights. While it was warm and humid outdoors, the room was quite cold at night, making it a bit uncomfortable. As for the shower, I never had any hot water the entire stay. Most of the staff I met did not fit my standard of what I would call a four star hotel. Will probably not recommend this hotel.

Awful check in, a receptionist who barely spoke any English, she was unable to provide any advice or support. The reception had tons of brochures and materials for tourists-all in Mandarin. At check out, the same receptionist assured me through gesturing that I don't need to order a taxi for the airport, and pointed to the downstairs lobby where supposedly taxis were waiting. There was non waiting, and I needed to go back, find a person who speaks English and get the taxi order in. Very chaotic service at reception at all times, strongly discourage any and all English speaking tourists to book here. I won't ever again.

We stayed here as it was as close to the F1 track as we could book. The hotel is supposed to be 4 stars and the lobby and main areas seem nice enough but the rooms are not at all nice. The bathroom is extremely mouldy and smells like old urine. I’d never stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Staff were very friendly. It's near Nicoll highway metro stop (10 min walk) on the yellow circle line, or Lavender on the green east/west line. I'd recommend arriving from Nicoll highway station if you have luggage as it's an easier walk and mostly covered if it's raining. Hotel has a good restaurant. It's also across from a small hawker center (street food) and a small 7/11. There is a rooftop pool with good city views. If you've ever stayed in a Premier Inn in the UK it feels very similar. Although a nice modern Premier Inn. Bed is a bit hard but that seems to be common in Asia. A/C is great. Bottled water is provided each day in the fridge in the room.
