Overall, it was a good stay.
Mostly the staff were very nice and accommodating except for one and her name is Sara
When we arrived at the lobby, she looked at us like we didn't belong there as we were with sweat pants and sweaters till she realized that we'll be staying there more than a week
Furthermore, she looked slightly annoyed or uninterested when we had further enquires regarding our stay
Other than her, everyone and everything was great ;)

Spacious room , large terrace, with fabulous facilities, would love to give 10 out of 10, unfortunately the tall waiter was so rude to us , took away the salad we were still eating , one of main course didn’t put in order, he was so rude, attitude was horrendous, my daughter gelt so uncomfortable, rather not skip her the food, didn’t want to wait . When I asked for. I’ll, he literally thrown the bill on my table so hard , incredibly rude , can’t believe it

Lovely clean modern hotel, beautiful pool, very large suites with huge balconies. Amenities in the rooms are limited - just combined bath soap/shampoo, no moisturizer, vanity kit, etc and no extra towels. It’s a bit of a hike to the beach through a shared path amongst multiple condo complexes. Breakfast is very good with large buffet plus eggs to order. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The Flag hotel is excellent. It is in a great location close to the beach. The pool area is fantastic for relaxing and taking a swim. This is our forth time at The Flag, Marbella and we will be back. It is a fantastic place to stay. The staff are most helpful, the rooms and balconies are huge and the pool is wonderful. The whole ambiance is about health and wellbeing. You leave The Flag feeling rested and relaxed ready for your next adventure.
I would recommend the spa too which focuses on health with a great range of treatments, a well equipped gym and daily exercise classes.

The hotel was with perfect location, far away from city noise, really good for chilling and relaxing. The nearby beach was only 5 minutes walk throw stunning garden. The beach isn’t busy, absolutely beautiful. The hotel was very clean and smells good but with room cleaning there were days that it wasn’t clean properly like mirrors or floors. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The staff is very nice, polite and always helpful. The spa crew also very kind, amazing service. The breakfast were good with enough selection. The downfall of the hotel was poorly selection of food and pricey drinks but there are restaurants nearby so it wasn’t a problem. Overall amazing experience and would recommend to everyone.

Rooms were nice, modern and spacious with large balcony. The pool area was also nice and there is a private path to the beach. The area is quiet, you need to get a taxi/Uber/Bolt if you are going out for dinner. There is a Lidl and other supermarket 10 minute walk away. This is perfect for a couple or friends for a short break.

We had an unforgettable stay at The Flag Marbella. The hotel concept, the property, the staff, the room, the food, and the pool were all simply outstanding.

Thanks to our Expedia Gold status, we were upgraded to a huge, ultra-modern suite with a beautiful sea view and an incredibly comfortable bed. The hotel was fully booked, yet we were treated like the only guests there — the service was truly exceptional.

The breakfast was healthy, fresh, and full of variety. The food available throughout the day and night was also excellent, with great options for all tastes. Around the pool, we enjoyed amazing smoothies and juices — be sure to try “The Cleaner”!

We will definitely be back, and The Flag brand is now at the top of our list for future stays.

Fantastic hotel
Very clean, modern and relaxing atmosphere. Its vibe is more relaxation and chill than anything else. Other reviews complain about the lack of music around the pool but that's what we loved about it. It's not the place for loud music.
We didn't eat but drinks were good, albeit there could be more cocktail choice. They don't do the classics like cosmopolitan etc.
The filtered water points around the hotel are great and kitchen facilities in the rooms had everything we need.
Gym was well equipped but needed more air con on the hotter days.
Just to note, this is NOT adults only. Not a fault of the hotel as Spain has changed discrimination laws to mean children can't be denied entry. Unfortunately we found out the hard way when a crying toddler was brought to the pool.
This hotel isn't child friendly or child safe and those bringing kids despite seeing it as adults recommended are clearly doing it out of their own selfishness and disregard for those wanting an adult only experience.
Generally a very good experience at the hotel.

Lovely, clean hotel with very large rooms. One of our party was put in a room overlooking the carpark but was changed when she complained. 2 rooms were on a higher floor which was nice but I had to ask (I'd booked 10 rooms and I had VIP access). Not sure we would have got them if I hadn't asked and I'm not actually sure they were an upgrade ....
Only real criticism of the hotel was the lack of sunbeds. Admittedly we were a party of 10 but we struggled to get sunbeds and other guest were ot happy that we took so many of them.
Please get more sunbeds management! This (and only this) would stop me going back ....
On a brighter note the staff were fabulous, the drinks and food round the pool good and not expensive and overall a lovely hotel.

Fantastic stay all in all. The staff is kind and helpful in all departments. The room was spacious and clean, with a great balcony and the necessities you need to be able to make a simple meal yourself too with a small kitchenette. The pool is heated and secluded, and the spa treatments are great (highly recommend the lift facial). The hotel has its own private walkway down to the beach, it just takes a few minutes. We have already decided to come back later this year because the experience was great.

Disappointed with our Stay

I can't believe the experience we had at the bar during our stay. We went for a drink at 8:30 PM on Thursday evening, and right off the bat, the barman informed us that the staff had a party to attend and we had to be out by 9:30 PM. Can you imagine? We felt rushed from the moment we walked in! Then, just 15 minutes before we were supposed to leave, they turned off the music and started cleaning up. We still had half a bottle of wine left!

I ended up complaining to the lovely lady at the reception, who assured me that she would contact the manager and that he would follow up with us the next day. Well, guess what? We never heard a word from him. Talk about disappointing customer service!

To add insult to injury, on Friday and Saturday nights, we were told the bar closes at 10:00 PM. Seriously? For a four-star hotel during the Christmas season? This is just unacceptable. We expected so much more, and it really put a damper on our stay.

Perfect for a relaxing getaway

Absolutely amazing hotel, loved having a kitchen in the room and being able to have a half board option. Supermarket is about a 15 minute walk away and the beach is 10 minutes. Taxis were easy to get if you wanted to venture to Marbella. Staff were really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The spa is also a lovely bonus! I loved my stay here and would gladly return.

First time staying in the Flag. Quite a new hotel. Very Modern and clean. Most staff were lovely, some could do with knowing how to engage with customers. The girl serving at the pool was amazing! Such a hard worker and always making sure customers were cared for. Breakfast was to a decent standard Dinner and Lunch menus were decent as well. Pool was nice but sometimes to warm especially when it’s 35 degrees. Sun loungers were also limited. Room was amazing and spacious my only criticism would be the walls were quite thin so could hear our next door neighbours phone alarm and most their conversations 🙁
I would probably stay again if needed.

Für uns war es eine wunderbare Woche, wir können The Flag nur empfehlen. Die Einrichtung des rd. 66qm großen Deluxe Studios (Room 401) war sehr ansprechend, die Aufteilung inkl. voll ausgestatteter Küchenzeile geschickt. Die große Terrasse mit Meerblick ließ viel Licht herein, so konnten wir bereits morgens die ersten Sonnenstrahlen dort genießen.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich und kompetent.
Im Restaurant fühlten wir uns beim 1A Frühstück genauso wohl wie beim Abendessen. Der Außenbereich mit beheiztem Pool ist ansprechend gestaltet, der kurze Weg zum Meer führt über einen schönen Gartenweg.
Die Architektur des Hotels ist sehr ansprechend und durchdacht.
Zwei Punkte, der uns nicht so ganz überzeugten (aber nicht von einem neuen Aufenthalt abhalten würden!), waren
a) der (zu) kleine Eck-Spiegel im Bad war unpraktisch, und
b) die Menu Auswahl am Abend könnte umfangreicher sein.
Das Konzept, alle Gänge selbst zusammenzustellen, ist zwar sehr gut, alles wird frisch zubereitet, jedoch haben Vegetarier zu wenig Möglichkeiten (auf Nachrage wurde jedoch auch z.B. Pizza und Pasta gereicht).

We liked the hotel very much. The service level was very high and very friendly. The breakfast buffet was great pleasure and the dinner meals that we enjoyed were top notch. The room (apartment) on the 5th floor was a very pleasant surprise – spacious and great view of the sea. The fitness room was fine as well and not in any way crowded. Nice spacious garage. Fine pool and pool area. The walk path from the pool area to the beach was a wonderful experience also evenings with lights on. At the apartment kitchen we were surprised that there was no cutting board, no brush or sponge to clean tableware with, no cloth kitchen towel (we asked for one - housekeeping seemed not to understand and brought something which was no great use) – paper kitchen towels and a few extra simple glasses for water would have been great as well as a filter drip coffee machine.

Overall we are very happy to recommend the Flag. Future guests should be aware that there are no cafés or restaurants within easy walking – at least not in December. The Flag is next to A7 but we experienced no street noise in our rooms.

Apt. gg.über dem Aufzug, obwohl das Hotel von mir bereits mehrfach gebucht. Bislang prima. Jetzt fehlt die Sensibilität??? Alle Spätheimkehrer in meiner Nähe kamen direkt meiner Türe nach Hause. Sonne ab 14 Uhr. Frühstück angemessen.
Privatgespräche gehören auch bei geringer Beschäftigung nicht in unmittelbaren Gästenähe im Frühstücksraum. Cleaning Staff gut. Techn.Probleme dauerten 2 Tage und mehrfache Erinnerung bis behoben.
Komm jetzt am 22.wieder, dann schaun wir mal.

Struttura nuova, grand suite molto ampia e confortevole. Vista discreta, il mare non è vicinissimo. Il ristorante serve piatti con materie prime eccellenti e ha il personale cordiale e presente. Alcuni dettagli da migliorare: cura del Cllente da parte del front Office non è da hotel 4 stelle. Albergo molto indicato per clientela nordeuropea.
