Did not meet my expectations.

Leaking roof in room from air conditioner. The floor was covered in water. Had to change rooms and for reasons unknown the new room was 30° even with the heating off...!! i couldnt get the air con to work... After moving once i had no more energy to complain again... the technician that helped and the staff are very friendly but overall it was more stress than relaxation. It did not meet my expectations.

These guys were just incredible. There was a mix up with the booking that could have cost me thousands of dollars and they treated me in the most sympathetic way possible. My room was fantastic and looked like it had been redone recently. The overall hotel is ok, not my style of decoration and a bit outdated. I had lunch in the bistro and the salad was soggy. They had only 1 vegetarian option but the waiter was very friendly. There is nothing in walking distance except a gas station so if you need anything you have to take a taxi. No option for assistance with your luggage which was a negative. However, taxis were always outside. I would stay more central next time but at least when I was in my room it was nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. Tv selections were not great.

Staff are not very helpful. The rooms you keep showing are with a double bed. Yet we got 2 single beds when we asked for doubles.
You booked us a taxi told us it be 15 euros yet it cost us 25 euros.

When we checked in we was told the restaurant and bar was closed she offed to order us pizza this was 11pm.she came back after 40 minutes and told us they was closed. So we was sat waiting 40 minutes waiting thinking our pizza was on its way yet she hadn't ordered it .VERY POOR SERVICE. And then we find out the bar is still open.

i stayed at the hotel week of medica and found the hotel clean and friendly, but was discussed that i had 2 unaurthroised payments taken out of my bank account which i am now having to wait for 5 days the value of these transaction was over £600.00. so that is why i am discussed. in all the years i have been traveling i have never had this happen to me.

Arrived last at night for check in and staff were very helpful and friendly. Offered the paid parking (20 Euros) but also directed me to the free public car park to the rear of the hotel which I managed to find a space in.

Room was excellent. We had a 17th floor city view. Room was clean and tidy and very spacious.

Breakfast was superb with stacks of choice and really good quality items available. Really impressed.

As mentioned, there is nothing to do around the hotel but the local U-Bahn station (Am Seestern) is 200-300m away and takes you to such convenient stops as the area at the top of the old town or right by the main shopping area of Konningsallee, so location wasn’t an issue at all.

Would thoroughly recommend the Lindner.

Superb

We chose to stay in the business district as we knew it would be quiet in late July.
It’s only a short tram ride away from the city centre. Straßenbahn stopis about 500m away.
I have racked my brains but can only list positives.
Breakfast - superb

Don’t pay for on site parking, there’s unlimited free on road parking behind the hotel.

Overall this was a great Hotel, however the Breakfast was not the greatest and the Bed was uncomfortable especially the pillows. And of course, again no washcloth.Since that is not something the Hotels in Germany provide.

Yatch theme hotel in dussledorf

Relatively new hotel with nice clean and decentnroom size. Located just 15 minutes from the city centre can be access by train with only 5 minutes walking distance from hotel. The bed is comfort, bathroom is very lux and wifi is excellent.

Things got off to a bad start when o was given a twin instead of a double.
Wifi was appallingly slow and had to buy wifi instead from TELECOM as I could not use the free wifi.
Also hotel website claims hotel is 1km from exhibition centre. This is true if you are a bird and fly directly over the Rhine. 7.5km by taxi!

Great option for business trip

Hotel picked purely for business and attendance at a fair taking place at the Messe exhibition centre. It's convenient providing you are happy with taking taxi's to the venue and to town which are easily organised from the hotel. Stayed in a comfort class queen size bedroom which includes Nespresso machine facilities (not often found in Dusseldorf!). Breakfast was buffet style but a good quality level. Would stay again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. You should be aware that this hotel is on the other side of the river from the convention center and it is about a 20 euro cab ride to get to and from the hotel from the convention center.

Fab Hotel with great facilities

Enjoyed the 3 night stay , room was very clean with everything you could possibly want . Staff were very friendly and could not be more helpful . Breakfast was fantastic although it was a bit pricey . Overall I would recommend and would certainly return here if I return for boxing in Dusseldorf .

Nice hotel, in an office park. Not near many restaurants or the old town. My stay coincided with the annual medical convention, during which the free wi-fi slowed to a crawl and for over 500 euro a night I expected better.

Front of house staff were not very friendly or approachable. They seemed inconvenienced by any query or request and reticent to impart a 'can do' attitude. The hotel had no problem profiteering at the Medica conference. Room was 960 euro with no breakfast. The coffee machine did not work and I was placed in a smoking room after requesting non smoking. The gym and leisure facilities as well as the food were very good. Breakfast was excellent.

A very pleasant stay

Although a last minute booking with a very aggressive rate, I was given an upgraded room, complete with a nice view good coffee maker with plenty of room to stretch out and no noise.
Car parking was both directly in front of the hotel (free) and there's a car parking building attached - car-parking and free internet in the room were two of my items, I did find that there was no cable for the free wired internet, but have confidence that if I'd asked it would have been provided as a request for an ironing board was.
I was planning a quick exit in the morning so declined the breakfast, but a well stocked vending machine had me covered for just a couple of Euro's so I could be on my way.
Friendly staff, give it a go.

Quiet neighborhood, good access, great city view

Stayed for 3 nights on Business, but was there for the annual Japan-Germany Festival. FANTASTIC VIEW of the fireworks from room 1012 (saw the whole show, including the ground and aerial explosions!). Close to Tram (striaght to the Old City & main train station) & Bus stop (2 blocks). Excellent room - clean, bright, comfortable. Didn't sample the breakfast, although I planned to on my last stay (typically a bountiful feast at Linder Hotels). Very friendly and helpful staff.

I have had to stay in the Seestern area a few times for work and have sampled a variety of hotels. Although this is slightly (extra 5min walk)further away from the office it is the nicest hotel I have stayed at in the area. The first class room was lovely and comfortable, easy to relax with a stocked mini bar and a private balcony.

A lot of value for a low price

Tidy hotel with a slightly old but fully functional rooms (some are modernized, it appears) and typical 3-star service, but excellent price. Did not try the breakfast service. Difficult to find by car, they should change their official address to provide the visitor to navigate directly to the parking at the backdoor. Would choose the hotel again.

Quiet and clean

A bit far for walking to the public transport. Wifi is not even free for such a considerable room rate. The sauna room is not user-friendly designed. The reception is cold and gives a rigid impression.

The hotel resto is good. The bed is nice and the room looks new and clean.

Stop charging for internet services

There are two distinct sides to the hotel...I had colleague stay in the unrefurbished side and the rooms were extremely tired..3* these are the majority of rooms available, I however stayed in the refurbished side and it was fabulous as were the facilities downstairs....had everything been the same as the new side it should get 5* but I would only give it 4* as they want to charge for internet connection....why do they do this when the room is so expensive for an exhibition....it really leaves a sour taste. As you can guess this is a pet hate of mine so have booked elsewhere for next years show.

With colleagues, we had 4 rooms at the hotel. Everyone was unhappy with the rooms. Single beds, poor showers, terrible mattresses. Hotel dates back to 1972 and it shows. Very tired.

I thought from other reviews that the hotel was near the airport, but it was a 20 Euro taxi ride away (bus had finished for the day). Although the room was inexpensive, eating in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast was expensive but as the hotel was far from other amenities there was little choice. I was annoyed with a staff member for assuming that I meant to give an 8 Euro tip (the bill was 32 euros including a service charge. I gave him 40 Euros and expected change,but he just took the money!) I put this down to cultural differences?! and was too embarrassed to ask for my change. This did leave me with a bad feeling. The hotel is comfortable inside but felt a little dated.
