Booked this hotel only because of the on site electric car charger.
Only found out both car charger (two) are out of service.
If arriving property with the believe that there is a working electric car charger would have result in having to tow the car to an another charger if you run out of battery.
Poor communication between the property and Expedia and no notification to visitor in advance when the car charger is out of order.
Message was sent to hotel to request info to check on the availability of electric car charger but no reponse and the staff even blame the electric car charger provider for not fixing it.
Poor hotel condition overall.

What an experience! And where to start this review.
The gentleman who works here is lovely and tries hard. I thank him for that. The older lady who works here should consider a career outside of hospitality. Questioning why I wanted fresh sheets and towels after 3 nights seemed rather unprofessional considering this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel…. I was eventually (reluctantly) given sheets to change the bed myself (only they didn’t fit the bed and there were no pillow cases but I guess I was expected to be grateful).
Restaurant was closed - the bar had buckets placed on the floor, assuming it has a leaky roof.
The hotel is miles away from anything unless you take the ferry across the Rhine (this does not run in the evening). Thank goodness Uber Eats delivers here.
There was a lot of noise outside of the hotel with constant mowing of something - all day long…
The room was spacious and bright. Bed comfortable. Big door we could open which was good as the 3rd floor was very warm and the AC was not working.

Such a quiet space on the Rhein. Watched the wildlife at frughstuk and the barges at Breakfast this morning. This is our 4th stay here. Close enough to DUS but in the countryside. If you are chill, you will enjoy.

This hotel is advertised as being close to the Düsseldorf airport, but it is not. It is in the middle of nowhere and will cost you at least 100 Euros to get there and to the airport. I will not recommend it to anyone, unless time and money is not of the essence.

Annual trip to the Christmas markets in Dusseldorf/Koln. Another really good experience with Christmas markets getting even bigger and better. The hotel is in a great location on the bank of the Rhine, great for driving to Krefeld/Dusseldorf/Moenchengladbach and only 50 minutes drive to Koln. We had a really nice suite with breakfast at a great price with hotels.com ....... particularly good deals out of season at this hotel.

A peaceful and luxurious hotel beside the Rhine
Wow, this hotel is situated right on the Rhine River. We booked a superior deluxe room over looking the Rhine which was worth every cent. The breakfast provided was superb and quite lavish. Directly Outside there is a ferry for cars, bicycles and passengers that crosses the Rhine continuously throughout the day. We rented bicycles from the hotel crossed the river using the ferry, explored the castle which you see from the hotel, and then rode south using bike paths to the old town area of Düsseldorf. After exploring this area we crossed back over the river and headed north back along bike paths to our hotel. This round trip took us about four leisurely hours to complete. The hotel is about 15 minutes by car from the Düsseldorf airport. Overall, will definitely stay here again.

I was there for 3 days on a business trip and would definitely go back. the hotel is out of the way a bit but set in a very idyllic surroundings. Super restaurant, staff and nice big rooms for a German hotel. Usually those hotel rooms are tiny. Anyway, I can heartily recommend it.

Lovely location, good attention to detail but don't be late for dinner. We were told we could only have two courses when we turned up having booked for 8:40pm. In the end we had an 'amuse-bouche', soup, main and desert and all of these were of a very high standard. We would definitely go back and might try some of the other hotels in the group.

Wir hatten ein sauberes & großes Zimmer für einen kleinen Preis. Die Lage des Hotels ist trotz der Nähe zum Flughafen ruhig gelegen.
Beim Check wollte man uns die Gebühr für den Parkplatz berechnen. Wir haben darauf hingewiesen, dass wir keinen Parkplatz verwenden. Im weiteren Verlauf des Check ins wurden wir mehrmals teilweise unterschwellig, teilweise direkt gefragt, ob wir nicht doch hier parken und lediglich die Gebühr umgehen wollen. Dieses Verhalten haben wir als sehr dreist empfunden.

Das Konzept erscheint dem Grunde nach nicht verkehrt, man hat aber offenbar die billigsten Unternehmer genommen, die man finden konnte. We do our best and chalk the rest war hier das Motto. Schief montierter Fernseher und ein offenbar nicht funktionierendes Lüftungssystem mit Stockflecken in den Gardinen bleiben in Erinnerung. Offenbar hat auch niemand hinter dem Vorhang auf dem Fensterbrett Staub gewischt.

Very, very good accommodation. Only thing: for our dinner we had to drive to the city, roughly 8 kilometers and back 8 kilometers.

Ein Zimmer von den drei gebuchten Nichtraucherzimmer roch sehr nach Zigarettenrauch. Die Bäder wurden leider nicht renoviert - so wie die Zimmer -, daher lief das Wasser schnell aus der Dusche. Unter Tresor ging leider nicht und neue Handtücher gab es nur auf Nachfrage.
Das Frühstück war leider auch nicht unser Fall, weil es nur Aufbackbrötchen und Plastikwurst gab. Das Obst und Gemüse war schnell weg und wurde nicht mehr nachgelegt. Der Kaffee war aber gut.
