Front desk girls were very nice but couldn't help me with any concerns and no management was ever available. The common areas were clean and looked fine. It was maze of poorly lite courtyards to get to my room. The room I received was very run down, with stains on the walls and floors, holes in the wallpaper, gaps in the floor. It had a flimsy lock on the balcony door over looking a gross seating area and chain link fenced parking lot with a view of the highway. Unfortunately I had prepaid for a week with no refunds allowed. And was not allowed to checkout early. I didn't even stay the night, because the area wasn't safe for a female traveling alone. I've never had an experience like this before. I've never needed to checkout early. But the pictures and reviews on the website did not depict what I received or experienced.

INFESTED with COCKROACHES, they are everywhere. For 150 euro a night you can enjoy cockroach show. It was a true nightmare.
Swimming pool water smells bad.
Dirty, dated rooms and incredibly rude staff. General manager is incompetent and uninterested in customer.
Location is ugly, beach is far .
Do not book here is my best advice.

The last few reviews on other sites weren’t that positive about Ona Diana, but I have to say, I was really impressed with this site. The rooms were great, staff really helpful, pool area super clean, and great food and drinks available.

Brilliant stay.

Went away with my dad to watch the football over a few days.

Twin room was lovely, very clean, spacious enough with AC, clean towels daily and beds made.

Good selection of foods for breakfast, (didn’t have the evening meals)

Supermarket right next door with an Aldi across the road and a huge selection of restaurants either side of the hotel.

Pool was also really nice and clean around the outside.

Staff were also very friendly, always helpful and brilliant.

The location might seem a little out of Puerto Banus and Marbella, however, the front desk were always helpful when booking taxis to get to where we needed t, they arrived in good time and only cost €10-€15

Would definitely recommend and would stay again if the football is located nearby once more

This is really a working person's hotel along with casual travellers. If you bear that in mind, it's fine. Friendly staff. Shops and restaurants quite close, plenty of parking, although local residents have marked some spots as theirs with makeshift signs. If you are on holiday the pool and sunbathing areas are good and uncrowded if a little noisy from the motorway. Wifi needs a bit of a boost.

It was terrible. When we arrived at our rooms it smelt so bad. It was as if someone had left a number two in the toilet. The beds were so uncomfortable. Was so uncomfortable that we had to leave 3 days early. Even sink was an issue.

Hostile and lazy receptionist., especially one older gentleman. Some of the bar and waiter were more friendly. I was locked out of my rooms as the key card failed to function (power outage of the battery), and the technical staff had to break in to the room using the balcony to open the door, a process which took 45 min or more. No management excuse or reductions in fees were offered.

This accommodation was a real delight. It’s a 3 star hotel but it feels like it could have been 4 stars. The room was modern, clean and spacious. We had dinner and breakfast and we really enjoyed the food. It was fresh and there was a large variety. We had a car, parking was easy and the hotel was easy to find.

We had to move to a new room twice because the rooms were not clean yet (bed and bathrooms). Also, the hotel allow people to smoke marihuana at night and didn't allow us to sleep because of the loud nose until late hours (2am as of now). Will not come back.

Het is een goed en net hotel voor deze prijs! Vlakbij puerto banus 10 minuten met de taxi. Alleen je betaald veel minder. Enige nadeel is dat het aan een drukke weg zit ik had er geen last van maar als je slecht slaapt is dit vervelend.

This is nestled either side of a very good selection. Of shops, bars and restaurants. It is a very short drive/taxi from Puerto Banus, you can easily get to other resorts too. We even got to Gibraltar for a day trip and it didn’t take us that long.

The breakfast was nice. A good selection available something suited to everyone’s taste I’m sure.

Price wise exceptional value for money. The rooms aren’t huge but nicely decorated with air con too. We had a room at the back of the hotel. I would imagine the ones facing the main road may be a little noisy.

The pool area was clean and well kept.

A clean, not too large hotel in a convenient spot. Plenty of restaurants and quiet bars all around and also on the main bus route for going up and down the coastal towns. Excellent coffee in the bar!
Only downside is that there were a few stag and hen groups passing through but I guess thats to be expected in this region

Modern nicely furnished room. Helpful staff at breakfast/dinner room. Lovely swimming pool though we didn’t use. Has free gated outdoor private parking, easy to use. Excellent breakfast, surprising quality and variety for a 3 *. We had a quiet room overlooking a back street. There were lots of restaurants within 100 meters walking distance and 1-2 small supermarkets.

First time...

We booked the hotel for a birthday weekend as the price was undeniably amazing. We drove there from Gibraltar so the journey is not more than 45 mins. However, it took us time to locate the hotel as the area is quire confusing and there are no signs and because the hotel is in a residential area is took us a little while to find it. Once we found it, there was loads of parking. Check in procedure was quick. Our rooms were nice, however as this is primarily a self service kind of hotel it would have been nice to have some cutlery, glasses and maybe a kettle in the room. We were on the gourd floor as we travelled with our dog. The rooms with a patio are great for them to run around.

We are 2 couples staying at the 'Oh Hotel Diana' in Estepona - A great time was had by all. We were pleasantly surprized. Our rooms were clean, tidy and looked very newly refurbished. The staff were very friendly. We had a very relaxing stay. Ideal location for shops, beach and restaurants. We hired a car and drove to 'Pepe's Beach' which was lovely. A nice restaurant and beds not a problem to hire. We drove to a friends house in Cancelarda and also visited 'Puerto Banus'.
We also recommend 'Neli G's' restaurant in 'Buenta Vista'. which is a short walk from 'Oh Diana'. Excellent food, polite and friendly staff. We will defiantly visit again.

The hotel had very few guests staying when we were there and often we were the only ones in the dining room in the evening. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room was well cleaned every day.

There are restaurants nearby (walking distance) including an excellent Indian.

The hotel was good value for money.

Refurbishment - pleasant. Room was reeking of smoke. Changed room - no lock working on door. Bed absolutely rock hard and no duvets - it was cold in the night. Bar towels far too small and wafer thin. Rhe breakfast was awful - and they won't make scrambled egg. I could go on. Even at the reasonable price - it should have been better.

An amazing adventure

It was an awesome break in sunny Spain. I went there to see Enrique Iglesias in concert in Marbella and it was unforgettable and a truly amazing experience.
The hotel was clean and the staff all spoke English and were extremely helpful and friendly. There was a restaurant and bar area for meals and refreshments, although I didn't get a chance to taste authentic Spanish food there such as tapas and paella which is what I would have liked to have done. Having said that there are restaurants walking distance from the hotel which are all reasonably priced.
The are plenty of sun loungers and an outdoor pool to cool off in.
Puerto Banus and the beach in central Estepona are a short bus ride away and it's easy to get around neighbouring towns and plenty to see and do.
I would recommend the hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Spain as its great value for money and the rooms are clean and comfortable too with a terrace which overlooks the pool area. Although a view to look out in the surrounding area would have been good.
A well designed and spacious hotel but entertainment would be good as an improvement to the hotel.

Good location for exploring the area. We used it as a base to look for a property. There are some local shops and bars. Biker bar and Lecter cafe we can recommend. You need a car if you stay here.

Great place to explore from, but need a car.

The Diana Hotel has an Estepona address but that's like saying Luton is in London. The cost of a taxi to Estepona Centre or the port there is between 18 and 25 Euros so this mounts up, public transport (bus) is cheap though. Access to the sea is difficult, across the Spanish motorway equivalent.
Having said all this the hotel itself is an oasis. It is clean and comfortable with a good sized, clean pool. It is a great place to use as a base if you want to explore the West side of the Costa del Sol.
There are a number of cheap restaurants nearby and the hotel restaurant serves reasonable fare. Breakfast is okay with a choice of hot, continental or a combo with toast and cereal, all on a buffet basis.
Staff at the hotel are responsive and polite.
My room was spotless and was clearly recently refurbished with a 'Porcelanosa' bathroom suite. It had a view over the pool with a nice balcony and was on the first floor. It is probably due to the fact that I was there during school term time that the pool was under occupied and there were plenty of sunbeds always available. This gave the place a nice quiet atmosphere.
For those interested in the TV programmes, the only English speaking Channels were News Channels but there was free wi-fi throughout the hotel and the code for this was provided at check-in.

One of the worst rooms that I have ever stayed in. Awful bed, very dated decor, old TV, noisy air conditioning unit etc, - though, in contrast, the bathroom was actually in good condition which was a relief. Arriving at the room we found the door open and had to spend the first 20 minutes swatting 7 mosquitoes. Rooms are being refurbished and though the hotel was not that busy, we still got a rubbish room. Not that friendly at Reception. Really glad that we only stayed one night and had the objective to get out asap. This hotel has the possibility of being pretty and potentially enjoyable but this will need time, investment and friendly staff. For us, never again.

Low season so hotel didn't seem busy. Got a room where heating didn't work and no Wi-Fi in the room as promised in room description. Was able to change the room to get working heating but still too far away from main building to get Wi-Fi in the room. New room a bit dusty and probably not used in a while. Got mosquito bites. However warm and we only stayed one night. Parking facilities and breakfast good.

We stayed at the Diana to go apartment hunting and met many other people doing the same. Excellent location to get to anywhere on the Costa Del Sol. Very friendly and competent staff. Ideal for my purpose

Attending a wedding in the locality, this hotel suited my needs perfectly. The pool area was large, clean and tidy, the breakfast ample and the reception staff very helpful and friendly, providing advice and drawing maps for my planned visit to Granada. My only gripe would be the comfort of the bed but as rooms in the hotel are being revamped I am sure that this will be addressed shortly. I caught a bus to Estepona from Madrid and had half an hour of confusion when I discovered that the hotel was not actually close to Estepona town - but that was my own error not that of the hotel

The staff could speak Englishbut of course, you received more info in Spanish. The dated room was clean and in good condition. The pool was clean and inviting, but quite cool.

We were very disappointed in the facilities of the hotel and its surrounding were very shabby and dirty. Also the hotel was like a building site and dust and dirt everywhere. We were on the second floor and there were no lifts or a slope to take our cases up. I think when booking this hotel we should have been told that building was going on. We left a day early as we had enough. We also could not make why there was only one chair in the room and the air conditioning was very ancient.

Very difficult to evaluate as it was only a late arrival, overnight stop. Difficult to access the hotel as we were driving (in the dark of night), saw a town sign that said 'Estepona' then a few seconds later a road sign that said 'Estepona 13 km' which confused us. Fortunately we saw the illuminated hotel sign so doubled back but were unable to find a way across the dual carriageway. We did eventually, but only after driving around for about another 15 minutes. Hotel itself was fine, friendly staff and pool area looked inviting, sadly we had to leave early so were unable to check out any other facilities.

Nos sorprendido para bien el hotel en general, instalaciones, las habitaciones con respecto a amplitud y limpieza, ambiente de relax para disfrutar con la familia, la piscina, no es nada ruidoso. Alrededor se puede encontrar sitios para cualquier tipo de comida en el día con gran variedad de bares. Cerca de zonas de interés.

Además el personal muy agradables y simpáticos, siempre atentos y colaborando con que no nos preocupáramos de nada.
En especial cabe mencionar a Félix por su atención con nosotros.

Dålig standard på rum. Ofräscht.. vi hade myggor i hela rummet när vi checkad in och vi hittade även en kackerlacka i rummet efter första dagen. Det var en stor springa under dörren till vårt rum och vi bodde på bottenplan så enkelt för djur och kryp att ta sig in..

Enkelt og greit. Luktet vondt i baderom hver dag. Måtte kjøpe godlukt spray. En del kryp i soverom og bad. Måtte betale ekstra for frokost, trodde den var inkl. Hyggelig betjening og god frokost.
Avlåst p-område.
