IIt was secure clean. But doesn’t have a view away from the metro station about 20 minutes walk. The showers water keep changing temperature. I was burned in my back three times. I told the reception they said they will send somebody to take care of it, but no changes. upon checking out one of the housekeepers open the door while we still packing our stuff and we were just 10 minutes late when I told my experience to the reception in charge, he apologies and offered us free Turkish coffee that was the only good experience. I don’t think I will come back to this hotel

Very nice room. Nice hotel. Service was average to poor. Tried to get an ironing board one day. Called 3 times. Waited 1/2 hour between calls. Kept saying they would bring one right up. Never did get the ironing board. Seemed like everyone did the bare minimum when dealing with us. Nice hotel with nice facilities. Breakfast was good. 5 star hotel with 3 star service.

The housekeeping was very clean and kind. However there was always a sewage smell every morning that they had to fix chemically. The AC in the room wasnt working and every complain i asked for it to be fixed they would say “we will do it systematically, no problem” and nothing of course. Until i made a complain to the rooms division manager and he was kind enough to offer me a suite as a room change. However it was all a lie since when i collected my things and called reception their response was “call us in 2 or 3 hours and will see if there is a room available to switch” which is very rude since its their issue to fix and the manager shouldnt offer something that he cant do. After 3 hours i had to complain to the duty manager since nothing happened and he was the rudest person i have seen working and as a “manager” not even small staff. Worst experience ever in my 50 5* hotels i have visited.

The room I had was about as spacious and comfortable as you could wish for -- all modern conveniences, quiet, and clean. Downstairs, I used the sauna and the gym. Both were clean; the gym was well equipped, and the locker room was convenient and safe for valuables. For the money, this was a really good deal. I cannot speak for the other amenities -- steam room, massage, pool -- because I did not have a chance to use them. Same for the restaurant, since I wanted to explore the neighborhood.
The drawback of the hotel is the dreary location. You are well away from anything touristy here. However, there are good restaurants just a couple of blocks away for traditional Turkish specialties, all very tasty and inexpensive.

When arrived at the hotel the room we booked wasn’t available and had to stay in two separate rooms from our children. Housekeepers didn’t even replace toilet paper that finished on the day and towels had stains on them

Rude service, when I checked in the asked for a 500TL deposit payment or 50Euro for the minibar, I said I didn't have cash and offered to pay by card, they said they didn't take card. When I got to my room I get a knock on the door and some ody comes in and empties the minibar area. The spa area most of the facilities were not working

This was my 5th stay at the golden tulip in ISTANBUL bayrampasa the rooms are spacious clean great room service there’s a pool sauna steam room massage room gym loads of floors loads of choices and it’s well connected my only change from my other stays this time was I used the massage facility’s for the first time I had 2x medical massage and 1x hamam Turkish massage and it is male on male female on female and the lad that did my massage his name was Barish he was absolutely phenomenal at his job the best massage I’ve had in my life he was knowledgeable and great conversationally and it was the most relaxing massage I’ve had in my entire life he is one of a kind the pools and rooms are clean the showers great the restaurant it great and I’m aiming for my 6th stays October 2022 I highly recommend everyone stays here in ISTANBUL the staff are helpful they will direct you to the 3 nearby metro stops / tram stops too see you soon guys !!

Most important is that the property is poorly managed. the rooms are very cold and you don't get additional blankets even if you ask for them. I had to call my booking agent to negotiate 1 more blanket in the room.
Personnel was very rude and unfriendly. Even the cold milk you for your coffee, you have to beg the Chef to get some. You have to speak Turkish in order to get the service otherwise you're just ignored.

Room very small, it was not like it looked in the pictures, The first night of staying I called room service for ice, \"they were not friendly at all, he hung up the phone on me. and they were charging for ice every time we needed it. We went downstairs and we requested coffee, which they were suppose to put in the room every day, and the staff member was like \"we put coffee every day at 2pm\" but they didn't bring it in three days. I also saw a couple of disappointed customers wanting to check out because of their services.

Good hotel clean little but out of city centers

Hotel very good, staff very good but not suitable for families with small children as the swimming pool is too deep for children, in order to sell swimming caps the lady informed us the swimming pool is safe for children but before we go for swimming we have to buy swimming cap then we find out the swimming pool is not for children and is to deep her concern was not the safety of children but to sell swimming caps apart from that every thing about golden tulip is excellent

I didn’t like that when my friends and I arrived to check-In, we were required to show a HES code. The hotel staff told us we weren’t allowed to stay there. No where on the site did it mention us needing one. We spent time trying to figure it out before we were allowed into our rooms.

When I reached the hotel, the customer service agent informed me that there was no reservation for me. It came as a shock and surprise because I had made reservations through Expedia and paid for it in full.
I was told that I could get temporarily get a room if I paid a cash deposit, which I did. I had to pay extra for the breakfast.
I demand cash refund from Expedia for not keeping their term and commitments in the contract.

Excellent hotel that is very professional and also has very friendly staff. I discovered this hotel couple of months ago and have already stayed many nights and will certainly be staying again. The parking is awesome there is free valet parking or you can park on the side parking spaces. This is a very good feature because Istanbul is very congested and parking with a rental car is never an easy task :). This hotel always fulfills requests and tries to go a mile ahead of your request.

Lovely hotel with a kings welcoming of traditional Turkish coffee whilst waiting to check in. Very clean with fruit platter and nuts on arrival to room.
Hotel in an industrial area however gave us the opportunity to use public transport/metro/bus/which is close by. Private transport available from hotel with taxis outside.
Highly recommended hotel and would definitely stay here again.

Reading the reviews online about RUDENESS OF STAFF ....I took a chance .... to my disappointment I found that some of the staff in the spa and gym area are extremely rude and arrogant

I was suppose to stay 4 nights I checked out after 1

The area is far from the touristy places

The bathroom had a TERRIBLE smell ...had to get housekeeping in to spray the room

I would not recommend this hotel

I'm an airline pilot and I ve stayed at many many hotels in my life

This is unfortunately not a 5 star experience
