Really enjoyed our staff at Innside. It was close to work and had food options as well as public transportation close by. The room was excellent (clean, well stocked, comfortable bed), however the glass shower wasn't something that I liked. It was in the middle of the room, you could see through the glass which made it uncomfortable for my child when I was showering. For a couple or individual it would be okay but I was traveling with an adult daughter.

Booked five rooms on business. One of them was not cleaned on arrival and, in spite of promising to fix this soonest, we returned four hours later (ready for bed) to find nothing had been done about it. In my own room, the sheets were stained. The receptionists on the evening shift seemed like they both started that day, couldn't understand the most basic of instructions, generally looked shell-shocked, stressed and out-of-their depth. decent staff in the morning and in the kitchen but we stayed here five years ago and the breakfast was amazing. Now it was reduced to a fraction of its former glory. Won't be coming here again.

I booked a king bed at Hotels.com. When I got to the room it was two twin beds connected together. The lady from the reception was extremely rude about this. I think if people in the hospitality industry cannot be nice to guests they need to find a new job.

The hotel has large rooms. I stayed in the Deluxe room. The bar is also quite nice. Parking is free on the weekends.

Clean, modern and comfortable room and very pleasant and helpful staff. They must have fixed the wi-fi issues others reported because I was using wi-fi on two devices all the time and it worked perfectly, even when handling large files. A short taxi ride to the Messe Dusseldorf - the taxis line up at the Novotel across the street so it's easy to get around. There isn't much within walking distance, though.

Ok - but there are better hotels close by.

Small rooms compared to others in the area. Shades didn't open in the room so I had the lights on even though it was sunny outside. When I mentioned this to the staff they told me the shades move with the sunlight but mine never moved - other rooms didn't seem to have a problem opening the shades. Breakfast is OK but Mercure and courtyard are better. Restaurant is very expensive. Wifi was bad so I ended up paying extra for it. Limited TV channels compared to Marriott. Lots of mass concrete walls and metal made it look like an institution. Shower and sink are open to the room so if you are sharing it wouldn't be ideal. Room was hot even with Air-Con on full blast - but it the weather was very hot in general.

Three remarks
1. Shower in room is all open plan no probs if your with the mrs
But hey what happens when your staying with colleagues / friends or the kids
Shower is all open plan totally see throu to whole of room it’s a glass bottle in middle of rooom
2. Nearest tram /train Stn is only 250 m away
But no mention that it shuts at 1900 week days
And limited service on weekends
3.
Restaurant has a very limited menu
No where to get any thing to eat after 2200

And one other remark makes me smile
The name INNSIDE it’s true to its name
The hotel floors 6 are all set out just like prison wings minus the suicide nets
Did make us chuckle

Convenient Hotel for business

Convenient Hotel for business. Rooms are good although not big. Wifi needs improvement and the free Wifi was only 100MB/day and I questioned the receptionist which changed my subscription for an unlimited plan with 3Mbps download and 1Mbps upload. Small amount of International TV channels.

Overall ok if you are on business. Well designed building but on the simple side. Rooms meant for one; the wall dividing the bathroom from the room is all glass. i.e. no privacy when taking a shower if two people in the room.
Good breakfast buffet. Other meals, limited menu with few choices, but food quality excellent. Bar well stocked, but not much in the room's mini-bar.
Staff try to be helpful but limited in the service they can provide.
Sixt car rental location at hotel convenient, but more expensive then airport.

Not so good:
We traveled for a trade show and had a hard time finding a room anywhere. This hotel said they had a room with two beds. Other then the shower problem already mentioned, the room we were given only had a queen. The staff apologized but could not give us a room with two beds; they set up a separate cot for us which wasn't too comfy.
The air-conditioning didn't work too well (June). The room would get stuffy, even with the window cracked open.

Room smelled eggy on entry. Aircon insufficient was 35 degrees and it may as well have been off (May be it was) parking real issue as only 5 Free spaces outside hotel otherwide if lucky you could find street parking failing that €20/ night. Ouch. Hotel reminds me of a modern high-tech prison with its concrete walls and grey railings. Wouldn't stay here again. Staffing real shortage and one receptionist thought he could cover up issues buy giving condescending answers to simple questions. Plus side, Beds are comfortable but squeak when you turn.

Recent business trip to Dusseldorf I found the hotel very nice once inside, from the outside it looks like a concrete lump with no windows! The rooms had air conditioning but you would never have known as it wasn't very efficient. You could open the large doors at either side of the window, although there was railings to prevent you stepping out I didnt feel these were child friendly. The evening menu is very limited with only 4 choices with no facilities available on a Sunday for either lunch or dinner, if you have a short stay this is suitable but on a long business trip not so good. Overall a nice hotel for a short stay, the staff were friendly and helpful?

For a short stay this is perfectly adequate, an extended stay highlights some room for improvement. The room size was great along with the bath/shower facilities and wardrobe space. However the King Size bed was two beds pushed together and TWO seperate duvets. alo the pillows provided very little support.

Positives: Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. Negatives: The interior is quite dark and industrial with exposed concrete and steel work; not very appealing. The taps and shower were difficult to adjust for temperature and flow. However, none of these negatives apply to the lobby or restaurant area.

Great Corporate Hotel

I felt this hotel was a bit too far from the airport for us. I could of stayed at the Sheraton which was within walking distance to the airport or another hotel again which was in the airport and did not have to spend $20 euro's (one way) to get to the hotel.

A nice corporate hotel for business people, overall quality was great but not a kid friendly hotel as far as food, etc. Too pricey to feed children for breakfast which they probably would not of eaten $19 euro's. I felt for the cost of the room breakfast should of been included.

After missing a flight to Australia due to being bumped from an overbooked Lufthansa flight from Gdansk, this pleasant modern hotel eased the inconvenience. Especially dinner in the restaurant - tasty fresh imaginative salad followed by delicious duck breast on potato and crisp vegetables. Shower as central feature in room might trouble some.

Amazingly modern and chic hotel. Room is not very practical though for business travel, the bed has one small blanket that barely covers you and one pillow. There is a glass shower and so if you have two people in the room, it would be quite an enjoyable experience for the person sitting in the room.
Terrible Gym.

But, if you want to take your date, girlfriend, wife to a very sexy hotel, WITH AN AMAZING BUFFET BREAKFAST, BEST I HAVE EVER HAD (including JW Marriots and Intercontinental's), then this is the place for you. A great hotel if you don't plan on getting much sleep ;)
If you are staying with your family, go somewhere else.

For business travel it is ok, very clean and efficient.

Great, modern, clean, relaxing hotel

Rooms very modern (all glass showers that leaves you exposed to the room...don't book this hotel and share a room with kids or friends!). Very comfortable. The spa in the lower level is fantastic - whirlpool/hot tub (who has those in Europe??!), steam room, lounge chairs, workout facility, even a tanning bed if you're that type. The hotel is relatively close to downtown, just a 10 minute train ride - the line that goes right to the hotel does not run on Sundays, but it's only a 5 minute walk to the next stop that goes directly downtown.

Not the best area for food (just hotels and Subway), but so close to the city it doesn't matter much.

Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich, nur die Wasserhähne waren recht schwergängig. Zudem ist wohl Feuchtigkeit hinter die Halterung am Waschbecken gelaufen, dort warf die Farbe kleine Blasen.
Das Abendessen (die Spaghetti Gorgonzola) war leider nur mäßig, der Service jedoch freundlich und schnell.

Wirklich ekelhaft! Bad verkalkt und verschmutzt. Abgenutzt alles. Komische Zeitschaltuhrlampe. Flecken und Dreck wo das Auge hinschaut. Lüfter im Bad- so zu mit Staub, dass meine Abluft entweichen kann. Löcher in Teppich. TV funktionierte nicht - ging immer aus. (Meldung folgte, aber wegen Wochenende ist kein Techniker da). Zimmerreinigung wurde vergessen, dabei hing das Zimmerschild- auf Nachfrage kam die Reinigungskraft.
Immerhin es gab einen Kaffee aufs Haus als Entschuldigung.
Außerhalb: vor der Tür des Hotels- niemand interessiert es wie es aussieht. Voller Aschenbecher, benutzte Tassen auf dem davor gestellten Tisch, Asche auf dem Boden, Tiefgerage (22.-€/Nacht) hier überfüllte Mülleimer. Gibt’s hier keine Kontrollrunden im Gebäude und außerhalb? Die Rezeption besetzt mit 4 Personen, 2 vorne, 2 im Büro dahinter. Das niemand Zeit hätte- für die Umsichtigkeit würde mir merkwürdig erscheinen. Check-in merkwürdig- keine Erklärungen über beispielsweise Frühstück etc. Der Check-in erfolgte wortlos mit der Übergabe der Zimmerkarten.
Das wirklich positive: das Frühstück. Ein solides Standardfrühstück, dennoch alles vorhanden und frisch- selbst das Rührei.
Ich hätte mir vorher die Bewertungen durchlesen sollen- meine Erfahrungen waren schlecht, das schlechteste Hotel, was ich je erlebt habe. Nie wieder- schade um mein Geld.

Premium rommet var flott for meg og min sønn. Det var 2 gode stoler og en benk som passet som bord. Vi er overrasket over de svært varme dynene, som ikke er tilpasset årstiden. Personalet ga god service, som gav oss fri drikke som lovet da minibaren ikke ble fylt opp. Det var er grei frokost, men den er overpriset i forhold til hva andre måltider koster.

Es ist schade das man nicht das Zimmer bekommen hat welches man vermeintlich gebucht hat. Bekomme angezeigt mit badewanne und scheibe sodass man durch das zimmer schauen kann und das ein kingsize bett vorhanden ist. Beides leider nicht vorgefunden. War sehr ärgerlich da ich aufgrund der badewanne mit sicht aus dem Fenster dieses zimmer gebucht habe.

Ich finde die Zimmereinrichtung nicht gut gelöst mit dem offenen Bad.Wer möchte vom Bett aus sehen, wie sich der andere die Zähne putzt oder duscht? Wenigstens die Toilette hatte eine eigenen Raum... Die Gänge des Hotels erinnern an Gefängnisgänge, hätte man freundlicher und hübscher machen können. Wenn man in ein Hotel zum Empfang kommt, möchte man auch nett empfangen werden. Ich fand die Empfangsdame zwar hübsch und jung aber nicht gerade freundlich, was schade ist. Das Frühstück war sehr schön auch nettes Personal.

Ich bin jedes Jahr in über 100 Hotels, diesmal war es aber wirklich seltsam. Das Personal war wie bei innside by Melia sehr freundlich, aber die Geschäftsführung ist für mich nicht zu verstehen.
Das Restaurant war entgegen der Hompage geschlossen. Also nichts zu Essen. Bar war geöffnet, dachte ich mir ich trinke ein Glas Wein und gut ist. Ging aber auch nicht. (Wein nur Flaschenweiße). Ok dann ab aufs Zimmer etwas fernsehen. Ging auch nicht, kein Empfang, angeblich wegen dem Kran auf der Nachbarbaustelle.

No air conditioner is available in the room but only a cooling fan system.
I checked on the website before my arrival and no negative corona test was needed. However, when I arrived, the test was requested.

Nach langer Zeit durch Corona endlich wieder im Außendienst. Ich bin sehr spät (23:45) im Hotel eingecheckt. Alles war vorbereitet. Alles super schnell abgewickelt. Gut geschlafen, ordenliche Matratze gutes Zimmer, es war lediglich warm.
Frühstuck am anderen morgen super organisiert. Jeder Gast bekam sein Kaffee und Saft an den Tisch. Das Frühstück per Etagere wo ein große Auswahl drauf war wurde auch direkt zum Tisch gebracht.

In Zeiten der Pandemie quasi ein \"fast null Kontakt\" Aufenthalt.

Das Hotel selbst ist sehr ordentlich und sauber. Tolles Haus. Werde es wieder buchen.

Der Kühlschrank in unserem Zimmer war leider nicht von den Resten des Vorbewohner gereinigt und nachgefüllt. Bis auf dieses Missgeschick war aber sonst alles perfekt.

Schoon, net en goedkoop hotel

Kamers waren schoon en netjes.
De douche was ff wennen, wij vonden dit wel leuk, maar als je met 2 personen, en geen koppeltje bent, kan het erg ongemakkelijk zijn. De kamer heeft namelijk een glazen douche in het midden van de kamer.
Het ontbijt was heerlijk! Lieve, gastvrije bediening. Kwamen niets te kort!
Parkeertarieven aan de hoge kant! Wij hadden het geluk dat er voor de deur een gratis plek vrij kwam, maar er zijn er volgens mij maar 6.
Het iets mindere vond ik, dat de receptioniste niet echt vriendelijk over kwam. Bij het inchecken al niet, maar ook met het voorbij lopen naar het ontbijtbuffet, kwam er nog geen goedemorgen uit. Dat was jammer. Het viel ons echt op.
Als je de auto geparkeerd hebt, kun je om de hoek de tram pakken. Ideaal! Je stopt zo midden in de Altstadt.
We hebben 1 nachtje hier geslapen, maar het was echt goed, ook weinig, tot geen herrie in de nacht. Lekker rustig.( omgevingsgeluid)
Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Sehr freundliches personal, Hotel an sich ist modern, jedoch die Zimmer könnten vielleicht einen neuen Teppichboden bekommen bzw. den alten einfach weg und Fliesen/ Parkett... Wäre zu mindest optisch schöner.
Ansonsten ging alles sehr schnell und wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Tolle ruhige Lage - sehr schnell im Zentrum.

Sehr schönes und modernes Hotel. Das Zimmer hat eine große Fensterfront und eine sehr gute Möglichkeit der Öffnung für Frischluft. Ab 06.00 Uhr macht sich der nahegelegene Flughafen bemerkbar. Das hat uns aber nicht gestört. Im Garten konnte man ein paar Karnickel beobachten. Das Bett war sehr bequem. Die verglaste Duschkabine bleibt wohl noch lange positiv im Gedächtnis.
Warum aber keine volle 10 Punkte-Bewertung? Zweimal mussten wir wegen unvollständigen Handtüchern in der Rezeption nachfragen. Einmal kann ja mal vorkommen. Aber zweimal? Das sollte in einem solchen Haus einfach nicht passieren. Aufgrund der Reaktion an der Rezeption scheint dieses Problem jedoch bereits bekannt zu sein.
Und dann war da noch so ein kleines Haar in der Suppe: Die Buchungsbestätigung lautete auf EUR 227,00 und die Kreditkarte wurde jedoch mit EUR 227,01 belastet. Das ist für mich kein großer Unterschied. Jedoch hinterlässt es bei der Abreise ein ungutes Gefühl. Schade. Sonst war der Aufenthalt ohne Frühstück sehr schön.
