Sewage smell throughout the property for our entire stay, we were told we would be transferred to another villa- this was a lie and the smell was never fixed despite the receptionist reassuring us it would be after experiencing the smell himself.
A/C in 2 out of the 3 bedrooms was non-functional for the whole stay. Forcing us to sleep with windows open attracting mosquito bites, only on the penultimate day did were portable AC units into the rooms, which sounded like an engine running in the room. We would obviously not have picked this hotel had we known there was no A/C.
Dirty towels were part of their \"amenities\".
We made the property manager aware of these issues multiple times and requested compensation, who kept telling us to \"take it up with Expedia\".
The minimum compensation I was expecting was what I paid for the booking, as we did not have A/C (as advertised), clean towels (as advertised)- but was instead met with false promises of maintenance/cleaning/relocation and a smell so bad it left us with nausea.
On returning back home, I filed the complaint to Expedia who said they can't do anything as the booking was non refundable and the property manager wouldn't waive the cancellation fee. Of course, I asked Expedia to push as this was not acceptable. They replied saying Hotel Aucanada would only refund less than half of the cost of the stay and implied I should be grateful \"they did not charge a penalty\", and that's their final stance.

A good basic resort. Not too fancy so perfect for our kids to run around and feel comfortable. The staff are very friendly, the pools are great. Lovely that everyone gets personal space both indoors and outdoors.
But one thing that really bothered me is the 15 euro per day charge for parking. They do not tell you this will be an additional charge when you book. It's a hidden cost. If they want to charge more they need to be upfront about the parking fee at the time of booking. Also it's disrespectful to their neighbours; the local street is filled with rental cars even though each apartment comes with it's own parking spot, that sits empty. I do not appreciate how they treat their neighbours and for that reason, we are only likely to return if this policy changes.

The room was fine, property great. I did not appreciate a staff member that serviced our room leaving a cigarette butt on the counter. We paid for the breakfast package. The hot food was rarely hot, mostly just barely warm. No one wants luke warm eggs, hashbrowns, etc. If the items had been hot, the breakfast would be good.

For us, being away from the resort areas of Port Alcudia / Alcudia was a priority. We loved our evenings sat on our balcony with a sea view and cocktails and the peace that comes from being away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping areas.
The cook needs to learn that some English people do speak Spanish, so when makes up her own version of cocktails and comments to her colleagues that the we don't know any different is not as funny as she thinks. Her generosity with the free pouring of booze makes up for her rudeness... Kinda. Breakfast is good value for money, but don't expect hot fried eggs, or a full cup of anything to drink.
The apartment was clean, tidy and well equipped, even if it took us 4 days to find the kettle. turns out it's worth forcing that one cupboard door that doesn't open.
Shower was great, although I'd say the hose and head are ready for an upgrade in apt 105.
Overall great value for money and we intend to return, but will be upgrading to a villa for the late evening sun that the apartments don't get.

We stayed in a 3 bed house which was clean, well maintained and had 3 lovely terraces including one with seaviews.

We had the 1/2 board option and were disappointed with both the quality and variety of food on offer, particularly at the evening buffet. The dining room was poorly organised and chaotic which didn't make for a pleasant dining experience.

Swimming pool area was very pleasant with both shaded and sunny spots and with lovely sea views. Lifeguard was on site but not attentive at all.

We highly recommend the accommodation but would avoid using the restaurant. We would recommend Alcanada35 for food instead.

First and foremost you could not fault any of the staff at this property, all were so friendly and obliging, you were always greeted with a smile and a genuine \"hola\".

You will definitely need a car if staying here if you want to see more of the island. Taxis are available and reception are happy to order one for you. It is extremely hilly and your legs will know abou it. The port is about a 15 min walk away and is full of bars, restaurants, shops and a lovely beach.

The apartment we stayed in, although a little bit tired is extremely spacious and has all you need in it (including a washing machine) and the view was lovely.

Breakfast is buffet style and caters more on the continental style. They do offer a cooked but not your usual eggs and bacon you're probably used to but its not that bad. You can help yourself to as much or little as you want.

There is a lovely restaurant called Alcanada 35 a couple of minutes walk away. The food and staff is fab.

Would I stay here again \"Yes\"

Positive points: property comfortable and clean. Negative points: area isolated,noting to do around( not even shops!), pool freezing, not hot tube or sauna as advertised. Children very disappointed and bored. Extra money(unplanned) needed for rent a car and additional stress by driving in opposite side of the road, otherwise it would be madness. Don't think will return there,Happy to return home.

Stunning accommodation, lovely pools

We had a wonderful stay at this resort.

For some reason we were upgraded to a three bedroom house and it was absolutely perfect for our family with two small children. The air conditioning was very effective and the house very clean and comfortable. The pools were beautiful and Warmed up very nicely in the afternoon (They were a little cold in the morning). There was an Elvis tribute act playing poolside one afternoon and this was absolutely brilliant.

The location is a bit problematic and taxis are flaky so I would recommend hiring a car particularly for buying groceries.

It’s best to treat this as a self catering holiday as the restaurant opening hours can be a bit hit and miss with them only serving food for breakfast between 8:30 and 10:30 and dinner between 7-9. This is not so convenient for children. Overall though this was a lovely stay and self catering accommodation within resorts is hard to find so I do recommend this.

The staff were really helpful and the food was good. The apartments were clean and adequately furnished with well equipped kitchens. The only criticism would be that the pool area wasn't cleaned during our week long stay and spilt drinks remained sticky on the floor. Parking was a challenge as you had to negotiate trees at the back of the apartments we stayed in.

Didn’t end up staying...

I booked this place at 1400hrs, just before boarding a ferry from Barcelona to Palma so had no signal until I arrived in Palma at 2000hrs. We arrived at the hotel at 2100hrs but it was all closed up. I called the number and there was no answer so spent the next hour trying to figure out somewhere else to stay.
I’ve stayed here previously and it’s quite nice but please please call them before you arrive so you can figure out the key collection.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Ona Aucanada Club, on arrival the reception staff where warm and welcoming and very friendly,
Our apartment was superb, exceptionally clean, spacious and bright, excellent fitted modern kitchen all appliances sparking, loved the fact we had a washing machine!
Bedrooms were good size with clean fresh bed linen
Large living room/dining room, and a good size balcony to sit on in the evening
3 great fun pools and a jacuzzis the whole area kept to a really high standard
Only complaint was the restaurant which was handy however very slow service, kitchen staff squabbling with serving staff very loudly making us feel uncomfortable
This could be sorted, will definitely go back

You definitely need a car to stay here or otherwise be happy to get taxis and as long as you are aware of that it's a wonderful place to stay. Lovely accommodation with fabulous views from every angle. Comfy beds and a decent travel cot with proper mattress. Lovely big outside terrace on ground floor apartments. 3 lovely pools including a great kids pool, never busy and always beds available. Decent restaurant if you want to eat on site. We went to Alcudia port must evenings which is fabulous for children but also Visited the old town and Pollensa port. Be warned that parking in Alcudia on an eve can be tricky. We had issues getting our apartment cleaned the first few days but this was resolved.

Lovely little place

This was one of the nicest apartments we have stayed in as a family. Two good sized rooms and lovely living space and plenty of room to store things and put things. The hotel staff were great and happy to help, and if you don't mind a walk this is in a nice location also. We didn't rent a car but did use taxi services- which didn't work out too expensive either. If I was going to say anything negative it would be that there is no where for children to play when not in the pool. I had two boys with me wanting to play football etc and there just isn't anywhere.

The apartment was ideal, perfect clean and tidy. With 8 of us going and not having to fight over sun loungers by the pool you cant fault it. The bar staff could have been a bit friendlier everything seemed to be a bit of a chore for them. And heart attack hill up to the hotel was enough to put you off leaving the hotel. Maybe next time hiring a car would make it alot easier to see more of the local area. Overall we were very impressed by tbe hotel and there isnt one of us who wouldnt return.

Expedia and the hotel debited our account for acco

Okay hotel. My husband and I have stayed here before a couple of years ago and as we now have a one year old, we thought it would be great to come back to where we knew. Shame the reception was closed when we arrived and we had a phone to ring the emergency number to get room keys. Then dust under the beds. Smelling toilets but they came and sorted it. I'm home now and they have debited my account for the accommodation and Expedia have too. Let's hope they reimburse soon or we wouldn't go back to either businesses.

They were nice enough to send a complimentary champaign. It is a little more up in the hills so it is better to have a rental car.

Nice hotel, but watch your stuff!

We booked this hotel to attend a party with friends who had a house by the sea in Alcanada. The hotel seemed pretty close to our friends house.

It's an apartment hotel. Each apartment has two double bedrooms and a kitchen and bathroom. Then there are several pools and a central reception and restaurant.

The apartment was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was also pretty good.

Two things that dominate the rating.
First, be aware that the hotel is at the top of the hill. Our friend's house was by the sea and although not far, the sea is 320 steps away. Not great fun in the heat.

Second, we were burgled During our visit. There was no break in, so someone had access to a key. There is a safe in the room - use that. We foolishly didn't, and it spoilt our stay.

A great surprise

On arrival were were allocated a very spacious 3 bedroom apartment with stunning views of the surrounding area. The apartment was not only enormous but very clean and with good facilities. We had three balconies and a roof space. We were on a cycling holiday and after a long day in the saddle it was fabulous to sit on one of the balconies to soak in the views.

Stayed in Aucanada Club for 5 nights while taking part in Ironman Mallorca in Alcudia. Staff were friendly, apartment upgraded on arrival and facilities adequate. Would I go back? Yes it was cheap enough and pleasant if you don't mind the 20 ~ 30 min walk into Alcudia or are prepared to just use the hotel facilities.

We enjoyed our stay at these apartments. Everything you need in the apartments, microwave, toaster, washing machine, airer. Only downside was that it was quite a long walk into town & as there were 5 of us the taxis only took 4. No supermarket nearby either. Nice quiet location, no fighting for sunbeds.

We booked a two bed room apartment and were pleasantly surprised at how clean and well equipped it was, especially for the money we paid. The apartment is in a lovely complex with beautiful landscaping, a gym, restaurant and three smallish swimming pools, which were never over crowded. The apartment is just outside the port of Alcudia in a mainly residential area and a car is really needed to get out and about. This suited us though as we hate to be in a tourist hot spot and ventured far and wide into the beautiful Majorcan countryside. Possibly the only taint on an otherwise idyllic stay is the approach to the apartments, which passes an old, rusty disused power station but this does serve as a useful landmark when trying to find the apartments. Look for the two chimneys! All the staff were friendly and helpful and we we would definitely stay again.

A great week away, lucky with weather for late October, sunny and warm all week. Accommodation superb, very pleasant low key entertainment, staff all very friendly and helpful. Children loved the swimming pools, although a little on the cold side! Good base for exploring the island, hire car was useful.

A pleasant stay, end of September so quiet and restful. Car was essential as very little in walking distance. The apartment was clean but furnishings were a little tired and in need of an up-grade although all were serviceable and quite comfortable. Towels were changed 3 times during the week but not the sheets!! Extra charge for that! The pool was clean and there were plenty of loungers available. A gym and spa were available on site although we did not try them. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were on the ground floor so had a large terrace, upstair flats only had a small balcony. Altogether a good place to have a quiet, no frills break and would book again.

Located a little far from the beach but that added to the security.
Internet service was the only negative. Slow and expensive wifi. For accommodations of this calibre the wifi should be included and high speed. A business office guest use would be welcomed.

The hotel was very clean and lovely. Its about 15 minutes walk from town, which was ok but a bit far. However, cab rides were cheap at 5 euros for four people, mainly for evenings as walking into town was fine. The hotel staff were helpful and lovely. There were 3 lovely pools, which would cleaned every night and there weren't that many people around the pools.

The coach dropped us off at the bottom of a hill as the road was too steep to get up. But once all our luggage was there it was fine, and if you are dropped off in a minibus they take you up the hill.

The only downside was their wi-fi internet, which you have to pay for, which isn't overprice but is advertised as across the entire complex...although not if you want to use it in your villa and only one person at a time can use the username and password they give you. It would have been fine if they had said all of this.

Good villas at this hotel which is a great base

We booked as a late minute May half term holiday to get some sun so hadn't done much research. When we arrived we were allocated a 3 bed villa facing the bay. Couldn't have been better for us and our 3 children aged 7 to 11. They enjoyed the pool every day although the water was still cold. We had breakfast and evening meal once and enjoyed both times. Every day we bought fresh baguettes from the same place that breakfast was served as we preferred to start the day sitting on our small sunny terrace. We had a hire car and I wouldn't have liked to have had to walk to the nearest sandy beach in alcudia with the kids and beach gear. Hotel did organise some activities but there were not many people at the hotel and not something we were interested in either. Did have a sports massage which was lovely.

Reception staff Fabricio (not sure of spelling, my apologies for that) and Maria, were particularly helpful with directions and suggestions for getting the most out of our stay and seeing the highlights of Majorca. Be warned, the island is very popular with cyclists at this time of year and driving around some of the mountain roads can be precarious enough, without a cyclist coming in the opposite direction at 80kph!
The apartment was spacious, had everything that we needed, hairdryer, iron etc, microwave, fridge/freezer, the only negative for us was the location, so far out of the main Port of Alcudia, expect to pay around 5 euros for a taxi into the port,

Needs and update but comfortable!

We enjoyed our saty at the Aucanada club, however our apartment was a little out dated and we felt that it was a lttle ill equipped in the kitchen. While we were there the aprtments at the back of us were being gutted and renewed and this made some obvious noise but it wasnt too bad. That's the only downside though, the receptionists were extremely helpful and spoke perfect English (one I heard speaking both German and French too!!) The apartment was cleaned twice a week and it was comfortable, kitchen was a little small especially when trying to sort dinner out. Location is good if you want a quiet location but a little too far to walk into Port de Alcudia everyday, then again its a nice distance if you have a car. The pools were clean and my boys enjoyed them eventhough they were cold at this time of year (October).

Great quiet hotel

We wanted a quiet, self-catering apartment and we got one. We did not want any 'entertaining' and therefore didn't go to any and were pleased not to be disturbed by any excess noise. The area around the hotel was in a residential area with a 20 minute walk to the main resort (uphill on the way back). You could walk to the sea in 5 minutes if you found the access between the houses though. The hotel advertised excursions from the hotel but as we hired a car we didn't go on any of them.
The apartment exceeded our expectations in terms of size. There was a kitchen which was fairly well equipped for self-catering (although it had microwave but no oven, no vegetable peeler but they did provide washing up liquid, cloth, sponge and even clothes washing liquid for the washing machine). The sofa in the lounge was comfy. There was a large balcony downstairs (sea views - although a little distant) off the lounge and another balcony off the double bedroom upstairs, there was also a second bedroom with a single bed (as well as a sofabed in the lounge). There was a full bathroom upstairs (very poor water pressure though) as well as a downstairs toilet.
The apartment was cleaned twice in the week and the towels changed each time but the bedding was not changed. There were air-conditioning units in each bedroom and in the lounge.

appartment was better than expected. it was clean and was well equiped (only thing missing was a kettle). adjacent appartments were still being renovated but this was not a problem. pool area was very good. supermarket was still under construction. this will be a very nice complex when it is finished.

A good base for a visit to Northern Mallorca

Stayed 3 nights at this apartment hotel to tour the area with a car. Staff was very helpful and \"upgraded\" us to a larger nonrenovated apartment since I did not like the smell of the newly painted room (had a cold). the old ones are quite nice anyway and had all we needed to make food etc. Price was very reasonable in this off season. Only small remark that security locks could be updated on first floor - but it felt like a safe area.

Clean & comfortable

Aucanada Club was a pleasant apartment for our stay. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Our receptionist managed to resolve a mix up with our airport transfers for which we were very grateful!
The pools (all 3 of them) were clean and inviting but quite cold, however, we did visit in October.
The beach and shops were about a 20 minute walk away (3km) but this wasn't too much of a concern for our group, although, those in wheelchairs or buggies would probably be advised to look for accommodation closer to the Port of Alcudia. There is bus service which takes you into the port area and Alcudia old town if you don't fancy the walk.
One word of caution - there is another hotel close by named Aucanada Apartments and Transunion (the airport transfer service) confuse the two regularly so it is possible you may get dropped off at the wrong hotel/apartment!
Overall though, a very pleasant stay and we would stay at Aucanda Club on future visits.

Die Klima bzw. Heizung sollte kontrolliert werden. Denn wenn die Nachbarn kochen - zieht es den Geruch durch die Anlage in die eigene Wohnung an.

Unzumutbar. Wir haben uns von den guten Bewertungen täuschen lassen. Musste nach 1 Nacht umziehen. Appartments sind mit Schwarzschimmel belastet. In allen Wohnräumen, Schlafzimmern und Bädern Schimmel an Decken und Wänden.

Schade um die Anlage. Völlig runtergekommen.
Frühstück keinesfalls dazubuchen. Ei, Schinken und Würstchen teils verkrustet und verfärbt. Haben das Frühstück nicht mehr genutzt nach einem Tag.

++ la localisation proche d Alicia, ideale pour les familles, le personnel très agréable et souriant

- - ATTENTION, les photos sont mensongères et le personnel le sait parfaitement. Les photos avec vue ne sont disponibles exclusivement que des villas 3 chambres (peu nombreuses) et en aucun cas des chambres doubles comme indiqué. Il s'agit d'une photo prise depuis la terrasse des villas qui sont utilisés pour faire la pub d' autres chambres. Le buffet est également de faible qualité mais c'est standard all' inclusive. Forte odeur de canalisation dans les villas. Mais celle ci sont très agréables au demeurant.

Mysigt familjehotell med möjlighet att kunna laga lite mat själva. Fantastisk service men klorhalten i poolen gjorde att barnen fick eksem. Lite långt från allt om man inte har bil men annars underbart område tryggt med jättefin personal.

Lugnt och familjärt lägenhetshotell med fint poolområde och fin utsikt över Alcudiabukten. Fin utsikt mot havet från vår balkong. God och varierad frukost och även god kvällsbuffe och vi fick god hjälp att lösa alternativ till två av oss med Celiaki.

Vraiment très calme, ideal pour se reposer.
Situé en haut d'une colline, donc voiture ou bonne condition physique nécessaire.
Petit déjeuner impeccable et diner avec buffet à taille humaine (pas de sentiment de gâchis de nourriture) et régulièrement approvisionné.
La villa était très bien équipée avec une jolie vue sur mer.

Prisvärt boende i lugnt läge för dig med tillgång till hyrbil eller som kan tänka dig att gå ned till Alcudia (ca två kilometer)

Detta var femte gången jag bodde hos Ona Aucanada Club. Som alltid trevlig personal och lugnt läge vilket jag föredrar framför stöket nere i Alcudia.

Lägenheterna börjar bli slitna och skulle må bra av en renovering. Dock väldigt rent och sköna sängar. Inget att klaga på egentligen. Rymliga lägenheter! Två sovrum och stort kök som standard på alla lägenheter! Finns tvättmaskin i alla lägenheter. Rymligt kylskåp samt frys.

Poolen är ouppvärmd. Tv i både vardagsrum och ett av sovrummen. Numera är WIFI gratis, vilket uppskattas. Tv:n i sovrummet kunde streama youtube vilket uppskattades av yngsta sonen.

Gratis Parkering på gatan bredvid hotellet, samt längst upp på gatan (större parkering). Vill du stå direkt utanför lägenheten kostar det numera pengar (vilket det inte är värt...)

Geräumiges, sauberes Apartment, große Terrasse. Hübsche Anlage, etwas abgelegen, dadurch aber schön ruhig. Auto unbedingt empfehlenswert. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Anlage. Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal.
- Beim Frühstücksbuffet war leider immer etwas leer (kein Brot, keine Milch, kein Käse etc.) Wenn dann aufgefüllt wurde, begann die morgendliche „Schlacht“ ums Buffet - das hat wirklich keinen Spaß gemacht. Nur 2 Kaffeeautomaten und zu wenig Tische für die Anzahl der Gäste machte das Ganze nicht besser. Schade!

Wir waren im Februar dort und in dem Appartement war es doch sehr kalt. Mit der Klimaanlage konnte man die Räume nicht wirklich erwärmen.
Die Lage ist super,ein Auto von Vorteil.

Große und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Mit 2 Schlafzimmern und einem großen Wohn-/Eßbereich ist ordentlich viel Platz vorhanden.
Einziges Manko: Unser Appartment hatte eine hohe Hecke vor und hinter dem Haus, so dass nur wenig Tageslicht einfällt. Aber sonst waren wir zufrieden.

Spacious apartment with comfortable beds. Beautiful view of the sea. The water pressure was terrible in the shower on the second floor. Nicely kept surroundings. Great with the washing machine! The early checkout (at 9:00) was less good. Minimum stay 2 nights but we could have stayed longer if we had time.

Huoneisto oli ihan kiva ehkä hieman kulunut jo. Suihku tila ahdas ja vesien ohjaus pielessä.
Sesonki oli ohi mutta keli lämmin niin kovin harmitti että kaikki altaat olivat poissa käytöstä.
Paikan tietojen päivitys olisi myös ajankohtaista mainittu sauna ollut jo neljä vuotta suljettu.
Matkat majoitus paikasta eivät ole pitkät, mutta tärkeä huomioida suuri korkeusero. Liikkumista varten ehdottomasti kannattaa vuokrata auto tai sähköpyörä näillä liikkuminen ja alueen nähtävyyksien näkeminen helppoa. Toki kävellenkin pärjää mutta kuntoa ja aikaa ottaa.

Leider ist diese Anlage schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das erste Appartement hatte ein undichtes Dach und das zweite Appartement war zwar dicht, aber auch hier waren die Jahre zu sehen. Essen war okay, aber kein kulinarisches Highlight. Zusammengefasst war der Aufenthalt passabel.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Die Lage auf dem Hügel ermöglicht eine großartige Aussicht auf die umliegende Bucht.
Das Hotel liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung, gleichzeitig nur 1,5km vom lebendigen Port d'Alcudia entfernt.

Das Apartment war sauber eher einfach eingerichtet aber für unseren Urlaub ausreichend.
Wir sind viel unterwegs gewesen und waren selten in der Unterkunft.
Zum Essen kann ich sagen, Frühstück Buffet sehr gut, Abendessen könnte besser sein.
